our Chevy Malibu continually would not start up after it was parked several different times. The battery light showed low and don’t know if it was that or a mechanical problem. But it became a very big problem when trying to leave for the airport to catch my flight, which I was late for and created incredible stress throughout the whole process. Pros:

Everything went very smoothly. Renting online with Kayak, Pickup process, and return. One of the best rental transaction I have done.

Cons:

Not put an ADDITIONAL $200.00 hold when paying with a world known CC.

the rental was not available despite being reserved several weeks in advance. I wasn't notified until the morning of the rental that they didn't have my reserved car so I cancelled the reservation and was told there would be a full refund. I then was refunded the money several days later except for a $100 cancellation fee they charge for cancellations less than 24 hours prior to (despite it being their fault) so I have to dispute the charge now with the credit card. Terrible customer service!

Cost far exceeded quote. Charged for full tank of gas, used a little less than 3/4. Car worn. No representatives on return. Likely allowing them to fleece us. A terrible decline in quality and service

Cons:

When we got there they did not have our truck. Two others had reservations for trucks as well. The lady said she didn't know when they might get any trucks...why was the reservation allowed to be booked if no trucks? Bait and switch at its finest. Never renting from Avis again.

Easy pickup and drop off!

Cons:

Car was not as clean as I expected it to be. Windshield was dirty on the inside and it wasn’t vacuumed very good. Kind of felt funny turning it in in that condition even though I only rented it for 2 days and only drove it on of them.
