Despite the terrible weather situation, the crew made sure that all passengers were safe before taking off. We were all thankful that Delta made sure to take all precautions to insure a safe flight. Even though the flight was delayed, we were able to still make our connection in Atlanta We're thankful for the effort that Delta and the crew made to get us in the air, but making sure that everything was safe. Being a GA private pilot myself, I know all of the procedures that must be followed in order to get that flight safely off the ground.
Boarding took a long time. Taking off took a long time. I spent over an hour connecting, disconnecting repeatedly from the Wifi just to watch the last 15 mins of the movie I watched on my first flight. Wasn’t offered ice with my drink. They passed me twice to throw out my garbage. And the guy next to me had his arm in my ribs the whole time.

Eventually it seemed to be switched off once we hit the clouds and we seemed to sort of coast quietly for a minute or so - also alarming to everyone judging by the non-verbal behavior that suddenly everyone was exhibiting. Then it came back on again but only at half the volume. Nothing was mentioned about it by the captain or crew so I spent the rest of the flight wondering if the engine was going to give out part way through the flight."

Due to your incomparable incompetence my arrival was inexcusably delayed almost 12 hours. An account follows: For a company who's customer service is already hanging by a very thin thread you would think that you would be doing everything to make your flights as smooth and pleasant as possible. Shall I elaborate on the utter frustration and boredom of being trapped in the San Francisco airport facing not one, not two, but what became SEVEN delays? Delays that have been caused by runway maintenance- a condition which someone in your company would have known about well before I got to the airport and that you simply did not plan for. A almost FOUR HOUR delay that could have been easily avoided if you just had things together and scheduled your planes around the affected runways. And let's not forget the additional delay caused when your flight crew simply couldn't be found to come to the gate so we could start getting underway! But no, I think the absolutely outstanding quintessential experience that defines flying with United airlines is this: After the above delays myself and my fellow passengers were finally able to board our flight- only to be told by the captain that there would be another brief delay while we waited for ANOTHER crew member because one of the pilots was near the end of their union hours. We sit on the plane stuck for another 20 minuets or so, only to be told they can't find anyone, and can we please get off the plane because our WHOLE FLIGHT is CANCELED. The kiosk I get to try and fix this is uncrowded but understaffed and run by clearly undertrained employees. The ones I'm dealing with keep having to ask each other for help, and give advice/plans that contradict one another. One of theme even takes what seems to be a personal call while 'assisting' me. When I finally get ahold of a supervisor I have to plead to get the next flight out of this godforsaken place, which I am reluctantly given as its with one of your competitors. Talking with other customer and airport staff is sounds very much like you are delaying/canceling flights for your own personal gain or at least not correcting flights around the situation to squeeze more money from the situation) it becomes quite clear that you are not only still incapable of accepting any real measure of accountability but entirely disgracefully unorganized. Almost 12 hours later I do finally make it home- thanks to American Airlines. Only to have the utter displeasure of one last interaction with United wherein when I pick up my bag your employees insist that I was delayed due to the weather and it wasn't your fault. It was entirely absolutely your fault."

During the two hour delay I could have used it !! Poor service I will fly American from now on !!!!!!!!!!!"

Cons: "I bought my ticket online for $41. I went through two long lines to get my boarding pass. At the end of the second line I was refused a pass because it was 25 minutes until flight time. I was told I had to be rebooked on another flight to the tune of $99 plus $30 baggage fee. Since I had no other choice I rebooked for a flight NINE hours later. After all this I was sent to TWO different WRONG gates nearly missing that flight. At least I got an apology for that. The wrong gate fiasco was because Frontier shares gates with Jet Blue and Spirit. I could not hear the gate change announcements because I am hearing impaired. A lovely way to spend a day in Denver!"

Worse, I paid $150 for my ticket, and other passengers I spoke with paid either $100 or $38 - round trip. Apparently I didn't check your site on the days of the week that you offered your discounts. I then had to pay $40 x 2 for my little carry on bag, which was ridiculous. I plan never to fly with you again."

If your only concern is price, this is a good choice, but plan ahead and know Spirit's checked and carry-on bag fees (and all the other fees, such as printing your own ticket.)"
Cons: "It's Spirit Airlines. I arrived at my destination in once piece. Nothing was over-the-top good or bad. The seats are smaller than traditional. With additional bag fees, the pricing is very similar to other airlines. The seat backs are very thin and as long as there is not an energetic child behind you jumping from seat to seat (There was in my case.) this isn't much of problem. In short - I didn't die."

Cons: "The lady behind me made the flight hell, her and her rude children, I believe they should have made her bring a car seat for her missed behaved child just like the other couple did, they brought their toddler a car seat and purchased seating for him. She didn't. The way I see it for the child's safety they should force the parents in to purchasing a seat at least at half coast. Her daughter and son "toddler" kicked my seat half way to Dallas I have bad kidneys I finally turned around and addressed it, by then I was fed up since it was the second time so I have to admit I did it in a rude way. The fly attendant was very helpful she spoked to the lady who also was very rude twice and had me move seats and the girl who was sitting next to me had to pay an additional $75.00 for a better seat where she wasn't being kicked being that she as well had a bad back. I just think if the parents are trying to be cheap and avoid paying an extra seat not caring for their child's safety they should force them into it or plain simple not allow them to board... It was by far the worse experience even and I had just switched airlines from American to Spirit..."

When I got to the airport to get my boarding pass I couldnt find a way to claim I had carry on baggage. When I tried to get on the plane the lady laughed at me and said i couldnt take my carry on bag. She sent me to someone that wanted to charge me $100 for my carry on bag. The plane ticket was only $69. I was almost out of money and didnt have $100. I told the person how much money I had ($41) and he kept asking me if i had more than that. Every time I told him I had $41. Finally he called someone and they let me pay $35 for the carry on bag. Be carefull flying with Spirit because in my opinion they are greedy bastards."
