It didn’t happen. The flight left early. We would have made our connection had they left on time. Our arriving flight had a 2.5 hour delay. We would have made it on our connection had they not left early. Now our luggage is in limbo.
Issues with luggage, gate agents and flight. Delta has really gone down hill. But the flight agents int he sky were kind and professional. Also enjoyed the entertainment--but shouldn't be charged for headphones.
The landing was incredibly rough. I thought we were going to roll over at one point. Even coming into the landing was incredibly rocky. The passenger beside me said they make that flight all the time and that was the hardest landing they ever experienced.

Lightning forced the airport to shutdown, which was great, we had a chance to catch our flight, but we were stuck in the airplane, and we couldn't get to our gate until the all-clear. I know this is not Delta's fault, but they did arrive quite late on a flight that, according to them, would be early. They also never communicated to the other flight that there were several passengers catching that connection. So by the time we had ran to catch our connection they had closed the ramp. Lightning hit again, and they shutdown the airport once again, so the airplane was still at the gate for about an hour, and they did not allow the 20+ passengers to board that plane, which was right there. So frustrating. The only thing that saved it was that our new flight was the new airbus, and although it left an hour and a half later, the comfort level was phenomenal."

Flight to Atlanta arrived and left without a hitch. It was very organized and lifted off on time. Return flight was delayed due to weather at my destination in Houston but we were updated every 15 mins on the status of the departure/arrival time. Wasn't much confusion. Again the plane on my return was very clean. Crew was very nice and informative. Not sure what confusion is about bags from other reviews. Baggage prices are clearly stated on their website that's why the flights are so cheap. Snacks and drinks are not free ob the plane but you can buy those at kiosks after the security check point and bring it with you on the plane. If comfort is not you're number one priority than this airline works for you."

Other airlines give a free drink, but Frontier charges $2. Terrible. And the seats don't recline. In summary for areas to improve: don't charge me for carry on and don't charge me for water. I will also be looking for another online venue to buy my next tickets, we thought we were going to get a great deal (round trip tickets for two people for around $680) but instead will end up paying in the neighborhood of $885. Kayak let us down big time."

While this does offer more legroom, it makes eating difficult and uncomfortable. I could not rest a standard square salad container on it during the flight. Luckily, I had a plastic bag from the vendor that I could put over my slacks to act as a big placemat. I didn't want to spill dressing on my pants. No WIFI onboard In short, I will be avoiding Frontier in the future. I do fly budget airlines like SW, but at least the attitude there is better. And what you get is clear."

On my return flight was told by the (unfriendly) staff member that I needed to place my bag in this VERY small contraption and if it fit I would not need to pay for my bag. Unfortunately, my bag did not fit however; I was able to place my bag under the seat in front of me for the entire flight. Previously in November I had to pay an additional $75 for my checked bag being 4 lbs overweight. That is highway robbery, I could have checked in another bag for less than that. I will no longer fly Frontier because I am extremely dissatisfied with their service."

My boyfriend purchased a ticket and wanted to make changes...they wanted to charge him $100 to change flight info. RIDICULOUS. He ended buying another ticket....Spirit took $200 in fees extra from us."

Pros: "Customer service and professionalism were awful!!! I will never fly with this airline again! Any company that is unwilling to give you a glass of water without a price tag in my opinion is a hustler! Totally unprofessional and on acceptable the discreet traveler."

Cons: "I was never even able to get onto this flight because it had been delayed so many times that spirit had to put me on another flight for the following day. Now I am missing another day of work that I do NOT have the time to miss. I was very displeased."

Cons: "The flight was delayed 2 hours and they did not communicate this information very well. I was told to go to gate L7 and waited and waited without any information. Then they told us to go to gate L1 and then to go to gate L11 - it was very disorganized . The employees were not helpful and they seemed annoyed at all the questions. It was very crowded in the terminal and they kept telling us to move back to let other passengers off the plane but there was no where to go. All in all it was not a good experience to fly with Spirit."

Cons: "My return flight was delayed for 3 hours. Starting from 7 AM the day my return flight was scheduled, I received an email every hour or so, about changes in my flight departure time! I have 8~9 emails with different departure times now! and finally we took off 3 hours after the initial scheduled flight at 10:15..."

Pros: "The seats are very small, the crew was very nice. We arrived earlier then said. But arrived to more than 20 of us not getting our suitcases due to overweight. Overweight for the plane not per individual suite case."
Cons: "No suite case, no toothbrush, shampoo, change of clothes. Since we arrived and our suite case didn't. Due to overweight, and that would be for the plane. Not per individual suitecase"
Pros: "Absolutely Nothing!!!"
Cons: "They cancelled my flight w/out any warning! Gave me the option of a refund or leaving 26 hours later. I would have never booked with Spirit because of all of my other terrible experiences with them but I was desperate to get home! And like usual they proved their terrible reputation and unreliability!!"

Cons: "No way to talk to an agent on phone about questions, terrible terrible website, have to join club to get boarding pass, didn't announce that gate had changed, on flight home had miniscule tray on back of seat with no indent to hold cup steady, the email survey Spirit sent us led to a blank page!! Flight home they had catering problem, no soft drinks on plane."

Cons: "Flight attendants came across as rude. I even asked for a flight attendant to clarify which carousel luggage would be and she said she didn't know and didn't pay attention. Seats were not comfortable and the 2 hour delay was not ideal."

Pros: "The woman at the airport desk was wonderful and very helpful. She took off 10 dollars from each bag because she said she could see that we tried to login. She put notes in the record and said we could possibly get more refunded but I have not heard from anyone about it. Now I get to call and be on hold for ever. She also informed us that the flight confirmation number we had was a kayak, not spirit number???????? There was no indication about this. Also boarding was very efficient."
Cons: "When I purchased the ticket from Kayak I was not informed about the need to purchase a seat or bags or given the opportunity to do so. There was no notification that one could not have a personal item and a small bag -- only one. When I tried to get my boarding pass on line, I was unable to do so. At that time I learned about the baggage policy. The system had me in a loop that I could not get out of. I was not allowed to request an account so I concluded that I might have gotten one when I logged in. I tried to sign in repeatedly and asked for a new password because it kept saying it was wrong. I never got it and I had to leave for the airport or risk missing the flight. So, I was charged $40 per bag (two of us were flying) for both the outbound and return trips. That is roughly twice what I would have been charged if I had been informed and had been given the chance to buy the bags when I bought the ticket. It would have been much cheaper to buy a ticket on another carrier once I paid 160 for two small (what would easily fit in overhead). I had a carry on (personal item) so had to pay. Our flight was delayed and the gate was moved several times. We were not kept informed about the weather conditions, the fact that the plane was on the ground, or what time the flight was supposed to arrive after all the delays. The flight crew was too busy visiting with each other to deal with a problem in the seat next to me -- I kept trying to get their attention. A tall man kept his feet in the aisle and, most importantly, he was talking loudly on his cell phone until the plane was barreling down the runway to take off. They had told us to put electronics in flight mode way before that. He just kept talking. I tried to get the crews attention but no problem."
Pros: "Amazing landing considering the horribly bumpy ride"
Cons: "Bumpiest flight I've ever been on. Tons of sick passengers including me. 4 hours late from estimated departure type. Way too cold. Cabin lights not dimmed on a red eye flight. No services."
