The flight was just fine

The main problem was that when I checked in online, I tried to add on more piece of luggage—for a total of 2 checked in. But the computer ended up totaling it as 3 pieces of luggage. There seemed to be no way to change this online. So I asked them to change it when I got to the airport, but they wouldn’t. What was done couldn’t be changed. Another issue I have is with this review questionnaire. They are questions for rating the food and entertainment which the airlines don’t provide anymore. These should be removed from the survey. They should, however, ask how was the process of making the reservation, check-in, and customer service in general. Both from the airline, and any third party service like kayak or kiwi. I’m not satisfied with kiwi as they were closed when I tried to call them. So I had to just fend for myself and spend money needlessly.

Three hours delay. I paid for a upgrade to first class. But because of the flight change i didn't get to keep my upgrade and I had to beg for a refund. I have had two trips in the past 5 days and all flights have been anywhere from 1 to 3 hours late. Worst experience with AA I have had in a long time.

I was able to do everything with the APP, from buuing my ticket thru Boarding, which was great since they gave priority boarding to digital pass, like mine and overall easy and fast. I weight around 250 lb and 1.80 height and didn’t felt my seat any more cramped than flying with anyother carrier, actually was quite confortable. Flight time was only 25 mins (as expected) without any delays. Thankfully I’ve never had any bad issues with Volaris even thou it’s a low budget carrier, their service has always been really great for me and expect to pay for everything, but that’s how things are with these kind of airlines, but they’ll let you bring whatever you want on board, wheter you previously brought in your luggage or bought at any restaurant/shop at the airport.

To be fair, Food or Entertainment wasn’t available due to been a very short flight, which is understandable, so there wasn’t any negative issues.

The flight ended up canceling. There was no explanation given and no accommodations to reschedule. It was a Friday and the earliest they could fly us out was Sunday, we were scheduled to fly back Monday. There wasn’t even an apology or attempt to get us on another flight. We walked ourselves over to the frontier counter where they were willing to help us figure something out. That flight actually ended up delayed and they gave us vouchers for the delay so we would fly with them again in the future. The airlines are a service industry and spirit gets a 0 in my eyes.

On board service, entertainment and food was a nice surprise. Wine and beer offered free of charge with the meal, great movie selection without charge as well and very helpful crew during the boarding process. Seats in economy had plenty of leg room and space on the sides.

Food was good and better than my experience with other airlines but still not as good as it use to be a few years ago.

2 problems - there wasn't enough time scheduled between my connection in mexico city when i was coming from florida to get through customs so I missed my connection and there wasn't any aeromexico staff around to assist. - the personal screens in each seat on the last flight from Mx city to Guadalajara couldn't be shut off and I was forced to have commercials being flashed very close in front of my face when I wanted to relax.

First class was nice onboard the plane, but too tired to enjoy it since it was a 1am flight.

The counters did not open until 10pm, only 2hrs B4 "the flight closed at 12 midnight), even though they say arrive 180 minutes early. The "SkyPriority" line was the slowest line. At the outset two agents weren't even helping guests. This was a very frustrating experience. Unfortunately, I had to pickup and recheck my bag and ended up waiting outside security for several hours because there was no where to drop the bag after passing immigration from my connecting flight. I suggest AM get another airline's baggage handler to recheck bags for early arriving customers so at least they can wait inside security where amenities abound.

Great experience overall on this flight, only problem was that my lie-flat seat was broken and would only recline. Good food, great crew. Staff at Aeromexico Premier Salon Lounge were OUTSTANDING! Food could have more assortment, but was better than most lounges in the USA.

MEX airport desperate need renovation. It looks like something from the 60's that hasn't been maintained well. Not up to standard for a country's Capital City.

I already knew I was going to pay $200 to ship my boards back home (I wonder if golf clubs which are roughly the same size cost as much,) but when pre-purchasing through the app for an "oversized" bag you have to put a "one" in the checked bag and a "one" in the oversized bag even though they're the same bag, but then they charge you for two, and when you tell the check-in person that you only have one bag of course they can't issue a refund. No, they tell you that you get to call customer service when you return home.

The seats were very comfortable with a fresh package of pillow/blanket and earphones waiting for us. A free meal, and snack. The take-off and landing were timely.

The bathroom was the worst I have ever seen. Old urine splattered on the seat (it had to have been left uncleaned from an earlier flight). There was no soap, The floor as still wet from urine and tp was still there. I was disguisted. Also there were only one bathroom in the back of the plane, which must have been a way to get more available seats. If other airplanes take that tactic, I'll stop flying altogether.

Cheap ticket prices.

Flight was changed to 3 days later than we were supposed to leave. Not able to reach customer service. Kiosks in Mexico City have no idea what is happening, I had to raise my voice for someone flying to help translate. Horrible old planes with tiniest seating. Never again.

Ticket prices

On our flight back they were weighing bags as we were in line to board and charging people who had no idea their bag was over weight. The crew came off somewhat rude and annoyed when asked questions. flight left 30 minutes after scheduled departure. Food and drinks were both charged when I can pay a little more on another airline and get it for free. Lines for bag drop off are ridiculously long and not organized. Charging service fee for help to get a boarding pass is uncalled for, since many older people are traveling.

The staff were fine, nothing really great, but nothing bad either.

So, we'll start with boarding. Why airlines can't figure out to board the plane from back to front is beyond me. No, let's load front to back so everyone has to uncomfortably shove past the people who have already taken their seats at the front of the plane. Then you get back there and all the overhead bins are full because everyone takes as many bags as possible onto the plane. Then you have to sacrifice the already tiny amount of foot room, "to put the bag fully underneath the seat in front of you." At this point you should be fine, except if you're over five and a half feet tall (I don't know if that's true I'm 6'2" and 275 lbs,) because then your knees are going to be buried so deep in the chair in front of you that the person up there doesn't even need a seat they can just sit on your knees. Luckily for you tall people, they put a nice metal rod just about knee level to really dig in and cause pain . . . Yay! Being a big guy, you try to be considerate and fold your arms in to give the person next to you as much space as possible, but don't expect that back as they'll spread out and become as wide as possible. Then to distract yourself from the discomfort, you try to use the free in flight entertainment via the United app, but "it's not available right now." In summation either be short and small or be rich and buy the seats with extra legroom when you fly United.

I have had two trips in the past 5 days and all flights have been anywhere from 1 to 3 hours late. Worst experience with AA I have had in a long time.

Uncomfortable, small, seat space with inadequate legroom. Lack of personal entertainment options. Paid extra for earlier boarding group which only benefited me by about 5 people. (NOT WORTH IT!) Lack of complimentary food options. (Pay for everything)

The flight ended up canceling. There was no explanation given and no accommodations to reschedule. It was a Friday and the earliest they could fly us out was Sunday, we were scheduled to fly back Monday. There wasn’t even an apology or attempt to get us on another flight. We walked ourselves over to the frontier counter where they were willing to help us figure something out. That flight actually ended up delayed and they gave us vouchers for the delay so we would fly with them again in the future. The airlines are a service industry and spirit gets a 0 in my eyes.
