Corena, Mar 2025 - The Time New York
The hotel is very stylish and high-tech! I felt well-taken care of. The room is stocked with a lot of nice snacks & drinks, but it would have been nice to have a coffee maker, especially since the cafe on the property is currently closed. But overall, I’m quite pleased!

FIND ANOTHER HOTEL. When I complained to the front desk that the stopper in my tub wasn't working, I was told repairs would be made, but may not work. The staff member added, "THE BUILDING WILL BE TORN DOWN NEXT YEAR." That explained why the shabby condition of the entire hotel was far below Hyatt standards. It's a great location and the staff is responsive, but management has clearly given up on ...

Lonnie, Oct 2024 - Hyatt Grand Central New York
The location and service were great, everything else was far below Hyatt standards. Some facilities in my room didn't work. I specifically requested a room with a tub. The stopper didn't function, so the tub couldn't fill. Someone repaired it - with no change. I asked for another room - SAME PROBLEM. A person at the front desk told me some repairs can't or won't be made because "the hotel will be ...

Konstantine, Dec 2023 - Thompson Central Park - New York
Loved the location and ease to walk to everything or take the subway which was close by. The hotel property and rooms were very clean and well appointed. Room on the small side, particularly the bathroom. Housekeeping came up in a flash when I requested something and staff overall were pleasant and helpful. Best part, having the Burger Joint inside the hotel lobby! A burger speakeasy behind the bi...

Didn’t like the service and the hotel has mildews on the ceiling.

Had a great experience at The Kimberly. The rooftop breakfast was a highlight for sure. For the money we spent i would have liked all of the sink and bathtub drains to work properly. There are also some finishings in the rooms that need work, mainly the crown molding. The building has an older look and feel, which could be updated just by some detail work and cleaning. But the staff was impeccable...

Cons (-) Our room was rough. Torn wallpaper, threadbare carpet, lights didn’t work right, etc... All said and done, we booked the room for a total of $375/night but in our opinion, not worth more than $200/night.

Pros (+) Pretty standard hotel. Nothing outstanding about the hotel. The location is great and convenient to just about anything in New York
Cons (-) The housekeeping department was bad. I called three times for towels one evening. They never came. Had to get them off the cart the next day. Question I asked at front desk and concierge kept getting passed around.
