Pros: Nothing.

Cons: My flight was delayed 7 hours. I never recieved an e-mail letting me know of this even though I gave my email when I bought the tickets so that I would get updates on the flight. I checked the flight status before leaving my house at 2am and the flight was still on time. After driving 2 hours to the airport and going through security I found out that my flight was being delayed 7 hours and no representative was even at the gate to speak with. All I was given was one $14 meal voucher which didn’t even cover a full meal at the airport. It’s told that the issue was mechanical but I later found out that te first flight had been over booked and the 1pm flight didn’t have enough people on it so they made everyone on at 6am flight wait until 1pm to fly out. Once on the plane, the seats were hard and uncomfortable and the plane was cold. I am extremely disasiflied and will never use Spirit again.

Pros: My trip was fine, nothing outstanding, nothing horrible.

Cons: The flight was 2 hours late taking off. That is a bummer especially since you have to be at the airport 2 hours early. Spirit did extend a $50 travel voucher towards a future trip but I would have rather arrived at my destination on time. Luggage fees are pricey...$50 each way for a checked bag. OUCH!

Cons: This was one of the worst flights I've ever taken with perhaps the most apathetic crew I've ever encountered. My departure flight was delayed endlessly–including a 2 hour wait on the tarmac for a gate at my destination. The crew provided almost no information or updates. And the lack of legroom was unhealthy. Also, I was not informed during booking that I'd be charged for a carry-on. That added $70 to my ticket plus seat selection charges.

Pros: The crew was very helpful at each stop even though they weren't responsible for the disasters.

Cons: Initially we thought we were flying with British Airways. We then had to do some digging to realize it was all out of American Airlines. Then we couldn't get proper boarding passes and luggage tags until one of the crew members spent a significant amount of time untangling each leg of our trip so they were in the proper order. We got delayed by 4 hours in Chicago and missed our connection in Manchester. We had another 5 hour wait there. By the time we got to Dublin, our bags didn't also arrive. After almost 24 hours of travel, we arrived but without all of our stuff.

DEN

Okay 4.8

Pros: The crew was nice and they were apologetic. I know it wasn't their fault. They gave status updates every 15 minutes but in the end they were generally 'wrong'. Some people were angry about this but it wasn't their fault. How could it be? They were just repeating what they were told. It's not their fault that their organizers told them incorrect stuff. I sympathized with them more than I usually would because some passengers were such jerks to them. I appreciate that they were keeping us in the loop. We basically knew as much as they knew. It made me feel like we were all in this bad situation together, which we were. They wanted to get home, too. That was the right way to handle this. The actual flight was uneventful. Plane was clean. Seats were about as comfortable as you would expect for the price.

Cons: Where to begin. It was delayed 1.5 hours, then we boarded, waited maybe 30 minutes, then we UNBOARDED because they needed a new plane, then it was delayed AGAIN. When we finally landed in Chicago we were about 5 hours behind schedule. I feel bad for the crew because they were left dealing with angry passengers, I know it wasn't their fault. Just poor corporate planning. In addition I did have a truly mind boggling experience with an employee. We were lined up for our first boarding, in a huge line, having waited for 1.5 hours, and suddenly a woman with multiple bags cut in line. I said "Excuse me ma'am but there IS a line" and she smiled and said "Oh, sorry, I'm an employee". I apologized and she cut everyone and boarded. That's when I realized that she was NOT WORKING THE FLIGHT. She was just using her privilege to cut in line. She cut in front and saved maybe 5 minutes. I mean, why bother. Why bother pissing off paying customers to save 5 minutes. People around me were so angry. Then she got on the flight and held everything up because she needed to load her 4 pieces of luggage into the overhead bin, taking up an entire bin. Flight crew actually moved people's bags to accommodate her. And one of her bags was a full sized suitcase that would never have been allowed if she wasn't an employee. Simply ridiculous, the only thing saving her was that there were open seats. She was not taking a seat from a paying customer. I would say that I wouldn't fly Frontier again but honestly all of the companies suck so I don't know who to pick. Every airline has some story or another of crappy customer service. I wish the barrier for entry wasn't so high so that competitors could swoop in....as much as I dislike the Elon Musk's of the world it would be great if some billionaire swooped in with their money and made an airline that actually worked.

Cons: Once you add in the cost for bags, water, a seat assignment, etc., you've paid just as much as you would on any other airline, BUT you're still stuck with ridiculously tiny, cramped, uncomfortable seats that don't recline, are too narrow, and too close together. Spirit tries to make you believe they are a low cost option, but it's actually a rip off. I should receive 50% of my fare returned to me for the 50% of my seat that was unavailable for me to use because the guy next to me took up his seat plus half of mine. This is because Spirit had its planes designed with more seats crammed in to a small space than the other airlines have. They claim this is what allows them to offer lower fares, but now I have to see a chiropractor because of the twisted position I had to sit in for 4 hours.

Cons: The direct tv screen couldn’t be shutoff. With a plan as big as a 757 there should be a beverage cart per section of the aircraft otherwise passengers at the far end are wondering why they’re being left out.

Mediocre 2.0

Pros: Planes are old as dirt. Flight attendants were unfriendly and unaccommodating and finally, there was a 2.5 hour world wide data transfer systems failure on the last leg of my trip. Have a 12 hour day of surgery followed by appointments. Thank you United. Your airline is a joke and I'm ditching your stupid mileage credit card. I'd rather purchase magazines with my miles than fly with you ever again.

Cons: Absolutely nothing.

Pros: I liked the flight attendants that they were courteous and helpful

Cons: I am a fearful flyer and that is putting it mildly. I didn't like that the pilot didn't introduce himself and talk to us about the flight.

Pros: The staff was friendly and the boarding was orderly

Cons: The economy seats were so squished and everything from movies to food (other than Chex mix) is an additional fee. I'm a small person and still felt like the personal space and leg room was way smaller than it should be. I had to pay $8 to watch cable bc otherwise you just have to look at a screen with ads on it the whole flight. I used to love united. Now I feel like it just sneaks in extra charges like all of the cheap airlines. Not going out of my way to look for united anymore.

Pros: I enjoyed that I had an aisle seat when I chose a random seat instead of paying for one. The crew seemed nice, a little overwhelmed but I had limited interactions with them. Boarding was fine and I was relatively comfortable on the plane.

Cons: I did not like that Frontier allowed for multiple people on the plane to yell and scream about the flight being delayed and how terrible their service was using lewd, degrading language that I felt unconfortable listening to after spending 6+ hours traveling before I even got on the plane! As a holiday traveler I am aware that there are delays and things are congested, maybe I'm the only one. I did not enjoy that I had to be subjected to that while sitting on an airplane that landed 45 minutes before even reaching gate. This continued on to the baggage claim section for another 45 minutes until finally I told the guys to shut up! The 2 men should have had security called on them or taken to another room to air their grievances instead of subjecting the rest of us to their tirade. I was extremely uncomfortable and disappointed in the way Frontier airlines at O'Hare handles disgruntled passengers and will most likely not fly Frontier again despite having a relatively enjoyable flight.

Cons: Everything - best to avoid this airline unless you like poor service, paying for baggage, carry-ons, even for the seat you just purchased. Baggage drop is silly, everyone has a problem and the line to "drop" off is ridiculous. And, expect to be delayed for no particular reason other than Frontier flight operations

Prices are per person and are for e–tickets and include all taxes & fees in USD.

We attempt to get accurate prices, however, prices are not guaranteed.

Here's why:

We’re not the seller.
At KAYAK we don’t set the prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.

We compile tonnes of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we can't guarantee prices we find.

Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car rentals can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find, on occasion, that certain prices are no longer available.
