1 person at the dollar/thrifty counter for 20 people in line. After travelling all day and then having to tale an airport shuttle.to a.counter who's line is out the door with only one person working is highly disappointing. The wait to move was awful. The price was good, the car was fine. However, the line to pick up the car was long. More than 12 people in line and only two representatives on a Friday? The price makes up for that delay, so I would use Thrifty again in the future.Reviewed Nov 27 2023

Terrible. There was an incident at pickup that made me feel unsafe and was exacerbated by the Thrifty staff who stated “you’re all here for the $15 dollar rental right?” “You can go to the other rental places next door.” Implying that we should wait since we were getting a low price. There is a longer narrative but the Thrifty remarks continued an escalating discussion between two other renters and there were threats of violence by one of the renters. At minimum Thrifty staff should have called facility security. I abandoned my rental at this point and left.Reviewed Oct 5 2023

Pros:The vehicle was excellent. Brand new. Returning the car was very fast with not problems.Cons:Have more notifications to take a CREDIT CARD. Small print on some customer agreement page is worthless. This was even more critical in San Diego, "Sorry, sir, We're so close to the border." If you wanted to use a debit card you need to have a flight... if not ... sorry too bad. I had to drive back and forth to get my credit card (my fault for not having it). When I was standing in line I saw about 12/18 people have an issue with CREDIT CARD / Debit Card. Update your policies modernize to use other payment methods. The people at the counter had no solutions for me and pointed me to curb to get an UBER. I cant imagine being out of town and being told that.Reviewed May 26 2021
