No wifi and tv didnt work so couldnt watch movies

Almost 6 hours delayed due to a broken plane. 2 hours inside the plane waiting without food or beverages. Lost my first night in NYC.

Pros: "My flight from STX was delayed some 30 minutes. That made a dent in the 57 minutes I had to catch my Delta flight. Naturally we landed at gate A2 and Delta was boarding at Terminal 2 gate B9. Me with my knee replacement can’t run and my wheelchair was not in sight. Thank goodness I had a carryon with wheels. I was out of breath when I got to Delta and the last passengers were boarding. I started panicking and interrupted the ground steward who asked me to wait with a smile. I waited . So when I told them I was standby they waved me on after showing my passport. I couldn’t find my boarding pass. I was pleasantly surprised to get a seat in first class. I was so thankful. My first time. Good things come to those who wait! Thank you Delta."

It was never updated to let me know where it was until after I landed in BHM. The app indicated that my bag was on another flight"

I eventually got my boarding passes only to find I wasn’t assigned a seat for the first flight and I will get it later at the gate. After getting through security my name was called for a extra security screening which I thought was interesting since I have Global Entry and am an American citizen. Weird. Because my name was called I had to get to the gate early. Upon arriving to the gate the gate agent confirmed I have extra security screening and she would assign my seat soon. After waiting some time she assigned me to a middle seat in the last row of the plane! After boarding someone came and sat next to me that was overweight and should have been charged for 2 seats. With such a long flight it’s the least American can do."

I had over a 3 hour wait in Greenville. In New Bern, they did an additional security check on my shoes, these were flip flops, really? In Greenville, they did an additional check on my carryon bag and threw my toothpaste away, it was over 3 ounces, it had passed other points, no restaurants in Greenville, NC airport, only vending machines and 2 were broken. .Seating was pretty tight too! 3 hr for next flight"

Unlike other carriers, United quickly adapted to the reality on the ground and adjusted their schedules accordingly. The result was a safe, comfortable, flight for a very reasonable cost given the very short amount of time I had to make reservations. Thank you!"

I see that the carriers have dropped/frozen rates for customers stranded by hurricane Maria, but United was listed at least $100-$200 per ticket above other carriers"

Cons: "My birthday was yesterday, August 22, and we were traveling to Atlanta, and at the San Juan airport the flight to Chicago was delayed so we upgrade to first class because we don have enough time to get birthday diner in the stop in Chicago to Atlanta, so the thing was that they didn't have enough meals for the costumers, they were 2 meals short , my husband couldn't eat so we ask for other options and they only had 2 thing that my husband couldn't eat, because they were horrible. So that brought my husband mad, so it was not enjoyable because every time he tried to do something to feel calm again but they couldn't do anything to help us calm down. They keep telling us that it was her mistake that she miscounted and that they didn't give them enough snacks, we didn't had snacks for the rest of the flight it was stressed full. Tomorrow i have to travel again back to Puerto Rico, and im scared that tomorrow will be a horrible day traveling with United, with no space for being comfortable with no food for 9 hours, im worried that the flight is delayed again and that a lost my flight back home, were my dogs are in a hotel till that night so im scared to have to pay another night for my dogs, and I wouldn't be able to pay it. Cons: "Delays are never fun and unfortunately our flight was delayed, but more importantly the pre-boarding staff and crew were rediculously rude. They yelled at one lady bc she didn't speak English. They were stressed I am sure with delays and working the gate that has like 5 flights leaving at once, but they could be a bit better at their job by being polite to us the customers! They were so frazzled bc of what was going on that they acted like it was our fault, which of course it isn't! Additionally, our flight was overbooked by 6 people! And had standby of 4 and the staff kept announcing they were going to kick 6 people off and we wouldn't know until we were boarding and it was going to be by whoever paid the lowest price per ticket which btw is not the policy. The United policy says that it goes by class of ticket, which probably goes hand in hand, but hey really need to get thier staff on board with the policies. It makes you feel pretty crappy sitting there waiting to see if just bc you bought your ticket on a Tuesday at a good rate that you are not going to make it home to see your family! And the people making the announcements could be a bit more chipper also, we the customers didn't overbook the flight and we surely do not want to miss said flight so don't announce over PA system in threatening way bc United is trying to make more money by overbooking flights! This might never be read, but I hope that kayak can pass along this information to the Dullus United team to try and make the flights more enjoyable in the future"

There should be SOMETHING complimentary on these flights!! You pay for EVERYTHING except water! I hate traveling Frontier and Spirit. They say you get what you pay for and that's so true with these airlines. Lesson learned!
