It's a little bit old, but nice n clean. No coffee maker. Otherwise, nice n close to public transportation. (Cross street from train station to Venice.)
Updated rooms, comfortable bed, quiet, right across from train station to Venice, huge buffet breakfast, large bathroom, excellent wi-fi, luggage storage, centrally located Nothing
Large comfortable and clean rooms, good breakfast. Rooms very quiet considering opposite train station. Excelllent location at a resonable price for those wanting to get into Venice. Staff efficient
Not much to say nice bout this place!! More like a 3* hotel than 4*, unfriendly staff overall, At breakfast had a rude waiter who would not bring me a Cafe latte when i asked for one politely even though he got one for an italian couple nearby!!! He Kept guiding me to the machine Americano stuff,,, If i wanted Americano I would have said so!!!! Not impressed with this place,, awful rooms with mosquitos!! Lobby was so hot and humid,, trying to save Electricity or faulty Aircon. ? Not impressed at all
Hotel was right in front of the Venezia Mestre rail station that would take you to Venezia S.L. in 8 minutes for a couple of Euros. Most of the staff spoke English, but there were a few bumps in communication. No ice machine (found out that it's a European thing) The Double Bed was actually two singles put together.
convenient location, excellent value for money
unly 2 elevators for the entire hotel .caused problems during breakfast
The hotel is across the train station but we were able to sleep with no noise, it was great since we were so tired from daily trips. Breakfast could have been better.
The hotel was clean in a great location & I would stay there again. I didn't like the bed because it was with rollers other than that everything was great.
location , accessibilty lift not working -seemed to be regular thing .breakfast quality not as expected
The location is excellent, just opposite the train station in Mestre. All you have to do is cross the street. The room was nice, with a huge bed and a big bathroom. The staff was very kind, always trying to help. The breakfast was good (cereals, milk, tea, coffee, juice, toast, yoghurt, scrambled eggs, ham, yellow cheese, muffins, croissants), but if you stay more than 2 or 3 days you need some diversity. And they have free wireless internet :) The heating worked just great, it was actually very hot in the room. So you won't freeze in Venice, as someone complained here earlier. The view from our room was not that good, towards the back of the hotel but that was only a minor detail. Since we didn't stay all day in the room this didn't matter.
Its was easy access to the town The breakfast
I stayed at the hotel to take a ship for a cruise. The location was very convenient, because it was very easy to go till the ship, at "Statione Maritime" with a taxi, and, as I heard, the cheapest way too. The hotel is very good, with a big room, good food and good service and facilities.
breakfast was a good choice each morning.
the hotel is near the railways station and it is very easy to go to Venizia center and also to the differents airports. nothing
close to Mestre station, as it was in the station. rooms very clean, a/c perfect. breakfast very nice. no
Super convinient for visiting Venice (2 minutes from Venice Mestre station and 10 minitus from Venice by train).Clean, confortable, and ery attractive service and price quality ratio.
Well to tell you the truth I liked the friendliness of their staff more than anything else. The housekeeping was poor although the linen and towels provided were very clean.
Smelled nice. Looked clean. Wifi. Reasonable room size. Staff took bags to our room. They put us in our room before it was ready, so we got kicked out for a bit while the staff finished up preparations - this happened after recommended check-in time
Location (across the street from the train station, a 4 minute walk to the bus station) Located in Mestre and a 7 minute train ride to Venice Hotel staff were friendly and very accommodating Room was large Included breakfast Weird shower/bathtub design made showering a bit difficult to avoid splashing water on the floor
The breakfast was surprising - - many choices. The rooms were simple but well-equipped and very comfortable. Being just across the street from the train station was a huge plus for us.
second visit and the staff was very helpfull plaisant and efficient, the location was perfect opposite the station for train link to venice and bus to airports, the food in the restaurant was good value and quality, room plaisant but front of building too noisy to sleep, room at the back perfect the bathroom was not clean enough mould on shower tray
Hotel was comfortable and clean. Perfect location for visit to Ferrari Museum.
Location opposite the Train station allowa a one stop journey to vennice at the cost of one euro. A cheaper alternative than staying in a hotel in vennice itself. A small but convenient and clean hotel
good value, few minutes to station. Clean and tidy.
Nice hotel, good breakfast Not up to 4-star standard you would expect. 10-15 mins bus ride to outskirts of venice. If you want to get to the heart of venice (st Mark's square) its another 40 minute walk/taxi boat (e6 one way).
Very friendly and helpful staff. they even sell you the bus tickets which is next door. We were very happy withe the location and parking convenience.
Great location if you are willing to be based in Mestre - which I strongly recommend considering the bus to the island is right outside the hotel (10min bus trip) and its a total rip off staying in venice unless you are ok staying in a 2 star (which will be impossible to find) when for the same price you can stay in a 4 star on the mainland. The bus is 24hr service..
for the short stay we had and the bus and train close by it suited us very well all was ok not sure if you had evening meals that was our problem had to use the chinesse close by or mcdonalds
Convenience to Marco Polo airport Venice. Honest price and good value.
This hotel is right across the street from the Mestre train station. Each morning, when I woke up, I would just buy a cheap train ticket and cross over to the main island of Venice. This was ideal for me, as staying on the mainland saved me hundreds of dollars and was still very convenient. If you have to stay on the mainland like I did, the Tritone is a good location with good rooms, a good staff, and everything you'd need as a base camp to explore Venice. There only thing that I didn't like is that the surrounding area is very drab, but I didn't expect more. I knew that it wasn't going to be in a very fancy area, but that really didn't bother me because the location was ideal for what I needed.
It was very quiet in the room. I could freely use the fast internet connection. The service was excellent. TV channels in English were rather limited, for example when I wanted to get the weather forcust in Venice where the hotel is situated.
The hotel was modern and very clean and the staff were very courteous and helpful. The breakfasts which were included in our stay were the same each day.
In front the train station, secure Same breakfast every day
Clean and near railway station. Very small rooms.
Good location near train station (take underground tunnel in train station to hotel), free breakfast, better value then if you stayed in Venice, bus to Venice right out side hotel staff will inform you how to take bus, hotel sells bus tickets too, a grocery store down the street, washateria diagonally across from Capri pizza & pasta restaurant (good reasonably pirced food 5-8e), there's another pizza & gyro take out place on the way to the grocery store that's very popular with the locals. Both were cheaper and good. Venice is romantic but 8e for 1 slice of pizza and over priced restaurants. Nothing major but internet is not free.
Breakfast was very poor.
Good value for money...cheap...good rooms....the renovation was almost finished... Very bad breakfast....very few things to eat and boaring....the restaurant staff wasnt so helpfull...the hotel is one station away from venice...but the station is just few steps away...thats the plus...and u can save good money by staying here rather than staying in venice which is more expensive...
hotel was easy to find and close to mestre train station. staff were very helpful and spoke good english. the rooms are big and tidy and clean. charge for internet which wasn't very fast. hard pillows
Difficult to find, part of hotel still under construction and additional building construction close to the hotel
Once renovations are completed, it will be a very nice place. The hotel is undergoing major renovations and is completely covered with scaffolding. The private parking they mention is parking on the street. The indoor swimming pool is closed for renovations. Work starts around 7:30am.
close to the railway station, and parking lot for guess room is not clean, and Breakfast is poor than normal hotel
Hotel was located in a very convenient place to visit Venice. Just few minutes by bus to Venice. It was nice big room. The hotel is just under reconstrution and it is noisy. The breakfast was poor and should be there more variety food and beverages as Lugano is listed as 4-star hotel.
Very helpful front-desk staff - we were staying only one evening and had to leave at 430am for the airport, and the gentleman at the front desk offered to have breakfast bags ready for us, to have a wake up call, and to have a taxi waiting for us (all without us even asking). Room was nice.
I enjoyed the comfort of the reception space, the cleanliness of the bathroom and bedroom as well as the helpful hotel staff. I was disappointed by the hotel bar closing at 11pm, although the bar staff were very pleasant.
Great choice for exploring Venice. Public bus just in front of hotel, abt 10 mins to Venice. Supermarket beside hotel. Free carpark right in front of hotel lobby. Staying in Venice itself is very expensive and inconvenient, especially if you drive. Public carpark at Venice costs about 25euro per day and u have to lug your bags to the hotel. In my view, it's better than staying in Venice itself, unless of course u wanna experience staying in Venice.
location, a bus station (to Venice) just in front of the hotel, the internet connection everything was okay. Maybe pretty simple breakfast (?) - not really
good service, staff was very helpful to accommodate us with the little children at the breakfast table It was more like a 3star than a 4star hotel (look of the rooms a bit oldfashioned)
-good location to go to Venice by bus. very good breakfast, bed and air conditioner.-most of the staff are friendly. -less good location to go to Venice by Train which takes around 15 minutes by foot to the railway station.-the batch room and toilette is too small, and even worse, the water goes to the room downstair after our bath.-didn't expect they even charged the one-way bus ticket they had offered(in total 2.20 euro) which I thought should be free.
Our room was clean. The staff was nice and helpful and, although small, the bar was pleasant and comfortable. Location was okay- it was about a 20-30 minute taxi ride to the airport. The photo of the room shown in this ad definitely was NOT our room!!! Our room was small, the bed was really uncomfortable (way too hard) and the pillows were uncomfortable. I woke up during the night several times with back pain (from the hard mattress). This pain carried through the entire rest of the next day. The breakfast was so-so and set up poorly. There were probably 30 others in the room trying to get food and there was very little room between the occupied chairs at the tables and the food and drink stations. People were crowding others out just to get to those stations.
The location was great, very accessible to transit and train. Close to airport - all in all - very convenient and quiet. This was very basic accommodation but a great location. I would not recommend this property to others as a 4 star property. I feel that the website embellished its Venetian style - barely a 3 star by North American standards but it was clean. Beds were uncomfortable and the shower was very small.
Convenient location for my business meetings
Helpful staff.Noiseless place near Venice. This season easy parking. Facilities like wi fi in the rooms.Rooms design.
One of the few REAL 4 stars hotel
The funky ensuite shower room Too small a room for breakfast
Clean, near train station,nice place
I liked its convenient location for Mestre railway station for excellent access to the city of Venice. I found the breakfast room rather small and the storage space in the bedroom rather limited.
Excellent furniture and design. Comfortable, easy to find and quite convenient and good value for the price for a city visit. Good breakfast but the breakfast area (I would not call it a room) in the lobby is quite small. It is not a big problem if you are one of the early birds.
One night staff was extremely friendly and helpfull, the other night staff was extremely unfriendly..... Good value for money - new hotel. Just a couple of minutes walk to Mestre train station with perfect connections to Venice. Around the hotel are some supermarkets and bars. Breakfast area to small when fully booked and if you do not find place/come later back, hotel staff does not refill buffet!!!!!!!!!!!! Rooms rather small, but new (July 2010). Parking on the street cost max. EUR 5,-- (directly next to hotel), hotel charges EUR 10,--.
close to station
The location of this Hotel is excellent - ten minutes walk from the Central Railway Station. Room was spacious with good ensuite. Excellent breakfast (not incl. in room rate) and very friendly staff at the front desk who all spoke good english.
Just sleep WiFI didn't work in the room on 2 fl.. only on 1st fl. around reception.
Everything was great - the design of the hotel, functional rooms, friendly staff, great location - a few minutes walk to the train station, convenient to get to Venice. Did not want to leave! We liked everything
Walking distance from train and bus stations for connections to Venice. Hotel room was fairly small but comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful.
very convenient to train station staff very helpful and courteous great value
good location near station.
Friendly, family-run hotel Breakfast starts a bit later than I would like, but this wasn't a problem in practice.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
the staff was very kind. none
Confortable rooms, sanitory, awsomeness Good
The rooms are adorable and full of modern day amenities which can sometimes be hard to find when traveling in Europe. The hotel is almost directly across from the train station and there is a great restaurant on the corner for the weary traveler! Just wonderful!
Room very clean and confortable. Good Breakfast and friendly staff
Location relative to the train station was great. Hotel staff was very helpful. Very quiet room.
convinence and safety It was noisy in night because my room was near the road.
cleanliness, hospitality, position, car parking
The rooms were great, nicely done and furnished.Bathroom in particular the shower very small. This hotel has video cameras everywere and it gives you the feeling staying in a prison. There is no internet access at all, although the hotel promotes this feature. This is typical misrepresentation of the facts and features!!!!
Close to bus route to Venice. The Management gave us all the information we needed to make our stay fantastic. They were very helpful and could not have done any more to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The secure parking facility was very reassuring. no
Hotel staff and the cleaniless of the room was the best. The hotel was very modern. The breakfast was perfect.
Nice, quiet, well located. no
Location, security and cleanliness.
i had best hospitality ad receptionist was very caring and the foods are cofortaby by all people
Nice staff, location close to Venice (easy bus ride), big and comfortable rooms, everything very clean
The location was excellent - close to railway station, so easy to get to and from Venice by train We were very happy woth Hotel Cris, so nothing negative to report
everything was great n/a
Overall the hotel was above my expectations and I cant wait to go back to Venice and I will be booking this hotel before I book my flights to make sure we can stay there again. I will also be telling all my friend who travel a lot over the summer months to stay here!!!! The staff were amazing and could not do enough for us so for that I am for ever grateful. The only bad thing I say is that we and leave.
This is totally new hotel and according to my opinion this is small 4 star hotel not 3. Anyway, the hotel is on very good position (near bus and train station) only 10 min. to p. Roma in Venice. From this hotel my husband, my daughter (8 years old) and I, visited (by train) Padova and Verona. The staff is very kind, hotel is very clean... If I go in Venice again four sure I will choose this hotel again. Nice hotel for reasonable money.
The hotel is an old building that was renewed and so the facilities are practically brand new, as well as the staff were very attentive. The bathtub leaked but it was solved quickly.
The hotel was well placed, clean and comfortable. very friendly staff.
Great value for money hotel. A very clean hotel and very helpful reception. Located in a peaceful area. Bus sop to Venice is very close and a very short walk to the train station. Many thank to the staff for a pleasant stay.
Very good hotel
The hotel is located close from the Mestre station and the train brings us to Venezia only with 10 mintes ride. The room is very clean, comfortable and staffs are very friendly.
All round very nice standard hotel with good facilities pleasent helpful staff. Highly recommend
The best 3 star hotel we ever stayed! Fantastic staff, tasteful interior, complete rooms, good breakdast and bus to Venice stops at a few 100 metres. The perfect place to stay if you do not want to pay the prices they will charge you in Venice.
The staff were very very friendly and helpful. They were always cheerful and happy to provide information on how to get into Venice, how to use the facilities etc. The hotel itself was very clean and comfortable. We had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend Hotel Adele to future travellers who are considering staying there. The only thing was perhaps the selection of breakfast foods was not vey wide. However, considering it was a complimentary breakfast, we were happy with the pastries and coffee. Also, the third bed (the cot) was very uncomfortable and gave my sister a sore back.
nice hotel, friendly staff, 10 minutes away from Venice, good bus connection. no wireless internet, you need to use the pc at the corridor in between the rooms.
Cooperation of the staff
The friendly and helpful staff good location near the train station and a bus that go's directly to Venice island small toilet
Quetness, service, comfortablre location to reach Venice
close proximity to Venice, friendly staff, car parked inside closed gate
Good place near railroad and bus station to Venice, quite, good conditioning, pretty outdoor cafe, helpful staff. Poor breakfast, nearly no english-speaking staff.
The helpfulness and friendliness of the staff was fantastic. Hotel was great but location meant daily travel on crowded buses - I'm 74 and always had to stand as there were never empty seats when the bus reached our stop so got thrown around and jostled about for 8 to 10 minutes each journey which was not pleasant.
good locatin, quite, friendly breakfast could be better. Too few products
Friendly staff and very good location (100m from BUS station to the centrum, 50m from Bank, 100m from Pizzeria)
A bit far from Venezia
Very quiet area, clean room, 10 min by bus to Venice. The bus station is 100 meters from the hotel. Good breakfast, you can serve it in the small yard. Plenty of parkplaces, we came by car and i left the car at the hotel and visited Venice by foot. Good value for the money, the staff is there to help you, we got a Venice tourist map and tips for dinner. The return bus from Venice can get crowded but this is not the hotel's fault :)) There is no internet connection in the room, you have to use their computer in the hallway.
Staff was very helpful. They offered to call a taxi and confirm pickup for an early morning flight. The room was very clean. Breakfast was served in the morning, but we left too early to have it. Very close to bus and train station and only 12 miles from the airport. Wireless internet. Wireless internet was only in the lobby area--didn't service the rooms.
A very nice place to stay. Near of the train station, nice staff, good bed, quiet room, reasonable breakfast, excelent cost x benefits relation.
Very helpful staff and very clean environment. Comfortable accommodation. Happy with our stay
this hotel has just being renovated, so room is very clean, and has big LCD TV. Location was really good, it is just in front of the Mestre station. It cost just 1euro and 10 minutes to go to Venice from the station. the breakfast was very poor, they serve a tray with one croissant, yohgurt, a small piece of cake and cheese.
Excellent !!wud recommend always..the manager and staff were excellent
Very good location near the rail way station to Vinice, clean and comfort, and the pleasant attitude of Staff and Management, in their efforts to provide excellent service. I strongly recommend this hotel.
Easy connection to rail way stataion and airport. Clean rooms.
Hotel staff doesnt know english.
Rooms are neat and close to station Breakfast is very bad
Very, very convenient for Mestre Station. (Therefore very convenient for Venice) Other facilities nearby. The street is understandably noisy, due to the convenient location. Breakfast is available, but not really adequate, we found.
