It seemed clear that we would not make our connecting flights, which messes everything up with covid tests, quarantine, and all the many restrictions that airlines have insisted without thinking about the consequences. I tried to share my concern with the agent at American Airlines, knowing that it would probably be better to rebook and start all over for the following week or something. But his limited perspective, condescending attitude, and egotistical control behavior would not listen to me and was only concerned with getting me to the first stop 1.5 hours away. 7hrs later, stuck on that same plane which rerouted and refueled, I am now stuck in a city for 2 days since I had to rebook and start all over for missing my international connecting flight. Still have 20+ more hours of flying to go and nowhere closer to my destination. Hotel, rental, and new covid tests are all at my expense. Just wish American Airlines staff would listen and help, but if you don't shut up and comply to their every demand, they will ban you and ruin your life forever."

To begin with, I selected several flights that were listed, only to have it tell me that this flight is no longer offered, which I assume is engineered to get me to select a more expensive flight. Once I finally found a flight that was still available, I selected it and began the process of providing information and selecting seat assignments. On 2 of the 4 legs of the round trip, there were no more seats available except for upgrade seats, which resulted in an extra $100.00+ in charges. Then when I finished the transaction, I noticed an extra $200.00 charge added. End result was that I ended up paying over double what I would normally pay for this same round trip that I have made many many times. I feel, no I know, that some customer relations person will look at this comment and reply with a pre-generated response apologizing and hoping I have a better experience in the future and thank me for using Kayac. Big companies like yours look at one customer as no big deal. I'm a Physician and have the ability to reach out to multitudes. I'm going to make it my mission in life to reach out to as many people as I can through word of mouth, signs in my office, Internet and social media to let them know about the deplorable practices of your company."

Other airlines give a free drink, but Frontier charges $2. Terrible. And the seats don't recline. In summary for areas to improve: don't charge me for carry on and don't charge me for water. I will also be looking for another online venue to buy my next tickets, we thought we were going to get a great deal (round trip tickets for two people for around $680) but instead will end up paying in the neighborhood of $885. Kayak let us down big time."

Cons: "They started boarding and then stopped so we were stuck in the breezeway. Then we sat on the plane for what seemed like forever. The crew were not approachable and helpful. The plane was freezing!!"
Cons: "This flight was delayed several times. I requested a cancellation of my flight due to the delayed arrival would result in major difficulty due to arriving in destination after midnight. Frontier representative would not budge on their fee of $99 for a cancellation fee. We arrived after 1 am, therefore agency where I had reserved auto was closed, so I had to book a hotel close to airport. I have flown with Frontier a few times, and each time there has been delays of 30-90 minutes. This has resulted in major inconveniences, missed appointments and some unsafe conditions."
Pros: "Absolutely Nothing!"
Cons: "Our flight was cancelled. There were over 200 people waiting at the ticket counter and there were only TWO agents to take care of all the problems!!! When I tried to call Frontier, all their lines were busy and I kept getting disconnected due to the high volume...wasn't even put on hold. When I tried booking a flight online for the next day, it said all the flights were full. During all this chaos, no one told us how or wahere we were supposed to retrieve our luggage, what options we had...NOTHING!!! We even asked the ticketing personnel to announce where people could retrieve their luggage...their response was "I guess we could do that"...but they never did! We ended up booking a last minute flight on another airline that cost us a ton of money. So, while Fromtier bills themselves as a low cost airline, one glitch and they fall apart on the service side and you end up paying A LOT more. Also, watch out for all the extra fees they charge you. Their initial price looks great, but I had to pay $30 for a carry-on bag! Had to pay additional money for a seat in coach! They nickel and dime you to death and it ends up costing the same as the other full price carriers. BUYER BEWARE!!!"
Pros: "I liked the lady pilot but she was almost too nice...shouldn't sound so apologetic about weather or mechanical delays which are out of her control or for the passengers' safety. Comfort was as expected. Boarding was pretty smooth. (But de-boarding and re-boarding was a pretty disruptive fiasco.)"
Cons: "What entertainment? What food? Or do you mean 'snack and drink choices for purchase'? (Didn't purchase anything b/c not to my liking but...l think probably for most, okay.) The crew, for the most part, with what they have to work with (mostly information, no real service except to sell snacks, etc), they were fine and kept mainly to themselves."
Pros: "Someone on the flight had the Flu and my wife some friends end up with it."

Cons: "The pilot saying they would go fast and ant other w as you they could to make up time. I 5hink everyone knows acciders happen when you rush and don't follow normal protocol. Maybe I am the only one that doesn't like anew attendant that jokes about safety."

Cons: "Additional charges, seat, checked bag, 2nd carry on. Checked bag was higher for the trip home. Added $89 to my cost which made the price the same as an airline that allows baggage for free with free drink/snacks and roomier/ reclining seats."

Pros: "Flight was delayed about 3 hours. First was a delay of 1 and half hours for maintenance, then they brought a different plane. Then we were delayed an hour on the tarmack for an hour due to weather. Not their fault But all we were offered was water. Brew was very nice. Just really felt that due to "double whammy". Should have at least got a coke. They also charge $40 for carry on bag. Really."

Cons: "We bought four tickets including one for my two year old Grandaughter. She spilled granola under her seat. The make flight attendant asked my daughter if he should get her a bag so she could clean it up? My daughter said so you want me to get on my hands and knees and clean it? He said there was no one to clean it. Then when we were walking out I overheard the female flight attendant tell the make flight attendant she had an attitude. We managed to keep her sitting down and quiet tge majority of the flight. What exactly to they expect from a 25 month old toddler? Also we should have been made aware that the checked bag fee would go up if not booked with our ticket. A 199# increase is substantial."

Got into the airport at 7 something am and didn't make it on a flight to New Orleans until 9 layover Florida. Staff wasn't easy to work with I would've paid hundreds extra for a better experience"
Cons: "Flight was cancelled with no reason given, it took almost an hour to call and get my return trip cancelled because the website would not allow me to change my flight. Representative tried to reschedule me for a 12 hour trip when the original flight was 2.5 hours before finally cancelling my trip all together. Spirit ended up costing me $150 more than had I booked with another airline at the beginning because I was left having to purchase a ticket day of on a competitor."
Cons: "they were rude and uncooperative. They have no type of customer service. If you ask them a question they are short and direct. If you try to work out to find a solution...they just are plain rude and do not make an effort whatsoever to accommodate their customers. They abide by their ridiculous rules and plainly will not work with you. Besides that they started to charge for separate baggage fees. So you'll but a ticket for "cheap" but then they will charge you double for baggage both ways. My boyfriend purchased a ticket and wanted to make changes...they wanted to charge him $100 to change flight info. RIDICULOUS. He ended buying another ticket....Spirit took $200 in fees extra from us."

Pros: "I was kept in line until it was too late to allow me to get a boarding pass. The 3 groups of travelers before me took an unusually long time as they could not understand why they were not allowed to get boarding passes. The CS Manager did direct me to an airline that I was able to buy full price ticket from."
Cons: "The same excuse was given to every traveler that was in the line with me. I listened to it explained to at least 10 travelers that day. Since that time, I have yet to hear any positive feedback from anyone that travels frequently. You seem to pray on people that do not travel often. The ticket that was purchased for this fight was bought by my wife. She was trying to do me a favor. The majority of passengers seemed to be inexperienced flyers, maybe gravitating towards the cheap fare? VERY annoying, needy, chatty, panickey at take off and landing. Not a pleasant environment."

I was just sitting there and I think he was stretching back into my long legs. Really, there was nothing I could do because there was no room to move my legs out of his way. And the airline DIDNT EVEN OFFER WATER! And let's not forget that we weren't told ahead of time they charge for carry-on bags, so our affordable tickets went up $110 in cost. I will never fly Spirit again."

Saved the airline money on a courier from Houston to Galveston. I still don't have my clothes will pick them up at the ship. I called them to see if they would comp all my luggage on the way back but they wouldn't. I will never fly spirit airlines again. Thought I was getting a good deal on the flight but didn't with there expensive bag check on policy. $166 for three bags then I have to pay the same on the way home. What a rip off"

The extra fees on my flight cost $250.00. You can only purchase food on the plane with a debit card. nothing is free. When you factor that in with the cost of the ticket, the price isn't much lower than other airlines that include the extras in the price."

I hoped to get some decent sleep before getting up at 5 am to get ready for work."
