My flight was delayed 12 hours overnight due to "weather" and since it was reportedly because of uncontrollable weather delta didn't have to do anything for me so I slept in the JFK airport overnight, they wouldn't even give a $59 pass to their sky miles club for the afternoon. It felt like an easy excuse so they wouldn't have to do anything since there were other airlines still flying out of JFK and to go CLE before my rescheduled flight which makes me believe it wasn't all weather. Since the flight was delayed 12 hours instead of being cancelled they wouldn't let me switch to a different airline either. Then, in the morning when it was rescheduled to it was again delayed because they first couldn't find a captain and then couldn't find a fort mate. We finally took off and arrived in Cleveland only to wait another 30 minutes for a gate and a ground crew that they couldn't find. I will never fly delta again."

After getting through security my name was called for a extra security screening which I thought was interesting since I have Global Entry and am an American citizen. Weird. Because my name was called I had to get to the gate early. Upon arriving to the gate the gate agent confirmed I have extra security screening and she would assign my seat soon. After waiting some time she assigned me to a middle seat in the last row of the plane! After boarding someone came and sat next to me that was overweight and should have been charged for 2 seats. With such a long flight it’s the least American can do."

Additionally, once we changed flights and had to go to Newark, it took an hour to print (yes, print) our new itineraries for United and then when the cab should have arrived immediately, we waited 45 minutes. Cons: "flight was cancelled after being loaded and pulled away from the terminal. waited for over 2 hours on the tarp and then they said the crew had run out of time and could not fly. They took us off of the plane and did not rebook us. It took everyone over two hours to get rebooked for the next day or even two days later. They almost had a revolt on their hand since they did not have a representative talk to us until the passengers started yelling at them. Very poor customer service. Just horrible."

Cons: "The airport in Toronto where they crammed about 10 gates together in a small area with no air conditioning (it seemed). Also flight was delayed about an hour so had to wait in horrible conditions with no seats for a long time."

Cons: "Pre-boarding wait is extremely long with all the different groups. Seems you always have a problem with carry on luggage so those in Group 5 will always be forced to check-in unwillingly. Staff taking ticket is unfriendly at gate - i was YELLED at because I had a thin garment bag along with my small international carry on and purse. it was considered 3 bags .... since when does a dress inside a garment bag warrant a full other carry on? It could have folded into my carry on but the purpose of a garment bag is so you do not have to wrinkled it in your luggage. He moved me to the side and told me I needed to check it in, I was NOT allowed to hang it in the plane b/c i'm not a business passenger. WTF. After 10 min of waiting on the side I folded up my garment bag and shoved it in my purse - after another 5 min he gave me my luggage and told me to head toward the plane. Worst. Flight. Ever"
Pros: "It was a short flight with poor weather conditions, the pilot was very good at keeping the passengers updated."
Cons: "The temperature on the plane was incredibly hot. I believe that the crew did everything that they could do to remedy this, including passing water. However, it was incredibly uncomfortable and some of the passengers were quite angry."
Cons: "No food when they got to back row and we were starving. No apology and no alternate offers. Also my two yr old boy was about to fall asleep and every time the crew member switched on their reading light and walked away. I had to turn them off. Worst experience on an Air Canada flight."
Cons: "Crowded gate with not enough chairs because of so many delays. We were delayed too because of the other backups, but flight was great once we boarded. Not a big deal to us but might have been if we had a connecting flight after that. This was the small commuter flight area so maybe that's just how it goes."

Cons: "Toronto Terminal F is kind of how I envision a third-world country. At least at the higher-number gates, it's very dreary, with an occasional flying insect and signs hanging from the ceiling. Worse is the lack of air conditioning and the sporadic wi-fi service. Worst of all was the almost two-hour delay and changing our departure gate at least five times. Two fellow passengers (one a native of Toronto) said it was always like that. The trip from Toronto to London and back was fine, but I'll try very hard to avoid Air Canada and its Terminal F."

Cons: "The staff on the ground were disorganized, uninformed, frazzled, dismissive and boarded us 1 hour late with no updates on why we were not boarding on time. Our flight was just sitting there on the ground. when people asked they blew us off. we were also crowded into the last, very narrow, terminal area in the Toronto airport (F89-F99 area). Too many flights departing at the same time, created limited space to sit/stand. One passenger pasted out, and had a seizure upon hitting the floor face first, because of the stuffed space, and lack of air movement and available seats. They did have a fan in the area but it didnt do much to circulate air. Once we boarded an hour late, the ground crew were nowhere to be found. We waited 30min on the plane for crew to board our luggage. We were told they left the area to work somewhere else, and would be back soon. Ugh! I would not fly Air Canada again, esp through Toronto again."

Cons: "We got a hotel in St. Louis so we'd be plenty early for our morning flight. Got to the airport more than 2 hours early, checked in and waited. They announced over the overhead speakers that our flight was delayed due to mechanical issues. Then delayed again. Then cancelled. We were on the phone with both the airline and priceline ASAP. By "on the phone" I mean "holding for the next available representative...", which was more than an hour wait for both. The airline didn't have another flight they could fit us on until next week. We asked priceline to get us on the next available flight. We held, were disconnected, held, held more, disconnected, held more...until the day was gone. That evening they finally said they booked us on a 6:15 a.m. flight. I asked for an email confirmation and when it didn't arrive several hours later I called back. "Please hold" was the catch phrase of the day. Eventually a rep came on the line and said that we had a 6:15 a.m. flight, gave me the flight number, etc. and said the email would arrive shortly. We went to bed feeling good. We got up at 3 a.m. to get to the airport by 4 a.m. The airline didn't have anything on us. We had two hours to get this straightened out so we weren't TOO worried. "Please hold" When the priceline rep finally came on the phone she said we had reservations and the airline should let us on. Even though it was 5 a.m. now there was a long line at the airport check-in. When we got to the front of the line the guy dug deeper into his system, said he could find our reservation, but that priceline just hadn't purchased the tickets. I told this to the priceline rep on the phone. "Please hold" We watched as our flight left. We spent the day trying to get priceline to get us on a flight, but I was never able to speak to someone able to get us on a flight."
Pros: "We arrived in Istanbul the day of the attack. Air Canada let us change our flights, no charge, no questions asked. We were able to fly through Venice and avoided the Coup attempt. Thank you Air Canada so much!"
Cons: "The hold times were long for customer service but that may have just been the times we happened to be calling and due to the attack."

Cons: "The tiny little plane is pretty standard for going to and from Cleveland but the boarding gate was in a shack outside the main airport with almost no seating and horrible aesthetics. The flight attendant was rude and way to large (obese) to be on such a small airplane. It's likely we had to pay a fuel surcharge just to move her alone. I'm not being mean, but this flight was just terrible overall."
Cons: "I arrived before the earlier flight to Cleveland, but even though there was room on the flight for me Air Canada said I would have to pay $150 to switch to that flight. So I had to wait five hours (and the next flight was delayed) for no reason. Air Canada should be more accomodating to customers who want to take an earlier flight, as I had to wait around for no reason whatsoever."

Cons: "There was no music/entertainment provided by Air Canada. No flights over 4 hours should be without monitors for movies and/or music. Being told in-flight that we could have downloaded the Air Canada app was inexcusable as one couldn't download anything during the flight. I've been on many flights and the only other plane that didn't have entertainment or music options was going from Cape Cod, MA to Nantucket; a 20 minute flight on a Cessna. I was not expecting any music or entertainment on that flight, however. My wife and I were very disappointed in Air Canada from this perspective. We have 4 children and would pay extra on different airlines would never fly it again. We were grateful from Toronto to DFW there was entertainment, though."

Cons: "On the way to Europe i find out that i was supposed to download the app in order to watch movies on the plane, apparently i was supposed to get an email from Air Canada however there was NOT A SINGE EMAIL from Air canada. On breakfast they offer me banana bread. ARE YOU REALLY serious???? no eggs or sausage or something. Disgusting!!!! Had to beg flight attendant to give me piece of old bread. Very disgusting air lines!!!!!!"

Cons: "The flight attendants on this flight did NOT do their job. If they are there to ensure a safe environment for the people on board, they completely missed the boat. I was in row 45. Two families were on board with their 4 very young children. For the entire 8 hour flight, 3 of these children disrupted the entire section of the plane. They continuously played in the aisles, stood in the seats, kept their seat belts unbuckled, threw objects, and one blasted his iPad at maximum volume. When I asked one flight attendant to ask the family to get the child to lower the volume on his iPad (it was 4am; people were either using their ear buds, or had their screens turned off), they complied with the request for 30 minutes, then resumed at full throttle. I can honestly say, it was one of the worst flights I have ever experienced in 57 years."

Cons: "Passenger seats are way to close, if the person in front of you leans their seat back, forget about using your tray. I know I haven't flown in over a year, but did all airlines stop passing out snacks. Make sure you bring your credit card in case you get hungry. They charge you for everything except basic drinks and make sure you use the latrine prior to boarding because they are too busy swiping the credit cards, they block the isle to get access to it."
