Pros: THe staff was super friendly
Pros: The bed was like a cloud
Cons: the carpet in the room had stains on it
Pros: Great breakfast at onsite restaurant
Cons: Property is more interested in hosting events than being a boutique hotel. For both nights we couldn’t find parking due to the 2 fashion/media industry events (?) where attenddees occupied all parking spots, including grass lawns. We also couldn’t get to the room without wading through crowds of people, so we took the stairs—-but the stairwell to second floor was blocked with boxes and trash from the party. So for $1500/night....way overpriced.
Pros: Clean - Staff - privacy - private garden - feels like private home.
Cons: The road right next to it... cars, trucks and ambulance all the time, must keep windows close - no late room service(9pm)
Cons: Little atmosphere, pool by busy road, nice but definitely not worth the high rates
Pros: It's very nice but very overpriced
Cons: The breakfast menu mostly contained egg dishes / they need more if a variety for breakfast / change it daily
Pros: From the studio room to the JG restaurant the place is top notch in every way. Will be back next year.
Cons: Front desk service and maid service could be better.
Pros: Rooms in the main house are very comfortable and location central for visiting the Hamptons. Jean Georges restaurant excellent.
Cons: Music in breakfast room highly inappropriate (club like) and too loud. Noise from main road loud but not much they can do to mitigate.
Pros: I loved our bungalo! The champagne was free, the goodies in the room were abundant and free as well. We didn't eat in the restaurant, but ordered room service. I'm certain we would have had a better dining experience had we dined there. But honestly the food was fine. The bungalo was contemporary and nice and quiet and we had our own private yard. I might bring my dog next time!
Cons: Not much at all. Everything was lovely.
Pros: Great room in main house Attentive service Attractive maid who can keep a secret
Cons: Very expensive on the weekends.
This charming hotel is set in East Hampton. The total number of bedrooms is 67. Pets are not allowed at Baron's Cove Inn.
Pros: Quiet and very comfortable
Pros: It was only a short walk into town. The room was comfortable and clean. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. The restaurant has amazing views over the harbour.
Pros: I got in for a night at less than $400 less than a normal stay. Place was really nice.
Pros: Very nice location, very nice accommodations -
Cons: Had a problem with the TV - the signal - maintenance did come and change the batteries in the remote but it did not help with the signal.
Pros: The attention to small details in service: pool attendants asking to refill my water, free yoga in the morning, housekeeping coming around in the afternoon to see if I needed more towels or water.
Cons: I wish breakfast was included with all bookings.
Cons: We were a little early for season so missed out on the daily (complimentary) yoga
Pros: Cute and trendy hotel with nice rooms walking distance to town
Cons: Very very poor customer service. Extremely rude and offensive front desk staff. Room was not ready an hour and 20 minutes past check in time and they offered no apology or explanation. They did not even offer us a glass of water, or a seat in the lobby
Pros: Great location, charming atmosphere, friendly staff, good restaurant. Hamtons are beautiful.
Pros: location and views
Pros: The hotel was very cute and charming. I would love to come back in the Summer and take advantage of the free bikes and swimming pool
Pros: Bed was comfortable
Cons: Restaurant was terrible. Location too far from town. No care that I needed to leave because o my mother died. Most of the staff could care less about there jobs.
With a stay at White Fences Inn in Water Mill, you'll be by the ocean, within a 10-minute drive of Cooper's Beach and Parrish Art Museum. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: Working table in the room
Cons: The ceiling height was barely above my head, I hit my head upon entering the bathroom. The floors are very squeaky. The hotel is very close to the main road and very noisy. I'm 6 ft tall
Pros: The breakfast in the mornings were superb. The accommodation fantastic. The owners and staff delightful. The location was perfect. Swimming pool was not an option based on the time of year but then again a swimming pool is not what we would have used on this type of trip.
Pros: Like other reviewers have said, the breakfast was just amazing. I loved that our room was cleaned while we were eating breakfast. The first time, she was almost done when we went up to our room, the second time it was completed before we even got back to our room. We stayed in the Halsey Suite and it was perfect for us. This property is absolutely incredible, and Liz and Eric are incredible hosts.
Pros: The owners Liz and Eric are the nicest people, the home made breakfast, our room was large, clean and beautiful!
Located in Bridgehampton, Bridgehampton Inn is a 3-minute drive from Wolffer Estates Vineyard and 7 minutes from Mecox Bay. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Inn was lovely...no elevator to rooms upstairs which were much nicer so we stayed in ADA room on lower level. No phone...parking lot views
Cons: No phone in room
Pros: Wonderful staff, Cerene goes out of her way to make guests comfortable. Gorgeous and comfortable rooms. Delicious food - we had a pleasure of having both breakfast and dinner and both were excellent. Wineo’clock is a wonderful perk!
Pros: Lovely Inn. Great beds, pillows and sheets. Great A/C. Great location right in the center of Bridgehampton.
When you stay at 380 Inn in Wainscott, you'll be near the beach, within a 5-minute drive of Wolffer Estates Vineyard and Children's Museum of The East End. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The staff was friendly and eager to make sure we were happy.
Pros: The owners were incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout my stay.
Pros: Good price compared to other similar places in the area. A bit dated but clean and fine. Beach passes available for use.
Cons: The pool was closed while we were there which was a bummer. Wish I had known that in advance.
Pros: Price Location
Cons: Run down Dirty Poor maintenance
Cons: Price, im only here to fish.
Cons: Too much surveillance
Pros: Friendly reception. Nice towels.
Cons: Don't be fooled by the high price. This is very basic lodging. Wonky mattresses, neglected outside (dirty plastic chairs, ashtrays, garbage), close to the main thoroughfare, super basic bathroom, shaky door lock.
Pros: No breakfast. Nice pool. Owners are fantastic people!
Cons: All good.
Pros: Ver y nice rustic looking, the affordable price
Pros: The staff and owners are so nice! Id definitely revisit!
Pros: The quiet ness, very spacious room, beds comfy , pillows etc. nice place . Definitely gonna book there whenever I go out to Montauk , 30 minute drive from Montauk :
Pros: I liked how everything was set up! The place was beautiful and the style of the rooms was super cool.
Cons: The pool had some issues? It was being cleaned a lot while I was there but that’s about it
When you stay at Forever Bungalows in East Hampton, you'll be next to a golf course, within a 5-minute drive of Sag Harbor State Golf Course and Old Whaler's Church. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The staff were incredibly friendly and on point. Super helpful with suggestions of places to eat and visit.
Cons: It's a great location but a little on the pricier side. On Booking.com, it said it was pet friendly, however, I was not made aware (until I checked in) that there is an extra $100+ deposit for a dog. The shower was also a bit weird, it was only partially enclosed by glass and there was no curtain or door to keep the rest of the water in.
Pros: The room was huge! There was an outdoor grill, fire pit, picnic table and a lovely view of the woods.
Cons: Liked everything.
Pros: It was the least expensive place I could find on eastern Long Island. The town of Sag Harbor was expensive but OK. There's a nice free beach at Montauk and the ocean was ideal in many ways. The service workers in Montauk were very nice once I treated them with friendly respect. The sculpture museum near Water Mill was very enjoyable
Cons: I'll never go to the Hamptons again as the traffic in NYC is absolutely horrendous. The tolls are confiscatory. Just to get on the beach would have cost $18. Everything is too expensive and you get charged a fee for anything(except Montauk Beach). Even traffic in the small towns is backed up everywhere.
Pros: The check in was easy, and the room was very clean.
Cons: My sister and I (and our dog) planned one night in Sag Harbor at the end of our road trip. Upon check in, we were informed that the pet policy that was described as “may be additional fees” was actually $100 for the night. The room was tiny but clean; however there were weird privacy issues, such as an uncovered window in the shower that allowed unobstructed views from the second floor balcony next door. Also, the walls were very thin, and apparently we were abutted by two party groups - one of which included a drunk girl returning at 3:20 am and banging on her door for 10 minutes (predictable reaction from our dog). We walked to town for coffee in the morning, but it’s located on a busy street (even on a Sunday) and the sidewalk doesn’t cover the entire stretch. Potentially, we were just not a great fit; ideal for younger groups of friends just looking for a place to crash.
Cons: The bathroom door didnt close, the tv wouldnt work and there were a million spiders . The employees were very nice and as helpful as possible. Not really any property to hang out at except a parking lot.
Pros: Clean, comfy and close to where we wanted to be
Cons: We struggled to get the tv working but got there in the end...a minor detail
Cons: The staff was rude. The shower had no water pressure. The television and wifi didn't work. There was no telephone in the room to even contact the front desk. The bathroom window has a see through blind that employees could see in while we were showering. All in all terrible space that we would never stay in again.
Pros: Do yourself a favor: stay away from this hotel! It is awful!
Cons: Everything. It feels like a roadside tent for workers.
Pros: The room was clean and there was thoughtful attention to detail.
