Nothing Car was dirty took me 45 min to clean it during COVID esp unacceptable previous contract was in glove compartment that says alot drop off was closed for 3 mos had to go to airport as a last resortCons:

Company has hidden fees and charges your not made aware of until days after you return the vehicle, like not being able to cross state lines. If I knew ahead of time I would not have rented here and won't ever again. Shady and sneaky.10.0 Wonderful

Cons:
Did not honor my reservation and did not have a car available for me to rent when I arrived. Made no effort to call me before they gave the car I reserved to someone else. Staff were inconsiderate and lack basic customer service skills. Went to Sixt on RT 34 and was able to rent a car there and treated like a customer should be. Don;t waste your time at this facility.Thrifty

The only positive thing about my experience with Alamo was that the car was clean.Cons:
They didn’t give me the size of vehicle promised even though I paid extra and then when I returned the car they attempted to charge me $60 more than my quote and I had to argue with them in order to be charged the quote given. I will never use Alamo again.10.0 Wonderful

Not sure why I had to pay 22 on kayak and then the whole rental amount at the rental agency. I was under the impression I was paying some “due now” and would pay the rest at pick up. Kayak, please explain?10.0 Wonderful

Car interior needed a more thorough cleaning, but I like everything really clean. Car indicator said it was due for maintenance and oil change. It was a newer model and we had no issues while driving.4.4 Mediocre

Cons:
We had a situation arise where we needed to return the car a day early and found very little flexibility from the Budget location where we dropped off. Customer service was also not helpful in finding us a solution without charging us a $200 one way fee for a situation out of our control. Luckily the location we did go to to return the car a day early was understanding. Kudos to the Logan Airport location.Avis

I chose Avis after I missed getting to New Haven in time to pick up my car from Hertz. Hertz told me I would have to pay $170 more if I picked up the car the next day, plus I would have had to Uber around until then. Avis had a car for almost the same price I had originally been paying with Hertz, their office was right in the train station, and they were open 2 hours later than Hertz! Reserved and picked up the car within minutes. It was a Toyota Corolla and worked great! Everything from checkin to checkout was smooth sailing. I’m going with Avis from now on whenever possible.AutoEurope
