There were 5 people In line. It took 2 hours to get to the desk. Many employees came in and saw the back up but instead of helping the customers, they chatted with other employees and chatted with the only person behind the counter, slowing the process even more. The vehicle was very dirty. The mileage on my paper work said the vehicle had 200k miles when it only had 150k on the odometer. The paper work said the gas was at 3/4 of a tank. The vehicle actually only had 1/4 tank. The A/C knobs were broken. The steering wheel was sticky and there was dirt of the passenger seat and trash on the floor in the back.

Forced charges for insurance. Lied about tolls. Upcharges were more than the rental with no option. Agent recommended we rent from a major company next time.
Way off sight, takes at least 20 minutes after waiting 20 minutes. The place smells like a morgue

Terrible. I drove all the way there and they told me because I am a Florida resident I will have significant additional fees and a 60 mile limit on mileage. Ridiculous waste of my time.
Total as per contract should be 168, they asked for additional 483 $ at the counter. Total scam!

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS AGENCY Was a total scam, said that the price I paid was only a deposit, yet my receipt and rental details say 7 day rental no mention of any outstanding balance required at agency. $1850 USD to be paid and a $2000 USD deposit. 3 groups of people came and left with similar issues during my short encounter with them. Shameful

Forced to purchase additional insurance, even though I purchased insurance through Kayak and also have my own that covers me in the USA. Would have been cheaper and more accommodating to pay the higher rental rates at the airport, rather than wait almost an 1/2 hour for the shuttle, 15 min drive to place, 1/2 hr at the desk, then 15 min drive back to pick up wife, disabled child and all the luggage and items that comes with having a disable child. (Wheelchair, Commode). To top it off, they didn't have the size of vehicle I prepaid for an reserved. For the timing part, I will take it as a Live an Learn, but I would HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND this place for rentals.
Good service, clean car. But... I paid a security deposit of $250. I returned the car on January 6. Today is January 11, but they still haven't returned the deposit of $250 to me!!!

BEWARE!! SCAM OUTFIT!! Stay away from this rental service. I leased a car for family members flying in from Seattle, paying in advance thru booking.com.for car and for “Full” insurance policy. When they got to the counter the Agent said they were “required” to purchase additional insurance that was vastly higher than the amount I already paid and that the daily car price was even higher. They added several bogus charges on top of that. My relatives were given no choice but to pay the nearly triple amount or be shuttled back to the airport and start over with another company. They were not alone. The woman next to them was in tears from the same treatment. STAY AWAY!!!

I reserved this as a referral from Kayak to Rentalcars.com. Their website, along with the confirmation email stated a "Total Cost" of $111.72. When I picked up the car, the agent presented me with "additional local costs" amounting to an additional $71.18. This included an unheard of "Pickup Fee" for $10.00 and "Dropoff Fee" for $10.00. I have never been charged these from any rental agency, anywhere in the world prior to this. None of these "additional local" charges were listed anywhere before pickup. The contract stated "Total Cost" of $111.72, and that's what I expected. In addition, the $250.00 "security deposit" has not been refunded or credited to my credit card as of yet. I have tried all morning to reach the agency to inquire about this. They answered only after about 30 minutes of putting me on hold. The representative could not give me any reasonable answers about the additional charges, but said the security deposit would take 5-10 business days. I will monitor that. Please remove Global Car Rental from your list of agencies. They have committed what I believe is a classic case of Bait and Switch.

Kayak makes u think you’re getting a great deal but when you get to the rental spot they charge u all this extra fees and bullshit even when you have full coverage to begin with. The shuttle process is slow even though they say they run “every 10 minutes” … better off just booking legit through a real company.

I’ve rented hundreds of cars from many different car rental companies, but Zezgo takes the cake for the absolute WORST experience ever. While I understand they’re a budget rental company, it doesn’t cost money to treat people like actual human beings. They have deceptive business practices and try to charge you for so many additional fees that they never told you about upfront. Kayak needs to end this partnership asap…just look at their reviews. They have a 1.1 out of 5 star rating on Trust Pilot. Do better kayak!

Terrible experience. They refused to accept my insurance card, despite my calling GEICO and having them send a binder that explicitly stated it covered ALL RENTAL CARS. The agent, Patricia was polite and I do believe she tried, but it is crazy(and I believe illegal) to require you pay for your own liability insurance that is mandated by law, anyway... But to refuse to accept valid insurance and insist on charging a large amount in order to rent is completely unethical(and likely illegal). I had to get an Uber to another rental place after spending more than an hour there. The shuttle was courteous and Patricia was polite and respectful even as she complimented the policies that I understand were not hers

If you live in Florida and rent a car in Florida they’ll put a 2K hold in your cc and you have 100miles per day limit. So, you have an extra fee for unlimited miles, unlimited tolls plus the hold. If this is your escenario (live and rent to use in Florida) I don’t recommend them.

This is horrible. Do not use this group. I paid for the rental, when I got there, they did not have the vehicle I paid for. They were not able to help or answer any questions. Do not use this place you will be very disappointed.

They charged me hidden fees. I had to agree with their terms in order to rent a car at the counter because i needed a car.. I prepaid car rental when i booked it through Kayak. They charged me additional $102.08 for 2 days rental when I get there. I called customer service afterwards but they all had heavy accents and could not communicate. It’s a scam. I want refund of $102.08.
