Perfect location! Everything was in walking distance. I loved the self check in/out station. Staff was very friendly and helpful! Rooms were nice although a little small. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting.

Pros (+) The design of the hotel was really cool, and the rooms, while small, were super efficient. This is like European travel, smaller rooms but you realize you don’t need a ton of extra guest room space.
Cons (-) My only complaint was not being able to truly control the temperature of the room. I never felt like I really was able to make a difference in the temp of my room.

Pros (+) The rooms are little pods, but really fine for the price. Very clean. They are having issues with the some of the iPads that control room temp, lights, etc, but assured me this was a temporary glitch, as this was a new batch. The lobby is amazing and the location stellar. The staff might be the nicest and friendliest of any hotel I've ever stayed in. Inexpensive and tasty buffet breakfast at commu...
Cons (-) Just the iPad situation, and that was very minor compared to all the positives. The controls were still functional, so no real problem on my end. Just had to frequently reboot.

Pros (+) This was a revelation. I highly recommend this hotel as a solo traveler. It reminds me of the very small but well laid-out hotel rooms I've been to in Europe and Tokyo. Pros (+) Exactly what I needed for a one night business trip. Room is compact, but designed to be so, and spotlessly clean. Has a great location, fast wifi, brilliant communal spaces for getting out the laptop, and it took less than a minute to check in and out.

Pros (+) Private rooftop bar and cozy lobby hangout space. European style breakfast lounge and 24 hr snack pantry. Room was small (though big for New York!) yet thoughtfully laid out with clever use of space. Fun/funky upscale low key vibe just perfect. Midtown location excellent for exploring NYC and checking out theatre scene. Daily complimentary bottled water. Friendly, helpful staff
Cons (-) If you pay for your breakfasts when you check in you save a couple bucks vs. paying on day of. I can understand that you'd want to have an estimate of how many diners they will be but, come on, this felt a little nickel and dime-y when everything else was so seamless.

Pros (+) definitely a different style hotel but we still loved the concept. staff was very friendly. we would definitely stay here again.
Cons (-) since there wasn't any superfluous people like bell boys or concierge desks, I wish I saw a lil more savings and value in the price to stay here.
