Terrible, they gave me a “special” rate where is should have said fully electric car because the car was more costly than a midsize sedan which lead me to believe it was a larger vehicle. The person at the desk refused to change my deal because it was purchased on Kayak and then proceeded to try to upsell me a car that was going to be twice as expensive than the internet price. Pickup and drop off can be a bit chaotic, but on Saturdays especially there are a lot of cars being turned around in a short period of time. Best to get your mind into “island time” before entering the rental building. We got a flat tire during our rental and team took care of it with no complaints and dropped off a new rental car to our condo - great service.Reviewed Mar 16 2025

The communication was poor, and the staff was unhelpful. During a natural disaster, when a cyclone was about to hit the city, I called the staff to request a change in my drop-off location. However, instead of assisting me, multiple staff members kept transferring me from one person to another for over 1.5 hours and several phone calls. It was extremely frustrating, as each representative kept repeating the same message—that I couldn’t change the drop-off location—despite me explaining that a cyclone was approaching. Their lack of flexibility and common sense was astonishing. In the end, I had no choice but to drive to another city, as the original airport's operations were suspended, yet the staff still insisted I return the car to that location. (I doubt Thrifty tests all its staff, making sure that they must not have any brain cells- no thinking and no common sense)Reviewed Mar 11 2025

Booked on line received an email in bold print “your car rental is secured “ ,travelled to opposite end of Vegas strip to be told there were no cars available The desk agent told us when they get busy he could have 15-20 more customers who booked on line and where confirmed show up and find no car available .
