Cons: "I was apparently "flagged" by British Airways for extra security checks. As I understood it in London, I was randomly selected for this security check. This then apparently meant that I was to be flagged for all subsequent flights. This meant that in Chicago, after going through two other security checks that day (Zurich and London) and completing customs, I had to engage in a full Homeland security check. This involved removing protective covers from my laptop and phone that were hard to get off (not meant to be taken off regularly) and a full body search that I did not have to do in London. After many hours of traveling, this was very a frustrating experience."

Cons: "British Airways/American Airlines lost/delayed luggage again! Then send an email in the middle of night with a link to schedule home delivery of the luggage that was valid for 4 hours only. It is clearly an attempt to cheat out of their responsibility of home delivery of the luggage that was delayed the second time. Poor, poor service by American Airlines."
Cons: "It was not clear that I needed a different 6 letter code to checkin using the AA website. I finally got frustrated and called AA only to find out the code was different. The codes should have been the same or you should have referenced it on the website when I tried to check in"

Cons: "Baggage claim at IAH took 45 minutes. Incorrect claim area was indicated for first 25 minutes, with over 200 people crowded around 1 claim area with 12 others open. Finally switched and bags took another 20 minutes. Baggage claim always takes over 30 minutes at this airport. Subway is rickety and outdated."

Cons: "On this segment of flights it was an absolute joke. Assigned a center seat along with other 1K members and stuck in the back of the bus. Flight was hot, late and then once to Houston could not get off the plane as there was nobody there to meet us. Priority bags all came off the caraosel last."

It’s the first time in my life that I travel and the airline doesn’t not provide food in the overall cost!, and charging for entertainment:speechless! Pros: "Fast boarding and that's the only good quality. No refreshments or snacks offered without a price tag included. Seats don't recline. Uncomfortable hard seats without any head rests for Support. Small tray tables that won't hold a laptop or drink."
Cons: "It's been 45+ minutes after landing that we have been stuck on the runway unable to dock the plane due to some delays. How Terrible is it that the pilot gets on the radio to say he has no updates or much information to give! People are antsy, children crying and this delays all passengers with other accommodations. Seems like there's no communication or organization from Frontier at all!!'"

Cons: "Shared my row with 500lb people and though two rows ahead of me had two empty seats I couldn't move to be comfortable. This beast of a woman couldn't put her arm rest down and therefore her body was smashing mine the whole time. It was disgusting."

Cons: "The plane was dirty- there was balled up gum wrappers, food wrappers, and bites of food on the airplane floor. To make maters worse the carpet was already stained in multiple spots. My tray table also was dirty with sticky soda that had spilled on a prior flight. I was quite disgusted by the condition of the plane."

Cons: "Charging passengers extra for carryon bags and certain seats is ridiculous. The majority of the plane was empty which means you could have just moved to a different seat (that would have cost $11 more) once everyone boarded the plane. There is really no purpose behind the additional charges and negatively impacts the experience."
Cons: "On flight from Tampa to Chicago nobody charged me for carry on,and on a way back they charged me 60 dollars,so,this is the last time to travel with Frontier"
Pros: "The cost of the flight was very cheap, which is nice when you are flying somewhere far like Chicago to California (usually one way can be over $200). The boarding process and crew were all very nice."
Cons: "You get what you pay for. The seats aren't the most comfortable and you don't have the best legroom. Also, pack light so you can fit everything under the seat and avoid extra costs. Good for some travelers, but not for everyone."
Pros: "They only had one plane, it was weather delayed at its previous airport, then it ariver with mechanical problems. Customer service promised me the flight would be leaving that day, it ended up being cancelled. We were at the airport for 9 hours before they cancelled which meant that rebook in a flight on a different airline cost twice as much and was difficult and could only be done for the next day. Customer service was useless. The gate crews are third party contractors and can't do anything because of frontier's policies. I reported them to Dept of transportation and they keep sending the response that they have too many complaints to respond to and they wI'll get to it eventually."

Terrible delays when returning to Denver on the plane. Was held on the aircraft for 40 minutes before they could get us off. Bad experience. Won't be flying frontier again."

Cons: "Although the plane assigned to our flight arrived at the gate timely, Spirit chose to re-route that plane to a different location. This resulted in a 4.5 hour delay for our scheduled flight. Consequently, I cancelled my ticket and overpaid for a more timely flight to Houston."
Cons: "I had a round trip with Spirit and on the first flight I could take carry on bag for free but on the second flight they sent messages about payment carry on bag $ 45. Also it was dirty on the board and the water they sell for 3$."

Cons: "The bathrooms were disgusting. I understand that the flight crew can only do so much, but they didn't do anything after they were told more than once that the bathrooms were gross. They just gossiped with one another. Also, I am a teacher abroad and have been to many countries in many flights, but this is the first time I have ever been sick in a flight. My head is throbbing from the change of pressure and in all of my years of flying, I have never felt like this. it was a poor experience, and I will be grateful when I don't have to fly with Spirit airlines in the future."

Cons: "I missed the flight, just because they asked me to print the boarding pass. The printing device in airport didn't work and I ended up standing in a line for assistance. They asked me to go through the security check and they promised they sill inform the gate that I am coming. When I reached the gate,I got informed that the flight is on air 15 minutes before the departure time. No refund and no reschedule provided."
Cons: "they were rude and uncooperative. They have no type of customer service. If you ask them a question they are short and direct. If you try to work out to find a solution...they just are plain rude and do not make an effort whatsoever to accommodate their customers. They abide by their ridiculous rules and plainly will not work with you. Besides that they started to charge for separate baggage fees. So you'll but a ticket for "cheap" but then they will charge you double for baggage both ways. My boyfriend purchased a ticket and wanted to make changes...they wanted to charge him $100 to change flight info. RIDICULOUS. He ended buying another ticket....Spirit took $200 in fees extra from us."
