Cons (-) For the price the facilities could be cleaner. The sheets in my suite were not fresh. Also the hallways had a funny smell. Overall I was disappointed with my experience.

Pros (+) The only nice part of this hotel was the lady who checked us in and out.
Cons (-) This hotel is in horrible shape and needs an update and owners who care about their guests. I would rather stay at a campground in a tent then at this hotel. When the AC stopped working we decided it was time to leave. We found a great hotel to stay at but it took us 2 hours to find a place that was pet friendly and had a room available. Needless to say, but I’ll say it anyways, we don’t recommend...

Pros (+) The price, bed was comfortable, tv was good.
Cons (-) Carpet seemed sticky, in need of shampooing or replacing. Small breakfast room with three tables. Questionable people all over, especially in the morning when you go to eat breakfast and all the tables are taken by one person and one of those persons is very loud and obscene so you end up eating part of your breakfast in the window sill and taking the rest back to your room. Nothing we could do, we just had to be quick and find a roof for the kids until things settled. Book something close to their school and it happened to be these. Pros (+) This hotel was a stop on a moving trip. It's not in a great area of Richmond, but it's on/off the Interstate (if you take the right exit-easy to confuse Chamberlayne Ave and Chamberlayne Road). It was an older place, showing some wear, but it was very clean, pet friendly, and the staff was nice and competent. Just what we needed.
Cons (-) Hard to find. Put the full street address on the internet, not just "Chamberlayne Road". Confuses the GPS.
