Shouldn't basic functions be checked before a plane is boarded? What was supposed to be a 1030 red eye, turned out to be a 1 AM bloodshot eye."

I felt very safe with them. I was able to use TSA precheck without a problem. I would definitely use Frontier again."

The seats felt like something out of Disneyland ride, and my table was the smallest thing i have ever seen. Surprised I wasn't charaged a fee to have air on the plane. On positive I can say was the airline bought me dinner after being stuck for 4hours. Beware..."

Only after calling was I told it was actually cancelled and had i not called the last email would have lead me to believe it was departing at 3pm. I understand weather was the issue but the communication of it was not ideal."

I had to book a last minute one-way red eye flight on United in order to get back to NY. Frontier also charges for every single incidental - the seats, carry on, checked bag, etc. So, the tickets aren't actually cheaper."

He then closed all the overheads when we were half boarded - making new arrivals scrambling for storage. Also, all the hidden fees!! I paid 1 1/2 times my airfare in more fees. I'll fly another airline before choosing you again. I have flown over 500,000 miles in the past 20 years and this was the worst."

The flight attendant said I would have to talk to the gate agent but we had already boarded so of course that was impossible."

Also, they allowed a ticket change when Hurricane Matthew was looming, with no extra charge and without regard to price differences in tickets. I have received an email showing the refund has been given on their end, so now I just wait for it to show up on my credit card."

Cons: "The crew was poorly trained in virtually all aspects of their duties. They had no coordination among themselves and ran around like a bunch of chickens with their heads cut off. One attendant yelled at a passenger at one point. They kept turning the lights on and off abruptly and made a HUGE deal about throwing away the trash because otherwise they will get stuck doing it all. The intercom system was also abused as the attendants made, at times foolish announcements, with a different attendant speaking almost each time. One would almost yell while another would speak very softly. The intercom system and speakers on this plane, particularly from the cockpit, when the captain spoke, sounded like it was from the Vietnam War era. For a brand new airplane, this was a disappointing shortcoming in the technology. We experienced excessive turbulance for the majority of the flight as well. I do not know if this is something the pilot is able to overcome but on this flight, it certainly was an issue as i almost had to vomit from all the very abrupt and excessive motion. I would not rate this as one of the better flights i have been on."

Then first officer times out, another 2 hour delay and instead of being proactive and having a Captain standing by because he was heading to time out we had another delay. Frontier has terrible gate agents who don't care. My flight that was to arrive at 10:55 PM arrived at 3:30 AM so I lost a day of work, had to cancel a meeting and lost an entire day because of Frontier's operations? Sounds like a poorly run airline who touts being low cost who nickel and dimes me to death. I WILL NEVER come back."

When we tried to check in early for each leg of our round trip flight we found out that the flights were very overbooked and to reserve a seat on the plane we had to pay extra regardless of where we sat. I don't mean we had to pay extra for a nicer seat, or extra leg room...I mean every single seat on the plane cost money to tie to our names. When you factor in the carry on bag charges we ended up paying an extra couple hundred dollars on top of the price of the tickets. I will not be flying Frontier again, especially when a couple of the other budget plane companies don't charge for carry on bags or to simply get a seat on the plane we had already paid to fly on. I also was surprised to find out that I even had to pay for a cup of water mid-flight. I thought that it was against the law to refuse water to someone when they are thirsty, but the flight attendant assured me it wasn't."
