Cons: "I could not check in and pay for my second bag at the kiosk. I had to wait in the very long ticketing line to get help. Also, it was not clear that the international flight flew from the AA terminal and not from the International terminal where Iberia flies from...I had to walk to the AA terminal with all my bags which was stressful since I was dropped off at the international terminal which made sense as it was an international flight and the ticket did not say it was flying from the AA terminal only that it was operated by AA.."

I was also seated across from a woman who didn't realize how stupid it was to bring a toddler on a 12 hour flight, and he screamed pretty much the entire time. I couldn't sleep at all and not even headphones drowned it out. That part wasn't really the airline's fault though, and I could see that the flight attendants were asking her several times to get her son to quiet down. I just wish there were regulations on these sorts of situations. Everyone around you suffers when you bring a small child on a very long flight because they will inevitably be bored, cranky and uncomfortable, and because we are confined to our seats, we are forced to suffer through it all. I wish that children under a certain age would not be allowed to board flights over a certain length of time except for special circumstances."

I agree with the call from the Captain. It's a pity that the poor quality of service team in LAX (probably 1-2 individuals) caused tremendous inconvenience to passengers and crew."

Lastly, these delays caused the plane to arrive in Tokyo at 12:30AM (originally it was 10:30PM). All transportations options were closed. I had to take a $90 USD taxi fare into the city. JAL or AA should have given travel vouchers to everyone who needed them. BAD SERVICE, BAD COMMUNICATIONS, BAD RATING."

Two trips in a row, two weeks apart, they’ve done the same thing to us. Cons: "It was myself, my wife, and our 18 month old son. The trip was a complete disaster. The first delay was from 12 noon to 7:30 pm because the plane was unavailable. We left the airport and returned at 6 pm for the 7:30 pm departure. The plane was "available." We checked our bags, found our way to the gate, and eventually boarded "ontime." Instead of taking off, however, we sat on board the plane at the gate for 2 hours as work was being done. The work was first called "maintenance," then "a small error code." The captain teased us by saying "folks, just a few more minutes and we should be departing." The crew nourished us with a dixie sized cups of water and Chex mix. Then finally the airline gave up and deplaned everyone. Once deplaned, it was explained to us that they couldn't clear the error code, so they couldn't use that plane. But there was another plane coming from Las Vegas to use so that we could expect a departure around 12 midnight. 12 midnight rolls around. Nothing. 12:30 am. 1 am. Finally, a plane arrives. But then the airline holds us up yet again - turns out we can't depart after all because the arriving airport shuts down at 2 am. Gee, they didn't know that before making us wait another 3 hours??? Now they're offering a refund to anybody who wants one, as well as a hotel for the night and the promise of a flight at 2:30 pm the following day. At this point, many of us are looking up alternative flights to Eugene and even Portland. A $1,000 extra for us. We're not sure whether we can trust Allegiant to have an actual plane ready to go the next day. And we're too tired at that point to even ask why the next flight would be at 2:30 pm rather than first thing in the morning. So finally we line up to get a hotel voucher and find our way to the hotel. It takes over an hour to checkin at the hotel because it's the middle of the night and 150 people just showed up to checkin. We finally get to our room at about 3:30 am. I'm amazed at how well our toddler held up sitting on an airplane for 2 hours, sitting at the airport for about 6 hours, and waiting to fall asleep all night. We eventually made it back to the airport the following afternoon and, praise the lord, made it to our destination. Allegiant - NEVER AGAIN!"

Since we were traveling with only a carry on, it was a good price after all the "frills" were added (pay for carry on, pay to select seat). we still had a price lower than any other airline. So all in all, once we got on the plane it was a pleasant experience."

As we taxied towards the runway a lady who felt dizzy coming on board threw up. The crew was obviously panicked and unorganized. We taxied back to our gate and waited for LA Fire for. to escort the ill lady off and clean the area. While waiting to taxi out the second time the flight attended, Tyeesha, was very rude to an elderly gent. He was seated in an exit row and she didn't think him capable. The lady on the aisle of my row volunteered to switch and Tyeesha' s response was a sharp, "Do you want to pay the higher price too?" When the lady next to me said she would gladly pay Tyeesha announced loudly that this discussion was between the two of them and everyone else needed to mind their own business. The lady offering to switch was really embarrassed, as was the elderly gent. Someone else was made to switch with him. They looked disgruntled too. In the air all the flight attendants were sharp and very direct. There were no please or thank you's used. Trash was collected silently and mostly with pointing. The armrest to my left had five flavors of chewed gum stuck to the side of it. My lap tray had grey and yellow sticky stuff on it and I chose to hold my food rather than let the two touch. The floors were untidy. The only reason I will ever fly Allegiant again is if I have no other options. It is 60 minutes closer to my house than SLC and I will be making the drive from now on."

Cheaper or soft-sided luggage would have experienced damage to the contents. Unfortunately, I did not check the luggage before leaving the airport to file a complaint."

Cons: "Seats are so small I was window seat with two men who were jammed up so uncomfortably in their seats I felt bad. I was cramped cause they had no choice but to spill over in my seat. I understand safety is important but unless the plane is in middle of taking off or landing, or horrible turbulence anyone should be able to use the bathroom. We had landed and were just sitting and waiting on a gate to open. My fellow travler happened to be on her period n was told No she could not use the bathroom. After the 3rd time of her being sent back I got up with her and a tampon in hand n told the staff they had no choice she was using that bathroom. Of course they had to phone the captain and ask for permission which he ok it, but seriously , what are we supposed to do just sit in our blood. That was not cool."

Cons: "This flight was delayed by several hours, so I was concerned that I might miss my connecting flight in Denver. I could have flown through any other city en route to Raleigh, so it was frustrating that Frontier would not do anything for me until I got to Denver, because the risk was extremely high that I would miss the last flight out of Denver. Fortunately, Frontier decided to hold the connecting flight so that people on this flight could make their connection. HOWEVER, I landed a few hours later in CHARLOTTE, NC. Apparently Frontier had not checked my ticket when I boarded the wrong plane. My ticket clearly indicated that I was supposed to be on the flight to Raleigh. From Charlotte, there was an American Airlines flight that I could have transferred to--something that every other airline I've flown has done under these circumstances. But Frontier told me they don't put passengers on other airlines' flights, so I had to wait another couple of hours to catch Frontier's next flight to Raleigh. Throughout the whole process, it was very frustrating because for hours while I waited at LAX, I couldn't find a single Frontier employee. I even had to wait at ticketing when I arrived at the airport, not because of a line but because there was no one from Frontier at the counter. All of this suggests to me that Frontier just doesn't care. They don't care enough to be at the airport in case passengers have problems like this. They don't care enough to avoid missed connections by putting people on different flights. They don't care enough to make sure passengers are getting on the correct flights."

They at least knew that the gate had changed, but they didn't know where it had been changed to. I found it. It then proceeded to change 3 more times. The final change was not announced, we all just followed another passenger who had seen the change listed on the airport departure screen. The final gate was "39" a door in a hallway that opened up onto a tarmac. We waited there about 30 minutes (after the scheduled boarding time) before the door opened. They had no scanner for passes, so the attendant had to write things down on paper when we showed him our passes!! The actual cabin is tight, but that's to be expected. What wasn't expected was the random turning off and on of overhead lights throughout the (red-eye) flight. It was like a torture technique. To round out this great experience, the flight attendant instructed us to de-board the plane in order. Row 1 (left side) then row 1 (right), etc. This clearly pissed off many passengers who had no carry-on luggage and could have just walked off while those with stuff in overheads waited. When I finally got to exit the plane, I heard a guy somewhere behind me say "f-you" to the crew as they gave us the traditional "have a good day". We all felt the same, just didn't say so."

There is no first-class section, but for $50, you can get additional leg room in the first rows of the plane. Water is offered during the flight, but no other beverages are complimentary. If you are looking for an affordable way to travel and can pack light, this is pretty ideal."

I folded down the mini tray table and used it as a platform for my coat and other pillowy items to rest my head- this was the most comfortable position to sleep in, in my opinion. My feelings about the crew members are kind of neutral. Besides offering water, I didn't see much of them. Flying's cool and a great privilege so writing a review about experiencing mild discomfort feels silly to me. The experience was fine overall."

I only had a backpack therefore knew that in a smaller airport I would very easily get through security and allocated that time to get to my plane. Although I was not even allowed to print my ticket. I will NEVER fly spirit airlines because their customer service is awful and they are liars to all flyers."
