Being 6'4", the ability to upgrade to economy plus/premium is important on long-haul flights. Everything else about Lufthansa is excellent, but I will not book with Lufthansa for long flights anymore because of this. I'll stick with United from now on."

I'm only 130 lbs. can hardly wonder how a bigger person can handle those tiny seat spaces. Also, those seats are so uncomfortable with the way they contour one's back. No support and very very uncomfortable, I had mid back tension pains the entire 12 hour flight."
Cons: "The flight never took off. We had to wait 6 hours in line, and they still couldn't rebook many of us. When I was finally rebooked on a Swiss Air flight, the flight was invalid, Swiss didn't accept it. I was send to various different lines, and they didn't even understand what my problem was. Finally after spending 2 whole days at the San Francisco airport, I could take off with a 30 hour delay. The Swiss Air flight was wonderful."

Cons: "I had bulkhead (50A) and that seat gives a little less legroom due to the wall so my feet were often resting against the wall. Plus that seat has the A/V in the armrest which is not allowed to be on during takeoff and landing, meaning I couldn't start a movie until after takeoff and I couldn't watch the flight camera during landing."

According to rull must keep it under seat, but crew don't say anything I was very very surprised. it's very Dangerous to everybody people may hurt , i was very Scared and nervous. 3. in the dark room passenger can't see or feels that behind them whether crew come or not (passing by or not) Crew passing by and hit passenger but without saying sorry and just go a way. it's impossible... 4. i was standing at Exit door and look at the outside but same time crew came and said to me not friendly and without smile "Excuse me" and i go a way, i saw she crew want to put something inside at dress room. what i want to say the crew could be more nice and smiley face to passenger or could be nice can be wait 5 seconds but was really the way of tone is Racist, this is what i felt, really bad."

Cons: "booking this flight was a nightmare. after several calls i was told i can upgrade to a seat with more legroom in economy plus at the airport counter for 12 Euros. it then turned out it cost me $80 for just one leg of the trip, and it wasn't economy plus, but a very narrow seat in an exit row right next to a toilet. The phone customer service was rude, unprofessional, and uninformed."

Several of them stood when landing even before the plane had slowed down. I understand that these people do not know the rules but I think is responsible fo the crew to enforce the rules. I have had the same situation flying Delta and United and in both airlines every time something like this happens the crew comes to put order. This is for comfort and security of other passengers."

Legroom in economy worse than on US flights. Touchscreen didn't work. And, they left ALL the luggage in LAX. Spent 4 hours in SVO filling out papers for the lost/delayed luggage."

First, for international transfer, a big crowd had to squeezed into a small space and wait for security check. Secondly, there are too many shops in the waiting areas, and the passengers had to compete for space and sit on stairs, while the internal air quality was quite poor which became more severe in summer. Thirdly, the toilets need a complete re-vamp. It was not a pleasant experience to use toilet."

Pros: "I regularly fly between East Asia and Europe, and have taken Aeroflot almost every time for a year now. Their business class equals that of any other major European carrier. Their food and service is right on par with other European carriers. The planes are new and clean. Staff is efficient, and generally friendly. Aeroflot has a certain negative reputation but I have had very good experiences only."

I once had to change my flight time but I found it was very hard to reach Aeroflot by telephone. Probably best to reserve through an agency who make the changes for you."

It was a strange vibe. The number of exclamation marks is not exaggerated here. You can't even ask if they even have the item in their possession. Rarely had such a bad experience at an airport, and I travel a lot for work. This alone makes me think thrice about EVER getting Finnair again. Same company that manages the airport, so I'm giving this flight a bad review."

Actual departure 1:30 AM I reserved a center aisle seat in a row that was completely empty a day or two before departure, hoping to get the whole row. Didn't work out. Just before we closed the doors a couple arrived at the row and took up three of the seats. Darn it. But I still got a good nights sleep. Wish there was an option to check N/A on several of the options above. I didn't speak to a crew member. I didn't eat or drink anything. I never turned on the entertainment system."

In my opinion, either Kayak or Air Canada can add a simple checkbox to let the potential guest choose his or her nationality status, then this kind of trouble can be mitigated. We talked and called Air Canada people but no buying. They kept saying this is our responsibility. We bought United Airline tickets at the last minutes and cost us about $2,400 because we cannot wait to get back China to prepare our wedding ceremony and US Visa interview. We are very very disappointed with Air Canada and will keep complaining about this issue. As a service supplier, how cannot you think on behalf of a customer? The air company definitely knows more about government rules than a customer. We did have mistakes of not researching government rules. I wouldnt say Air Canada has less legroom as a generalization, but this route and plane assigned has the least. I guess if you're taller, do a little research on the planes for your routes. No actual wi-fi was kind of annoying. You can access some content, but no real internet connection."

The bread they gave with the meal was tiny and tasteless compared to the lovely ciabatta rolls served with the regular meals."

My bag was purchased a month ago and I made sure it met all major airline specs so when she immediately told me I'd have to check it, I told her it would fit no problem in her little mold. She insisted that it would not and I'd have to PAY to check it. I picked it up and easily popped it into the mould but my zipper snagged on the way in and she said that I was not allowed to "force" it in. I then easily lifted it in and out twice without the zipper snagging. Then she insisted that I weigh it. 22lbs is not much at all so I figured I might get caught here but to my surprise I was only at 23lbs. So she immediately said I would have to pay because I was over weight.... BY 1 LB! So I opened my bag and took out bag of carrots and put it back on the scale. She was so pissed that she couldn't charge me anything that she never made eye contact for the rest of the process. She then said that because I had my cat with me I could not sit in the row I had booked because it was an exit row. I insisted that it was not an exit row as I had just flown on the plane four days earlier with my cat in the same seat. She refused and moved me to a row with less leg room despite my having paid for the upgraded seat (I'm 6'4"). Upon boarding, I confirmed with the flight attendant that my original row was NOT an exit row. It was behind the exit row and there are no restrictions for that. One terrible staff member is all it takes to ruin a flight. Air Canada Rouge also happens to be a soda can with wings so that doesn't help."

Since I had just had breakfast, I asked if the food and drinks would be available later. The answer was probably not, which indeed was the case. This was on a five hour flight. When I did want food and drink, I had to go to the attendant at the back of the plane. I was able to have a drink delivered to purchase a drink, but the one food item I wanted was not in stock. (This was from the beginning, and was also the case on the outgoing flight a week earlier. I was informed that I could not use my noise cancelling headphones, designed and purchased largely for flying during takeoff and landing, but had to use ear buds, which I did not have, do not like, and as a senior with hearing aids find uncomfortable. Thus, I missed the benefit of their noise cancelling feature and much of the movie I was enjoying. On the earlier flight, one of the two toilets was unavailable, causing long waits, but the attendant in the front of the plane refused to allow me to use that toilet, which was available. When I protested, she answered the same way perpetrators of crimes against humanity did "I am just following orders." Where is the concern for the humanity of a senior citizen? Also the previous flight connections was scheduled too closely so that with security and border clearance, I was barely able to board at the last minute, thus causing a great deal of stress, no time to ear or use the toilet at the terminal, once again unhealthy stress and discomfort, no concern for the humanity of the passenger."

Cons: "There was just one minor thing. The stewardess that was giving us the bread almost at the end of the meal suddenly got impatient (?) and we think rude. I was with my husband and son. Our son was very sleepy and wasn't being very clear in responding whether he liked a bread or not. So as the stewardess was standing there waiting for us to figure out whether he wanted a bread or not, my husband said just to give it to him instead (he hasn't had one). She dropped the bread on my husband's already used food container (plate) with a very obvious attitude of impatience. Mind you my husband is a veteran with a severe case of PTSD. Flights already make him anxious let alone getting this sort of treatment. It was good that he had taken his meds prior to boarding and that made it easier for me to calm him and not make a scene. Otherwise it could have been a very ugly experience. It is for this one reason that I couldn't give an EXCELLENT review on this segment of the flight."

I was late a bit to my second flight because i had to go and ask a lot of people on how to get to the counter of China Southern Airlines. The 777 configuration around seat 70 has fewer seats across so there is a bit more of an aisle, one can then stand or stretch your legs during the long LAX to China flight. Flight attendants were helpful especially as several of us passengers smelled cigarette smoke. The attendant quickly searched but couldn't find the culprit. An announcement to not smoke as a reminder probably should have been made, though. On a previous China flight, different airline, a guy was caught smoking in the lavatory so I know it can happen."

Cons: "Served meal during flight was not , and I could not eat. At least crew gave me peanuts to eat. Suggest to change the meal plan to be more neutral from authentic. Movie selection was good, but I could not listen well using their headset."
Cons: "The flight was delayed and there was no setting of expectations or announcement by the crew. The frustrated passengers waited and was asking the crew to announce it so everyone would know yet they declined to announce. Everyone just waited even if the flight was late without no expectation on the delay and what caused it. The crew had poker faces and didn't know how to empathize with the frustrated passengers who were worried bec they might miss their connecting flights. There were no apologies and seemed that they didnt care at all, no answer and no setting of expectations theybjust kept asking us to wait whenever a passenger would ask when we will be onboarded."
