Cons: "I drove 5 hours to get to the airport and unfortunately ended up delayed because of traffic and slow shuttles from parking. I arrived 1 hour before the flight, but security was so slow I didn't get to the gat until 10 minutes before arrival. There were no gate agents present and despite banging on the gateway door and other Delta agents at the adjacent gate, no one helped me. I can only surmise that they had already given away our seats, which were award tickets, GAINED BY BEING A LOYAL DELTA CUSTOMER. The gate agents were unapologetic and useless at rebooking, and I bought a ticket from Southwest instead. As i was trying to get to my sister's wedding, and repeatedly told the agents this, their behavior was particularly abominable. DELTA, YOU'VE LOST A LOYAL CUSTOMER."

Cons: "Checked in Over 2 hours early for the flight and was given the row right next to the bathroom and in front of a screaming infant for a red eye flight. The crew talked, or rather shouted in their back of the plane seats for the entire red eye flight while most of us were trying to sleep. I'm not sure if they were trying to talk over the screaming toddler or the general plane noise but being able to hear every word of their conversation despite the aforementioned and with active noise cancelling on seems unacceptable. They should be trying to control chaos not add to it."

Took WAY too long to get wheelchairs to unload passengers off the plane that was to take us to Dallas. Sat on the tarmac for additional 20 min. I don't know why they don't load the rear seats first so you don't have to wait for everyone ahead to secure their carry-on luggage. Airport personnel confirmed that it is typical or normal for American because they operate with a small "skeleton" ground crew. Flight arrived just after 11:20pm,, but wasn't able to head out for transportation until after 12:30am. VERY upset and disappointed with service."

Cons: "On April 15 we flew from Sacramento to Basel, via Los Angeles and Munich. We did exactly what we were told re reserving seats. We were told to call 23 hrs. in advance to reserve seats. When we tried to follow directions, we were not able to check in. Without checking in, we could not reserve seats. After numerous phone calls, to various numbers, we were not able to check in or reserve seats. By continuing to ask questions, to try and understand, we were told we were "under airport control". This was an "at random" situation and online check in was not available. Only 5 minutes earlier, we were still being instructed to check in online! We had never heard of this. I contacted a neighbor, who flies often internationally and within the U.S. He said it had happened to him once. He agreed that driving to the airport in Sacramento was a wise decision. This is not what we wanted to be doing 1 day before departure. At Sacramento we found a kind gentleman who saw our dilemma and checked us in as a favor. We saw assigned seats. He suggested we request to improve our seats the following travel day. It was a very challenging morning. As I tried to improve our seating the following day I was told, by airport staff, that this happened because we booked through Kayak? Rather with an attitude that we should have booked differently. This was a vacation we had looked forward to for years. I worked hard at not letting this difficult start damage my trip. Upon arrival in Amsterdam, I tried to learn more, to prevent a similar situation on the way home."

Then told to disembark plane and wait for replacement. Boarded it at 8:50, arriving Dallas at 11:50, 3.5 hours late missing all prearranged transportation with 0 apologies. Had to make my own arrangements to complete my trip at significant expense to myself and 0 assistance from Airlines."

Cons: "We were really delayed while on the air plane and the seats were not as comfortable as before. I understand that the delay is not the crews fault but actually DIA, but it was my least favorite part of the trip because it made me late to an appointment in Tucson."

Cons: "Agent at the counter didn't look into my passport properly so when I landed in Dfw they rejected so I couldn't fly international so I had to buy another ticket and fly back to denver. Cost me my time and money which I could have avoided only if your ticket agent checked my passport properly knowing about my international flight. Very disappointed."

Cons: "Plane was scheduled to depart at 8:20 pm it was then delayed until 8:58 pm due to weather. We all boarded the plane and were ready for take off when a maintenance issue was discovered. We all deplaned and we’re told we would be put on a new plane arriving from Seattle set to depart at 11:30 pm. This departure time was delayed until 1:35 am and then 2:35 am because the captain had timed out and we would need to wait for a new pilot. Also due to the first delay everything was coded as “weather” and customer service was unable to give hotel rooms. This miscommunication between corporate and passengers and the late night created lots of frustration. Instead of being helpful or honest customer service called security on the disgruntled passengers. I heard no threats of violence just elevated voices. At midnight Frontier began handing out meal vouchers (15 dollars to McDonald’s) as a way to increase morale. I finally gave up and requested a refund, got a hotel, and a new flight on a different airline (all Frontier flights the next day were sold out). When I asked what would happen to my checked luggage they said it would be sent to Dallas (my destination) or I could pay for it to be sent back to Denver. The flight and my luggage arrived in Dallas at 5:30 am. Paid $400 for Southwest flight the next day (flying into different Dallas airport away from my parked car and luggage) just for the guaranteed service."

Cons: "I had pre checked in but when I got to the gate (on time for the flight but late in the boarding process) they didn't make an announcement for last calls or for any checked in passengers so I missed my flight. They were changing over the signs for the next flight, so it still read my destination, but the time was an hour later so I thought it had been delayed."

Cons: "Kayak screwed up the dates and had me leaving Denver at the same time I was leaving Dallas on the same day."

Cons: "Claustrophobic, charged for everything, no blankets. In the future, I'll pay more to fly with a different carrier. Also, the hard sell at the end of the flight for the credit card was obnoxious beyond compare."

Cons: "I got to the airport in Dallas 2 hours before my 6:55 flight, and at that very moment, received a text that the flight was delayed 3 hours. At that time, there was NO ONE at the Frontier check in to explain what was going on. I understand there was excessive wind in Denver, but there should have at least been a Frontier representative at the gate in Dallas. On my way home, again the flight was delayed by an hour because of something on a previous leg. Because of this, I am going to go with any other airline first. I think Frontier should either co-op with other airlines to get people to their destinations on time or have more planes.......or AT LEAST have someone at the gate to offer next day service or a voucher or a free snack or something. I also do not like the whole A LA CARTE theme with this airline and Spirit Air. I do not like that I was going to be charged for a coffee or a coke. The whole thing is too confusing, and I am going to pay more for an American, United or Southwest flight next time."

Not only do they charge for any and all refreshments, they also charge you to have a carry-on bag. The flight was also very very loud. The cabin rattled and roared for the entire hour and a half flight. We will not be flying Frontier again unless some major upgrades are made."

I was told I had to be rebooked on another flight to the tune of $99 plus $30 baggage fee. Since I had no other choice I rebooked for a flight NINE hours later. After all this I was sent to TWO different WRONG gates nearly missing that flight. At least I got an apology for that. The wrong gate fiasco was because Frontier shares gates with Jet Blue and Spirit. I could not hear the gate change announcements because I am hearing impaired. A lovely way to spend a day in Denver!"

I then had to pay $40 x 2 for my little carry on bag, which was ridiculous. I plan never to fly with you again."

Pros: "Radio went out and the flight was delayed leaving. Also, when has Frontier has started charging for carry ons? I could have gone with Spirit if I'd known that... During the delay passengers were welcome to get off the flight but were reminded several times how much it would cost to rebook if they missed the reloading process ($99.00). After delay the staff was offering complimentary beverages due to the delay...(how much does it really cost to offer water & sodas?) So I would have been charged for a cup of water??? The staff seemed rude and several times I was nudged, slammed, bumped into (I was in an aisle seat) and ever was acknowledged by the crew members who did it. It just seems overall that it was all about the money that the employees are unhappy and that it is not about the satisfaction of the client. First and last time I'll travel with you...."

Cons: "We were about thirty minutes late leaving saying they were still loading bags. We got in late and they told us some bags didn't make it' but to check at the baggage carousel 37. We waited about thirty minutes they then came down and told us none of the bags made it."

Well, no refund. I get a "credit" for free checked bags, which I have to use within the next two months or it expires! How can I possibly afford another ticket, do they think their low prices attract jet-setters? This is actually not a good thing for me, I really am poor (like, I had to give up lunch for a month in order to afford a checked bag, poor), and I am very unhappy about this. I will not fly Spirit again. I hope they enjoy my $60."

We will never, ever, fly your airline again, and will tell everyone how unhappy we were with trying to save a little money with you."

Flight delays, cancellations, and added costs meant I didn't save any money flying with Spirit. I booked a flight from Cleveland to Denver with a lay over in Dallas. My lay over in Dallas was canceled due to weather. I understand that the airline doesn't have any control over the weather but they can control how they treat their customers. The best Spirit could do was offer me a flight to my final destination 21/2 days later. Meaning I would be stuck in Dallas for 2 days and I would have to pay for a hotel out of pocket. I ended up paying for a hotel overnight ($171) and booking a flight first thing in the morning with Frontier airlines ($89). Coming back, once again there was problems in Dallas during my lay over. The flight was delayed 3 hours."

Cons: "The flight was delayed then cancelled. We were given the choice of refund that will arrive a week later or to take a flight a 9 pm tomorrow. The reason for the cancellation was said to me a crew "time-out" that was caused by the rain. There was no other compensation for the cancellation nor did they get ahold of everyone to let them know it was cancelled. After dealing with the gate I found the customer service desk and waited for 2 hours just to talk to someone and was told nothing they could do."

Cons: "There was 1 particular stewardess that I feel was very unprofessional. She was prancing around towards the end of the flight bragging to some young ladies who inquired about becoming a stewardess about how you don't have to know how to swim. That they do not test and she put on her info that she did know how but you just need to know how to float. Did not make me feel confident in the event of a water landing what so ever. Not to mention she was overly cocky and prancing around in the isle. The airfare is cheap but your staff shouldn't be. The other 2 ladies, particular the older 1 worked very hard and was very professional. The younger 2 pretty much stayed congregated in the back by the young woman."
