Cons: "It was HOT. We and other passengers told the flight attendants about the heat but nothing really changed. The air circulation was poor and people were sweating on the plane. Because of this, it was stale and smelly. I'm not sure why the circulation on their plane was so poor but it really made the flight more difficult than it should have been. I thought it was a one time issue but it was also hot on the flight back as well."

I found the male stewards on this flight a lot more helpful I'm not saying the women weren't as well. Gender balance is good. Overall everytime I have flown Korean Air the service has been exceptionally pleasant and I feel confident and safe. Knock on wood I hope they keep striving for excellence and not lose it along the way like so many other airlines over the years."

Softer lighting be a little bit more comforting to the eyes, besides don't each seat have its own light source if extra lighting is needed!"

About an hour from Korea, about 3 a.m. we were awakened by the brightening cabin lights and served a full dinner. It was a nice gesture; my connecting flight was more than 18 hours later and the dinner helped with both time change syndrome and with hunger pangs. KAL was also very helpful with my change of schedule; I was returning to the US for medical needs including unexpected surgery recommended by my Asian physician, on a schedule to meet needs of my US physician, KAL is definitely a first class outfit, and has proved it with every flight I've taken."

Japan Airlines should have done better incorporated with other codeshare airlines (JetBlue) to make sure our reservation doesn’t get mess up and that’s one of the reason why we stayed in Newyork for the whole day to wait for the next flight. Could have been much better experience but it wasn’t and worse. My flight got delayed in Newyork causing us to miss out our flight on the outbound from Narita to Vietnam. On the way back, the agent from JP airlines messed up our reservation and separate our name into 2 different reservations making us running around to figure out how to get the boarding pass for my partner which is ridiculous.
Had not flied in a while. Overall ok. But it is frustrating when there are multiple fingers in the equation. Jim

Pros: "The flight never occurred. The first leg of my flight from Ho Chi Minh was cancelled and I was not informed. I discovered this when I went to check in. I called Kayak to resolve this since I had confirmation of the booking and was placed on hold. After 2 HOURS I hung up. At roughly 4:00 am I spoke with someone at Kayak who confirmed the flight was cancelled and that I was not contacted. An offer was made to put me on another flight a day later but that was impossible because of needing another Covid test. I was able to arrange another flight that was more expensive."

They served us with a cup of Haagen-Dazs icecream for dessert while a Fatboy is normally served by other airlines. I was impressed by how spacious the foot area of their economy seat is. Because I felt quite comfortable, I slept five hours straight during the flight which is phenomenal to me. I will definitely fly with JAL again!"

We had a family traveling to SFO without wearing masks and I have to repeatedly request the flight attendants to ask them to wear their masks. It included elder people to children coughing and sneezing and my seating was amidst them. I had to request the attendant to find me an alternate seating, which turned out to be less comfortable, but better than my allotted seat.
Doha to Lax, airplane food was bland and pretty bad

Meal preferences was good - I'm a vegetarian and on the onward journey forgot to specify the meal preference but the crew had enough inventory to meat the requirements. 3. Every seat was provided with a small plastic pouch/packet/goodie bag that consisted of a eye mask (very thoughtful), pair of sock, toothpaste+brush (very thoughtful), hand cream. This was very useful and effective. 4. Entertainment - options were good and current."

Not sure if this is something to do with the browser (tried with Firefox, Opera) 2. It would have been good, as part of the online check-in, if the users reminded to specify the meal preferences, etc. I forgot to specify the meal preferences but thankfully the crew had enough of what I wanted. 3. Take a relook at the packaging of the toothpaste tube in the goodie bag. It was sealed in such a way that it was difficult to open it w/o a sharp object. This should have been easier. 4. Seats were the worst part - poor legroom. Worst, the seat cushion is the worst. I think it was just a fabric over a metal seat with minimalist of cushion. ATL to DOH leg was the worst (and the longest leg of the trip). Unless you have open seats next to you it would be a back breaking and painful trip. Seat comfort wise, I would rate Qatar as the worst. Luckily on the return leg (DOH-ATL) next two seats to mine was empty, so was able to stretch and sleep well. DOH-MAA or MAA-DOH seating was little better (think its a older plane; newer planes have worst seats) 5. The website was damn slow while accessing from overseas. Even in the US, at times the website hangs-up, freezes or spins often. 6. Food was ok -dinner and lunch but minimalistic; I didnt see any specific breakfast menu or any coffee served separately (was part of beverage option during lunch or dinner) 7. There was no alert, communication, notification, reminder of upcoming trip via email or text, etc. Many airlines does this very often but Qatar was totally silent on it (they did have my email during checkin). Not sure why."

Pros: "HA is flying an Airbus A3231 Neo between Oakland and Maui. It's a single-aisle aircraft. The economy section is more comfortable than any other aircraft I've flown. Not dramatically different, but the little things add up. Back support in the seats are vastly improved. Under-seat storage is actually usable for a change. Overhead bins are capacious and easily accessible. Great choice!"

Cons: "The baggage took almost an hour to be retrieved. Specifically the staff was inadequate to unload baggage. The last things to be returned were all of the car seats, meaning the already late flight for families waited over an hour to leave the airport."

Cons: "Arrived late due to an accident on the road. In Kauai, there is some kind of policy where they shut down the road for 3 hours if there's a bad accident. There's only one road to the airport from the north to the south shore. We were stuck due to this and therefore barely made it on time. We tried to explain this to the staff and asked if they could get us through quicker or check us in so we wouldn't miss the flight, and they just said we were out of luck. Weren't helpful at all. After having to scan our bags a second time by the airline (after TSA), we were dead last in line, and were told we lost our seats because we didn't check in on time. Therefore we were seated apart, and I was put further back in the plane very close to the pregnant woman with gas and the babies who screamed the entire flight. I had a window seat originally and lost it due to no fault of my own. Someone else was also sitting in my newly assigned seat and when I asked the staff to help us sort it out, they actually asked me to move since he was with his wife. After getting on the plane, we were forced to check our bags that we just got on with and it was a major hold up for everyone trying to get seated. Then, after landing, exhausted, and ready to go home, we had to wait for the bags to come out of the checked baggage claim area. We waited 1 hour and 10 minutes to get our bags because they were dead last and there was some issue with the conveyor belt. This is really poor planning on their part and made the trip even more unenjoyable. To top it off, my girlfriend left her phone on the plane and it was turned in to the staff. When we drove an hour back to get it the next day we were able, we were turned away because they have some new and separate office that is only open during obscure hours that the staff weren't even aware of. We are still trying to figure out how to get the phone back and have called several numbers telling us to call other numbers. It shouldn't be this difficult. I know the phone is in there somewhere. Lastly, food was gross. Don't think airlines will ever get this right. It'd be better to just serve quality mixed greens salads as you don't have to microwave them and they'd be fresh."
Pros: "I missed the Kahului flight so my second leg started in Honolulu. Pilot aborted the take off half way down the runway. Said there was an indication light that said the brakes had heated up and it would be 15 minutes to let them cool. Then said we would have go back to gate, saying it would be a little longer. These "little longer" efforts went on for just short of 3 hours! When we got in on the other end the gate was unavailable and we were forced to wait another hour on the ground there. 9 FREAKING hours in that plane next to gal and her toddler in her lap... bummer for me, but this poor gal missed her connection to CLEVELAND... gave me a perspective of what REALLY SUCKS."

Cons: "Didn't like the complimentary "stir fry" chicken and rotten cabbage salad. Guess they had to give it away cause if you paid for it you would want a refund and a barf bag. No movies anymore? I guess we were spoiled by Alaskans free wifi and downloads from their app on the flight there. But if there was any entertainment we couldn't have heard if over the crying children. The attendants were sour pusses, not a smile among them. They gave attitude with their service. I kind of felt their pain with the 15-20 screaming toddlers that were uncomfortable and begging for help. How about getting rid of the first class area and making a day care area where children can move about rather than parents up and down the aisles sharing the misery with us all. Didn't have the courtesy to alert us to our baggage terminal. I don't think I will ever get used to paying for my small bag to be stowed rather than fill up the passenger area."
Pros: "The staff of Hawaiian offered us drinks (more than once), a snack and a meal. The leg room was generous and bathrooms clean and we'll stocked."

Pros: "Performed as expected without any thrills flying us back to OAK from Maui, Hawaii. Gate personnel's'attentiveness and tagging of roller-board luggage expedited boarding, and minimized wasted time and attempts to jam luggage into the plane's smaller overhead bins. Well done!"
Cons: "Inexperienced flying passengers pulling on the back of my seat each time she got up to use the lavatory. Observing timid passengers trying to eat during food service while the the row in front them had their seats fully reclined. Fellow flyers need to be more cognizant of simple courtesy and etiquette while flying."

Cons: "My wife has a broken ankle. They were disorganized boarding the folks who needed assistance and getting them off the plane. There were several people in wheelchairs so maybe they were overwhelmed but they should have done better."
Pros: "The flight was very smooth (kudos to the Pilot). The dinner was delicious (best I've had on Hawaiian Airlines). Most of the crew members were very kind and courteous. Even friendly to the crying kids. Loved the selection of entertainment that was readily available. That definitely helped with the long flight."

They ignored the customers and only concerned about talking with each other and taking 2 rows of seats to sleep. I WILL NEVER TAKE HAWAIINAIRLINES AGAIN, is the only thing I could think of my entire flight. Not friendly when handing out drinks or food. Better service getting breakfast in jail."

At the airport in Maui, once we used the self-check-in to print our boarding passes and luggage check-in tags other airlines would have had someone take you luggage from you and you're done. Here, we now have to take our luggage and get into a long line where we then take it to another counter. 2. Why were there twice as many people in the TSA pre-check line as in the regular line? My son and his GF did not have TSA pre-check, yet they went through security much faster than my wife & I. 3. Seats too narrow. I was snugly fit in, and I had to stand in order to get something out of my front pant's pocket. 4. Not enough legroom and no way to stretch my leg (and my very painful knee). We sat in row 17. It was right side bulkhead on 2-3-2 configuration. There was no way to stretch out my knee. The configuration of the inside of the aircraft placed the bulkhead wall too close to the seat. My leg was at about 70 degrees the entire flight (0 degrees is completely straight). Notably, the same row on the left side of the plane had about another 12 inches of leg-room. That's just the way the plane was configured. 5. No WiFi 6. Entertainment device rip-off. I wasn't interested in renting an entertainment device, but I was offended by their offer. If you signed up for it at the desk before boarding you would pay $15 and would get the device 20 minutes after take-off. If you waited until you were on the plane you would pay $17. The worse part: YOU WOULDN'T GET THE DEVICE UNTIL 2 HOURS INTO THE FLIGHT!!!"

Cons: "So cold! I asked 4 times for the temperature to be adjusted. Each time the crew member said that the temp was adjusted, and it would be getting warmer. Let me be clear: IT NEVER GOT WARMER! Furthermore, Hawaiian Airlines had the nerve to charge econ seats $10 per blanket. Even for babies! And we even heard a toddler say, "Mom, it's sooooo cold!""

(it's a long flight) Being able to buy a half bottle of red wine. The humor of the gate attendant during and after we boarded was a treat. It was a fully booked flight but managed to avoid that pushy, hectic atmosphere while boarding and after. Very peaceful, easy flight along the lines of what Virgin and Jet Blue introduced a decade ago. The flight ended up feeling like part of the vacation. Will always choose Hawaiian in the future."

Cons: "For some reason, the pilot couldn't figure out how to adjust the cabin temperature for the first hour or so. This made the flight (and I was sitting in an exit row seat, right by the door which is usually cooler) uncomfortably hot and muggy. Food? No food. Thank goodness for Delta Lounge (even if it was the one in PHL). Just snacks make this a poor option for many. I don't know what is up, but the USB charger on the two monitors didn't work and neither did the outlet between the seats. And I have two different sets of cables "just in case" and they're the 3-in-1 so I can try to charge multiple devices (Apple, Android and Samsung) but nothing worked."

Ten days prior to the flight I called AeroMexico to cancel and they said there would be a cancellation penalty, which was fine. When I tried to redeem my credit, they said there was also an additional "No-show fee" even though I called to cancel 10 days prior, which left a total of $70 credit after all their penalties. I called and emailed to complain but they did nothing but pass me to someone else who was equally unhelpful. I will never fly AeroMexico for any reason in the future."

I was almost knocked over in the rush. -The onboard staff was nice enough. However, between the two of them, one of them had a thick accent. Maybe that one shouldn’t be the one making all on board announcements… and please fix the horrendous crackles too!!! -It seemed our pilot was in training… during our short flight a series of right and left turns were made, no effort to avoid turbulence, and the landing was surprisingly hard. It felt as if my spine took a quick jab to my brain as a result! What’s up?"

Cons: "The 45 minute wait in the Sky Priority lane to drop off baggage. The flight was delayed because of weather and then their scheduling system crashed. Had to wait for a pilot. When we finally boarded at 5 we got peanuts in first class. That was worth the mileage upgrade. Upon landing there was a 1/2 wait on the tarmac to get a gate. That same plane, upon taking off back to DTW blew a tire upon take-off, had to do an emergency landing and everyone had to spend the night in NOLA after being delayed all day."
