Pros:GPS, awesome safety features, great gas mileage
Cons:A full size SUV in Iceland is somewhere between a midsize suv and a full size suv. We could not fit in the Nissan that they gave me as an equivalent to a Tahoe. There are not American size cars in Iceland. I had to pay an extra $100/day for a shuttle van that could fit 6 people and our 6 suitcases. The Nissan worked great before we had to add our luggage.
Pros:The process of renting the car was fast and simple. I'd say we were in and out in less than 30 minutes. The representative was friendly and extremely helpful.

Pros:Staff was very friendly.
Cons:The $260 for one day bill. I originally reserved a VW Golf- bait & switch. When I dropped off my car- it took 30 min's for the shuttle to get back to the airport for a 5 min walk.
Pros:Staff were friendly. Pick up and drop off went quickly- sometimes too quickly.
Cons:We had reserved a Jeep Wrangler, and they first gave us a Dacia Duster. Which is not even close. It was older and very dirty inside, and had many scratches and dings on the outside. We drove it less than five miles, and noticed an awful sound when we turned tightly. We looked and determined that the interior of the wheel well was loose and the wheel was rubbing it when we turned. When we took it back, they said ‘oh yeah, the Duster makes a weird noise when you turn, but it’s not serious’. We refused that car, and we’re goven a substitute (again, nowhere close to similar to a Jeep Wrangler), but cleaner. This time though, it was pouring rain and they had a long line, and when the guy brought us the second car he almost ran over our son because he was backing up so quickly and then just handed us the keys and ran off without a walk around. We walked around the car in the rain and wind and took photos with our phone of all the dings and scratches, and left. Predictably, when we returned the car, the woman at the desk asked about some of the dings (which were rusted, and obviously didn’t happen in two days!) and we had to show her the time stamped pictures to prove that we hadn’t made them despite the guy not taking time to make notes. Frustrating, but she was pleasant and we knew she was just doing her job.
Pros:Good valternative for money with good service. Extremely easy pick up and drop off. Would hire from Enterprise again candidates recommend to others.

Cons:We arrived to the pick-up location address but there was no Enterprise office. A person from Hertz called another Enterprise office and they told us they would come pick us up. There should have been some information about how this process works and who to call, but there wasn't. We figured it out but it added 2 hours that morning while we tried to get the in touch with Enterprise. Also, the car had a couple issues mechnanically which we had to deal with.
Cons:Enterprise is not located at the cruise port. Better options at port.
Pros:Overall ease of rental and return. Decent quality of car, clean, good gas mileage.
Cons:The driver's side windshield wiper blade was useless. The rubber was barely hanging on. I had to stop at a gas station and buy a new one, then had to go to an auto repair place to help install it because it required tools I didn't have.
Cons:Wind screen wipers were rotted and did not clear the screen in the rain
Pros:We got a Renault hatchback for our Iceland trip. The roads were treacherous at times but this car had so many sensors and fun tech that I wanted to take it home with me. Great car! Great gas mileage!
Cons:Gps is something you need in Iceland for sure. So I brought my Garmin nuvi with me(cell phone gps works just as well). The woman at the counter told me that for an extra charge I could get gps in the car. I told her no. When I went to check, gps was built into the car. That just seems like they're trying to get more money from you. That didn't sit too well with me and my wife.
