So bad, flight was been cancelled due to aircraft problem, so ended up buying anothet ticket.
As great a red-eye flight as red-eye flights can be.
Good flight. However, when booked flight with United, assumed the layover included by United in San Francisco of 1 hr and 40 minutes was sufficient . Not so and would recommend at least 2 hours or more. Needed to go through US immigration (very long lineups), then pick up bags, take all the way to another terminal, running because we did not have sufficient time. We made the flight because they held the door for us but luggage didn’t follow.

No real complaints. The in flight food was much better than I expected. The in flight entertainment was excellent.
From pre boarding to flight attendant, crew and baggage handler, excellent. Didn’t lost my luggage like West jet.

Do not like the size of the overhead bin. I think staff should monitor the size of suitcases that are being carried on by passengers to ensure they meet the size requirement.
Crew was great (professional, attentive, prompt). Snacks for 4 hrs flight is deplorable.
No Snacks or Entertainment. The flight was short, snacks should still be given.
We lost a day of our vacation because AA did not get the plane to the gate on time. Even though the gate attendant was very clear that it was not weather related, AA would do nothing because there was some snow that day. They basically said the gate attendant was wrong even though she was on the front line of the situation and they were not.
See prior comment about how Kayak mishandled my reservation and delayed my arrival by 6 hours.
American Airlines was great and worked very hard to change my ticket so I could get an earlier, direct flight back to Dallas. However, I was informed that Kayak made mistakes with my itinerary and classified my ticket as desiring to be on the earlier flight instead of taking the necessary step of calling AA to get me on the standby list. This ended up keeping me from being added to the standby list and delayed me getting home by 6 hours. I am happy to discuss this further with Kayak so they can correct their procedures so this won't happen again.
The flight was fine. It's the satellite terminal that supports American eagle flights is what sucks. There is only one food option and everything there is way overpriced. I mean I know it's airport pricing, but it's even crazier than that. I bought a sandwich in a plastic container for $18.
Overall it was a good flight. Because we traveled on a Saturday we were upgraded to FC since my wife and I are both Executive Platinum. The only areas for improvement we noted are better snack assortment and perhaps a little nicer plane as American is flying some older planes now. Everything else on this flight was excellent, which is frankly not the norm for American since we have had multiple issues on prior AA flights.
The smell from the bathroom kept wafting through the cabin. It made people sick.

Didn't get a seat assignment until the last minute even though i picked a seat.
My flight got delayed and eventually canceled, then rescheduled. I and several others had a connection from Boston to Paris and asked several times if we would make it. They assured us we would and then rebooked us mid flight without our consent and closed doors early even though they said they communicated we were a bit delayed. We got stranded in Boston and I opted with being rebooked for a different connection to France since they refused to pay for a Hotel. I've now been in Europe for 5 days and still haven't recieved my bags. There was absolutely no urgency for the fact that I'm in a foreign country with absolutely no change of clothes or any of my medication. Such an overwhelming and frustrating experience.
Very smooth flight, good legroom with the "even more room" seats. Entertainment choice was excellent, wifi on board, plane was modern. Pilot got a round of applause for a smooth landing in very blustery conditions. Love flying with them. Check in was OK too. We were too early so we had to wait until groundstaff showed up 3hrs before the flight.
Automated scanning was slow and somewhat haphazard. Too many people were unfamiliar with the tech and were forced to learn on the fly. The hands off approach of the gate staff made it more uncomfortable. This needs work. Overall the flight and cabin crew were excellent.
The crew for the flight was A+ top notch. They were friendly and professional and made the flight a very relaxing and enjoable.
Rude crew member. She seemed annoyed at me without me saying a single word. Also loudly admonished me for having my bag next to my seat instead of tucked away before landing. Just telling me to put it away and guiding me without giving me a lecture would have been enough.
No included food for a 5 hour flight and the entertainment was only accessible if you had wired headphones (not provided). Otherwise though, great and smooth flying and customer service.
They initially informed us that the flight was delayed, but only after waiting an hour for updates. In any event, the flight was canceled, but the way it was handled was really poor and egregious. I feel they handled the situation of informing travelers very irresponsibly. I sat in a wheelchair at the airport for over four hours before finally being told that the flight was canceled.
Crew were fantastic and so catering and wonderful! Full score for the entire crew!
Because of weather and mechanical issues our flight was 4 hours late. The only compensation offered to us was a meal voucher to be used only at Boston Airport and only on the day issued. But by the time it was offered to us all the restaurants were closed, so there was no way to use that offer.

Horrible experience with Avianca, they delayed their flight and when we arrived to NYC, AVIANCA took 1 hr y 30 mins to park the airplane and all passenger get off the plane, it made me lost all my trains to get back home and I came back to my place at 3 am instead of 12 am. On the top of that their plane seat are so uncomfortable and is not enough space and killed my legs and knees, Avianca used to be good when it was a Colombian company, now after Brasilian company bought them, their service quality is bad and their flights are delayed and oversold.
Here we have another airline flying to Guatemala but doesn't have a plus or a less, just in the middle. Why? Well, first we don't have even free water Movie selection is poor Seats don't recline in some places Food selection is carb based Forgot to mention, customer service on the web is the worst. Last seat of Bussines Class it does recline but passenger seating behind kept pushing since they did not have space once my seat was reclined
I handed in my suitcase in perfect condition at SAL Airport. And in MIA Airport I received it with one corner broken and the wheels bent.
I like the crew members they're very friendly. Clean plane. The flight was on time. I dont like the comfort my car seat its better that the plane seats. They charge for everything. This airline was very good. Now it's a low cost airline
No free snacks nor drinks on very short 30min flight. Entertainment system is over wifi to your own phone or tablet, which is good but often a show or movie just stops and refuses to continue
Not even water is offered on the flight. You cannot lean back on the seats and the seats are so narrow you can’t avoid rubbing elbows with the person next to you.

6 hour flight and have to pay for everything 100 dollars to add a carry-on bag is insane
The check in is the only positive thing in Avianca. The seat is the most uncomfortable I have traveled, the distance is minimal.
I paid for the seats in row 3 to embark and disembark quicker but the passengers in the 2 rows in front of me take all the overhead bin space so I am forced to put my luggage 5 rows back. I even opened one up right above my seat which had room but as I was going to fit my carry on a flight atendant said it "was reserved", Just giving my money to a regular airline next time.

I was not informed via text about flight delay and gate change. There should have been a notice by the original gate letting us know that there was a change. A half hour before original flight time we realized there was no one there and were told that the gate was changed so we ran across the airport (I was traveling with my aunt who is in her upper 60s) to try to make the flight and then saw that the flight was actually delayed an hour . If you can do something for us to makeup for this we would appreciate it. Thank you
Terrible. Spirit cancelled the flight with 3 hours notice and were absolutely no help getting another flight. Had to make my own reservation on another airline and arrived in Dallas 12 hours later.
The flight itself was great except for an air traffic controller delay. We left 30 min late but they made up most of the time in flight. The booking was frustrating, as we chose a certain flight and it was changed four times. We got to Orlando several hours later than the original flight we chose.
Terrible. Poor communication from staff about why we were trapped on the plane for over two hours before even departing. Terrible customer service from flight attendants. Incredibly uncomfortable seats
Crew was very nice. Take off and landing were great. Economy seats are not comfortable. Extra cost for snacks.
Less than acceptable. Family members had flights cancelled with no reason. Multiple hour delay, gate changes, poor communication, less than satisfactory. I will never fly with spirit again, which is a shame because it’s a budget friendly option but quite frankly with all of the hassle and hoops that come with flying spirit. Completely unacceptable.
Everything was terrible. Flight was delayed several hours, crew was abrasive. Stuck on runway for over a hour. There was an argument between passengers that nearly turned into a fight while waiting to exit plane, crew did nothing. Took nearly 3 hours to retrieve luggage at baggage claim. Lost an entire day of vacation. Will never fly spirit again under any circumstance
The flight from Boston to San Juan was boring since you guys don’t offer wings if during the flight. The returning flight was better offering WiFi to passengers. The food was horrible not enough on stock.serve paying customers better.
