It was okay. Had a thing with the front desk, she had me repack my suitcases to have them be under the weight restrictions, but then the other one was overweight, she argued with me about it when there were tons of people in line. Wasn’t great.

Organization and the adjusted times but the snacks could be of a bigger portion

Smaller plane. Food and bar service for free is amazing. Drinks were in glass not plastic cups.

Our flight was delayed by a bit. I appreciated that we were kept informed on why periodically. Boarding was fine. I overheard one flight attendant sounding very rude to a passenger who was not paying attention to the safety demonstration. The snacks were minimal as it was a short flight. There was no entertainment. Overall the flight was good back to LGA.

All good the seats a little tight and no I pad screen

Just an evening before they canceled my ticket and offered me ticket costing 3 x times more than. I will not fall prey to these scams,Will never book through kayak now. Such a bad experience.

Reserve check-in was very slow compared to regular check-in. Internet was slow

Check in was slow because of passenger ahead in Reserve line. Seats were somewhat uncomfortable.

Porter uses the intelligent and logical way of boarding a plane - from the back.

They really communicated well advised well in advance of a delay. Contacted to tell me it was almost time to go and to do a check in.

The whole staff was amazing. Courteous and so helpful. Smiling all the time.

Excellent flights. On time. Good service. Better than expected food. Comfortable seats. Too much dependent on personal phones for information and entertainment.

Upgrading from premium class to first class caused me to almost miss my seat on the flight. The system “un checked me in”. So I not only lost my first class seat, but my premium seat too so I alsmot didn’t have a seat on the plane. The app did not let me know as it was showing my seat assignment all the way up until boarding began. This exact same thing happened to another passenger. And to top it off, I now have to jump through hoops to get my refund. Awful experience with Alaska, I don’t intend to fly with AA again unless there are no other options.

Good experience, first time flying Alaska Air. Slight delay boarding, but still arrived on time. Excellent leg room! Very friendly flight attendants.

Alaska Airlines was hit with a bad IT outage. I think its a one off and dont want to give a bad feedback to them because of that. In addition, to all the delays our particular flight had a health incident and had to stop midway. Again no negative feedback because of that. However the way they dealt with the delay was not genuine. First the communication was not consistent and always kept changing. I lost a day and $647, completely because of them. They promised a refund which i have complaints about. First it was never given to me. They aksed me to call them or text them and the wait time was 1.56 hour for calls and 3:50 hours for texts. Finally when they texted back, the support executive was rude and asked me to get my refund from Delta the other airline that i booked my ticket because Alaska cancelled their flight. When I asked why Delta would pay me for Alaska’s delay she just ended the chat. To get back on the chat I had to wait for 3.5 hours. I could not. Second they announced that even if they pay us, they would not refund us cash but were giving us a discount on future travel. I vowed never to go back to Alaska so, i do not want the discount refund. Overall, I am terribly unhappy with Alaska Airlines and never going back.

They had us waiting for over an hour to rearrange passengers and luggage for balance, then waiting another hour and half after arrival for luggage only for my bag to have been left behind. The staff weren’t helpful saying that they had to leave the luggage behind because of how many people were on the plane and it wasn’t a full plane. Refused to issue a baggage claim initially then when they did the sent it back home instead of the address provided at my next destination. Terrible.

My flight was cancelled, therefore I missed the bus I was supposed to catch in Reno. and the only new flight that would work at all put me in reno at midnight instead of noon. I was not offered a place to sleep, nor a refund for my missed bus. I’m deeply disappointed by this experience and doubt I’ll fly with Alaska airlines again.

We stayed across the street at the Delta Marriot Hotel. Because check-in was 24 hours in advance, we walked over to the terminal and found that Alaska Airlines was not included on the check-in kiosks. As a result, we stood in line at the counter only to be told that albeit within the 24 hours in advance, we could not be issued a paper boarding pass until the following morning before our 7 a.m. flight. She also suggested we arrive at the airport by 4:00 a.m. to go through security, which we did. In the meantime, I figured out--with several missteps--how to upload our boarding pass, including our passport information--a very challenging procedure. We were also frustrated to see so many people with paper boarding passes, which we were denied. I wish I had remembered the name of the person at the ticket counter.

Would like to access wifi on the plane without paying an additional fee.

Loved the crew and the flight. So easy going, nice seats, plenty of room.

They were fast and I like how they used to entertainment system to play video about the safety.

Given I (and I’m assuming most people) have both carry in and a personal item included in their fare, I find it very unfair that on neither of my flights I was able to use the overhead for my small backpack because they were completely rammed with luggage, people personal items, jackets, hats and other items. So the only item I brought in had to be stuffed under my seat while they had their leg room and sat comfortable with all of their items in the overhead. This has to stop because I was uncomfortable on both flights when I only had one smaller item that could not be checked due to its contents (medication etc). Plenty of people could have checked theirs but chose not to and then took up the space allotment for 2 people.

From pre boarding to flight attendant, crew and baggage handler, excellent. Didn’t lost my luggage like West jet.

The Sears in the 800s are not too good perfect Airbus why cant the new 737 fix that

We Left Calgary 1/2 hour late and that made for a tight connection in Denver. After arriving everything was done to help us make our connection. That was a great effort. Thank You United

The experience was great, the crew was very polite and hospitable. I will definitely make if my go to airlines.

Plane 3 hours late. Missed connection. No help from gate staff. App horrible. Lost connection repeatedly. No service desk. Finally got help from young girl driving cart.

Horrible; seating was atrocious - inadequate leg room and seat width tight even for a small individual. Profits shouldn’t be everything!

I flew basic economy, so it was what I expected. Crew was nice though, and flight was quick. Would recommend for flights under 6 hours, otherwise would upgrade to something with more leg room.

Airline staff was good the checkin process was ok but the plane itself was very bad the comfort was worst it was worst and the most stiff 5 hours of my life i felt claustrophobic

Plane was one hour late. Hardly any space for our carry-ons. Stressful to catch connections.

I like the wider seats, Plus lots of legroom, Lacking entertainment, no tv or screen to play with

8 hrs. Of waiting instead of couple of hours..the only good thing I'm still able to go to my destination...

When flying premium on a two our flight a light lunch would have been nice considering the price you pay. A Kit Kat bar and bag of chips is rather cheap service.

The keg from Edmonton to Toronto My wife found it very cold. Other than that great flight.

We were happy with our experience. The price for tickets was much less than Delta and we actually took off and landed a little ahead of scheduled times.

Friendly helpful crew but that did not make up for cramped, uncomfortable seating. Anyone over 5.5 feet and 150lbs is going to feel crammed into the tiny space they have allotted for seating unless you are a special rewards customer, then you get the properly human size seats. With the outrageous price of flying these days, even in economy, the very least they can do is provide you with a comfortable seating experience. Especially since if there is any kind of delay on the ground you're likely to be stuck there even longer than your scheduled flight time.

Flight itself good .Landing at terminal3 and connections to terminal1,it is connections nightmare, specially for disable person

It was good, flight was on time, boarding was smooth and done in zones, food was good too but there was no form of entertainment. Luggage’s were intact. So an overall good flight

Our recent flight from edmontown to kahalui was excellent. The service staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, funny and attentive. Thanks to all involved that made or travel such a pleasant experience and we hope to fly with west jet again soon

gave me complimentary food as the flight was not full and was attentive to my needs

The staff were helpful with good relationships at all levels.- check in,in flight. BUT 1. The food provided was OK but inadequate supply. 2.in selecting my seat during the preboarding check in,I requested Change of seat which I did BUT without advice was charge $$ for this change!!

Boarded late then sat on the Tarmac for 90 minutes for no reason

The plane was almost an hour delayed and then once we were on board, they said that captain didn’t have enough hours left in his day to fly us so they had to find another captain. Surely that could’ve been figured out out in advance. Incredibly frustrating because I missed my connection in Toronto, and it has a result missed the first day of my conference in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Delayed on tarmac and missed next Air Canada flight by few minutes. Theh should have waited for me.

Terrible… Luggage’s missing for 5-days. Not expedited despite notifying them that insulin and ozempic were in bags and required refrigeration. I’m extremely disappointed. Meds were useless upon delivery as ice pack had dissolved and meds were warm and not useable because their efficacy and potency are now questionable . I’m so disappointed and expecting a full refund for the checked in bags.

Flight issues, landing in Van rough. Attendant on flight to Vancouver was excellent. Delays in Edmonton not your fault but was frustrating

Bad experience flying with air Canada . Seats not comfortable . Checked bag was delayed and was bought home next day by airport employee. Had to buy toiletries since bag was delayed . No compensation was even suggested . Will not fly air canada again

No issues other than paying twice for my seat selection.

I fly all the time for work & am used to seeing "XYZ flight facilitated by XYZ airlines" (or similar) and it's never been an issue. This flight from Edmonton to DFW through Denver was very early - 6 am, international, so at the airport by 3am. The flight was booked on Kayak through Air Canada and the actual flight was supposed to be on United. I didn't receive anything from Air Canada prior to the flight, other than to check in via United app when I tried to find my flight on Air Canada app. The day of, we were all on the plane at 5:45 am, when the pilot came out to let us know that the engine had been leaking for some time, and we were now going to have to deplane and wait for the mechanic to arrive and evaluate. So, we did. Why the flight wasn't cancelled at that point I don't know. After about an hour, sure enough - cancelled, however at that point, it's late already to try and get onto a flight out of Edmonton (YEG) on a weekend, esp. since post-COVID it doesn't seem that YEG has fully recovered in terms of flights and airline availability. Trying to get back to DFW took me the rest of the weekend from Sat am at 6 to Sunday pm - late, included renting a car on my own dime and driving to Calgary (YYC) which has more flight availability, as well as another night's hotel also on my own dime. I found some help on the United app - the chat personnel did try to help find some way home. When I called Air Canada after I couldn't get a flight through United - they were quite rude and short on the phone, letting me know that it was my problem (and United's) not theirs. Since Air Canada booked the ticket and took my money I would expect that if nothing else they would try to be of some help. I am so disappointed in Air Canada and their customer service, btw - my follow-up email to them for some type of resolution or acknowledgement was acknowledged by the system as having been received but as of this point - 5 days later - no response.
