Anonymous, Aug 2025 - Residence Inn by Marriott New York Manhattan/Times Square
First room was not clean (odor in refrigerator), hole in wall, door jamb crooked so had to really pull and push room door, zero lamps in room so it was very dim and drab. Moved rooms which was a little better but that room bathroom toilet seat was nearly broken (had to call twice to get it fixed), bathroom door did not shut completely, and throughout our stay we never got enough towels (we put 4 p...

Dorothy, Jul 2025 - Residence Inn by Marriott New York Manhattan/Central Park
We have stayed here at least once a year--since 2018. During 2021-23, when a family member lived and worked in NYC, we stayed at this hotel about 4-5 times per year. The pros: an absolutely great location, comfortable rooms and a good free breakfast. The cons are the uneven nature of what a guest receives. Sometime we receive a very nice room (without asking). A few times, however, they have place...

The bed and pillows were super comfortable. The room was properly cleaned and had a great look. They had an abundance of breakfast items available for the guests. Extremely happy with the stay.

Thomas, Oct 2018 - Residence Inn by Marriott New York Downtown Manhattan/World Trade Center Area
Pros (+) Polite service orientated staff
Cons (-) Unfortunately in spite of the staff being apologetic and polite, the actual quality of most services was sub-par for a Marriott. We stayed 4 days and the talk was kind and great but the product was below expectations. significantly.

Anonymous, Aug 2018 - Residence Inn by Marriott New York Manhattan/Central Park
Pros (+) Easy walk to Central Park, museums, Lincoln center and shows. Quiet room on 59th floor. Good AC.
Cons (-) Room had trash from former guest when we moved in. Housekeeping came only when asked; then barged in without knocking later in the day. Safe did not work. We were given an accessible room that we did not ask for and water from shower went all over the floor.

douglas, Jul 2018 - Residence Inn by Marriott New York Manhattan/Midtown East
Pros (+) well located and quick access transportation and shopping.
Cons (-) Staff was ok. Nothing to go above an beyond. Dirty plates and glasses were taken away but not replaced with new ones, which after a couple of days, you run out. Mirror was left dirty a few days as well.
