Because I was told that the seats do not recline, I purchased an upgraded seat in the front. This "big seat".while wider...also did not recline making the overnight journey miserable....and a total waste of extra expense.
I liked that the original price was less, and that you are assigned a seat. This takes away the mad rush to be first in line. Plane and seats looked clean.
1. I had to pay a 42. Fee for each checked bag.
2. Had to pay high fee 3. for a soda. Passed on a snack.
3. Squished seating. Seats do not recline at all.
4. Screaming crying babies and families should be kept at one end of the plane. And passengers should be asked if they want to sit by them.
It was canceled, I did not receive a cancellation email, they could not get me to my destination in time, and I missed my friend's wedding. They kept saying I did not receive the cancellation email because I booked through a third party, if you could work with them to fix that I think it would help future passengers.
Spirit canceled my first flight due to "weather", although every other airline was still flying (including a Southwest flight to the same destination). They sent us to stand in a LONG line with a single woman yelling our options to us. I opted to get rebooked on the same flight tomorrow, stayed in a hotel (paid for out of pocket). The next day, I arrive at the airport and it's canceled again! This time they don't pretend; it was due to lack of crew members. Furious, I booked with Southwest and got home. At the gate, I spent around 35 minutes on hold and then another 25 on the phone to get a partial refund.
This was by far the worst experience I have had with any airline ever.
They eventually put me on another flight with a different carrier for the following morning
Customer service was HORRENDOUS! No one knew what was going on, everyone was being told different things, some of us waited hours in line just to get rejected or told to call the customer service hotline which was backed up 45+ minutes. Definitely the worst flying experience I've ever had in my entire life and i think the rest of the flight would agree with me as well.
We’re not the seller.
At KAYAK we don’t set the prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.
We compile tonnes of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we can't guarantee prices we find.
Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car rentals can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find, on occasion, that certain prices are no longer available.
If you have more questions or if you have a bad price to report to us, please send us an
and someone from our team will get back to you promptly.
