Cons: "The 2.5 hour flight from MIA to NYC was delayed four hours. The gate was changed about four times and the plane that finally arrived was older and had zero outlets. We were not given the option of headphones. Mainly the flights delay was the absolute worst. In 2021 a flight from NYC to MIA is basically a commuter flight and both ways my flights were delayed such incredible amounts of time."

They were unpleasant and onboard crew not much better and demanding with passengers when people tried to stow their luggage. As a teacher of young students we’ve all focused on empathy and Jet Blue could do the same with their passengers."

I have been making this trip regularly and had not flown Jet Blue in a while, I thought I would give it a try… Not again, I’m going back to Delta who just seem a more friendly crew who go out their way to thank the customers and are grateful for a person choosing their airline."

Cons: "My mom was supposed to take a JetBlue flight on 06/10/21 at 11:00pm. They called us, saying that the fight was delayed 4 hours. Meaning that she wasn’t going to make it to her next flight to Boston. We ended up changing the whole trip for the next day on Friday. When my mom got the la aurora airport no one told her that the flight was delayed again. But I could see it in my app. The flight ended up being late again and my mom missed her flight to Boston; and they wanted her to wait for more than 10 hours at the airport. And this is just now, my self and my mom had horrible experience with JetBlue before too. It is always one thing after the other, very sad!!"

Cons: "I want to complain about my experience on your Flight #1206 from PDX to JFX the plane is severely outdated. It doesn’t even look like a JetBlue plane. My tv doesn’t work as did a few others on board. We were told by the steward they were already reset and they just don’t work. That’s really unacceptable and a-shame. I could of flown whatever airline if I wanted to be uncomfortable for a 5 hour flight. I’m very disappointed with this. I have tried to go through your website to voice the issue but conveniently it doesn’t process after I fill out the required information. Your Twitter help team offered me $15 credit for my inconvenience wow what a way to help a customer what’s that not even a checked bag on one of your flights. What a joke. Very unhappy and I fly JetBlue often. Sad."

Cons: "My first flight was delayed an hour due to pilot error (we left the gate on time, but sat on the tarmac for an hour). This caused me to miss my connecting flight, which stranded me at JFK because they only had one flight per day to my destination. JetBlue's customer service told me I could not reach my destination until the next day, which was unacceptable (I had a morning interview). In fact, the only thing they said they could do was *PARTIALLY* refund my ticket, even though they stranded me in a completely different city. They also said I would "be able to" book a new flight with a different carrier, which cost roughly $400, using my own money. In the end, I spent about an hour talking with customer service until they were "nice enough" to do a partial refund with an additional credit equaling the remainder of my $400 ticket to fly with them in the future. It was still a very poor interaction with customer service."

Too much waiting after a long flight. I fly to NYC all the time and I’m usually in the city one hour after I land and it took 2 hours 15 min to get to Queens. Usually I have great flights with JetBlue. Last night was not the case. You get a C."

Cons: "The earbuds are terrible, I personally don't do well with that style - i would do research to see what the most universal type head phones are used because these were the worst. Also the control to my entertainment was on the right side, where the middle person kept changing my channels and volume. I would have liked for it to be on maybe the left side where no one else could touch it. (I sat at a window seat) The guy next to me fell asleep and so it was super hard to get to my controller (although there is one on the computer, he was still messing with it with his elbow)."

But Jose was the staff member that was closest to my seat and he was amazing! Funny, pleasant, great customer service! He made the difference in what could have been the plane ride from hell. Cons: "When I booked my trip, I picked out seats but when I checked in, there was no seat on my boarding pass. So when I went to the gate they had my name on the top of the list and gave me a new boarding pass with a seat. When I got to that seat, someone was already sitting in that seat and when I looked at the boarding pass, it wasn't even my name that was on it. The stewardess found me another seat in row 24. Then when the tv did not work the whole flight. On top of that there was a screaming child most of the flight, which of course I saw not the fault of anyone. Needless to say I'm happy to be home"

Cons: "The flight was cancelled 4hrs after being boarded at JFK. We understand that such things happen. It’s the situation and handling after was very unprofessional. we were told to collect our bags and go to check in counter and collect our next bookings but instead after collecting check ins we were just given meal ticket and hotel address and given a toll free number to call which is very inappropriate. It should become your responsibility to rebook ya but not leaving it on us to call some number and wait. Though I called and I was told that I was not deboarded to rebook me. For which I tried to go and find an Emirates personnel who refused to talk to the Emirates guy on phone to explain and would just refuse to talk to me. Imagine yourself carrying two check ins and a carry one and running around just to try to get somebody to answer. Mr. Munit on phone was kind enough to be on talk and hold for about 40mins with me. It still ended up unable to book at that time. I was going to India for two day period and my one day had to be spent over in JFK. As humans it’s not the technical difficulty that was an issues it’s the Emirates crews at jfk inability to properly respond and answer arrogantly was the issue. One person instead of answering the questions of an old man was very rude and just blubbered “can’t you just listen to me” that was very inappropriate. It should be her responsibility to listen first. I have always flew Emirates and inflight crew are always very patient and good. This experience makes me think otherwise."

Cons: "Upon boarding an odor of vomit was obvious. An attendant announced that a previous passenger had been sick in the row and there was no time to adequately clean it. There was only one food option available for purchase. Neither the overhead reading light or entertainment system at my seat worked. The first attendant I approached told me she could find me a seat in the back of the plane. I declined as I reserved a seat in the front of the plane in order to deplane and go through customs swiftly. I was then offered a seat directly behind the row where the passenger had vomited. Eventually, a different attendant placed me in a seat nearer the front of the place where both the light and entertainment system worked."

He asked me whether he could remain in my seat given his discomfort in the seat to which he was reassigned, which was a middle seat. I could have said no, but it was clear that it made most sense for me to sit in the middle seat (the window seat was already taken and it would have been a tight fit otherwise). Though I appreciate that the folks affected by the flight cancellation were accommodated on my flight, I hope in future the seat reassignments can also be taken into account. Also, I think slightly healthier food would be nice (chips vs cookies). Thanks."

I don't fly everyday, so why would you expect me to know where everything is and exactly how your process works? The emotional exchange at the airport when I checked my bag. I was the only person in line and there were two JB employees behind the counter who were more interested in their social conversation than in assisting me. I made a simple request for assistance and was immediately blown off. I can't complain enough about this."

Cons: "Everything except leg room. First, your team never offered beverages. When I asked them about it, they said that they didn't want to wake anyone ... really? Like the whole plane? It's a red eye flight ... I'm sure most would take at least a water. Meanwhile First Class was served every two minutes for everything they wanted ... and us folks that make up the rest of the plane ... we don't count? So, everyone basically went to the fridge to get drinks. Water wasn't even offered ... huh? Also, your seats were ridiculously crammed ... extremely uncomfortable. Other than that, I'm glad we made it to New York."

Pros: "The one thing I liked was the expedited service I got because my brother needed a wheelchair. The comfort of the plane was really nice as well, one of the best flights I had in a while."
Cons: "What I didn’t like was how my flight got cancelled and the only flight I was able to get was 4 days later. So I was stuck in the Dominican Republic for a total of two weeks!! I had to miss another weekend at work which made me lose a lot of money since I’m a barber and lost some one my clientele. On top of my flight being cancelled it also got delayed again but only by 30 minutes so I wasn’t so upset. When it came to the boarding, that had to be the slowest boarding I’ve went through. The gate seemed very behind on the technology and that caused the workers to work even slower. At times they had to step away and go on their monitor to fix something out so it took an extra 30 minutes before I even got into my seat, and I was sitting in row 6 of the plane. Then after everyone was seated the flight got held back an extra half hour because a lady wanted to file a complaint saying that she got pushed and ended up being the only person that got kicked off the flight so she did it all for nothing. So with everything happening, our flight got delayed an hour and a half. Very disappointed.."

Cons: "For that size of airplane basing on the fact that it was an international flight not having a USB port or any power source by the seats it’s ridiculous. The boarding process was a nightmare, very disorganized the crew members starting boarding group by group just using ONE of the two entrances available because of it the line to board the plan occupied almost 2 boarding gates. I couldn’t reclaim my seat because it was broke, the quality of the food was very mediocre, crew members attitude were upsetting... uncaring and ignoring passengers call. Another filthy plain ... I had 4 flights with avianca between 2 International fights and 2 national connections, all flights were terrible! The worse part is I probably could’ve flight more comfortable for less money or at least get what I paid for."

Cons: "On Feb 26th we had a flight leaving Bogota back to NYC, and at the gate, we found out our flight would not be operated by Avianca, but by a Spanish carrier called WAMOS. Wamos airlines does not offer in-flight entertainment. It offers an app that you can download on your mobile device prior the flight, even though there are no plugs inside the plane and no fully reclining seats. This change is being caused by an ongoing strike action by some of their own pilots and this has been regarded with absolute no consideration from Avianca to its costumers. At the airport we talked to 3 different customer services employees, all giving us different versions of the story and no clear answers. One employee told us that we MAY have a possibility of reimbursement and another one that we could stay in a hotel and catch another flight the next day (which was not an option for us) There was no advance warning about this change to me (not even during check-in) Found out later some passengers gotten an email informing about this change, but not all of them. Staff didn't know anything about this flight. The gate staff only informed passengers of the change, after I complained, and kept insisting that the airplanes were the same, when clearly it was not the same quality, in amenities and service on board. There were big delays and a mess with seat assignments. Many customers traveling together with separated seats and of course, delays in departure caused by the mess that Avianca caused. Just to be clear. what Avianca is doing is stealing the money that we paid for a specific flight, to voluntary change us to a much less inferior flight, with absolutely no consideration and no compensations."

Pros: "We loved everything about the airline we have been traveling with Avianca for several years now and we love it , definitely no other airline has the quality of service and professionalism as Avianca does."

Cons: "The passengers on this flight from San Salvador to LAX were drunk and standing in the aisles and talking VERY loudly for nearly the duration of the 4.5 hour flight, and the crew did nothing about it. I asked the crew (a grumpy male flight attendant) if they are allowed to do that, and he merely grunted. The female flight attendants smiled at the large men drinking in the aisles and continued to bring them drinks. My boyfriend had a large man's butt in his face for the duration of the flight. Behind us a man was talking very loudly and obnoxiously about his travels to the point where his voice woke us up. The crew did NOTHING to mitigate the obnoxious behavior of the passengers, and allowed them to stand in the aisle for the whole flight, to the point where we felt claustrophobic and invaded upon. We were particularly surprised as we've heard that this violates airline policy AND the crew did nothing to even ask them to sit or to move to the back of the plane. In addition, it was very hot at the AC was not working above our seats."

Cons: "After all these connecting flights especially after being delayed in Cali, the flight in Bogota was delayed and the Avianca crew did not announce it. After realizing it was time for boarding according to the time that I needed to be at the gate from my ticket, that's when people were realizing there was an issue. Once I got to the podium and handed my tickets the staff handed a voucher. There wasn't a hello, we're sorry for the inconvenience or the reason why the flight was delayed 2 hours. I had to ask them why what happened, what is the voucher for, how does it work, what time we were expected to be at the gate. The staff made everyone aware that we needed to be at the gate at 4pm so we can depart at 445pm. The food was okay and the staff looked a little annoyed when serving drinks. I shouldn't say all of the crew but from the back half of the plane the staff looked annoyed if not bothered. Didn't get to NYC until 12am, but had to wait on the runway for an additional 20 minutes. Again no communication on what was going on."

Cons: "I took two separate flights with Avianca three months apart from NY to Ecuador. BOTH times the airline had delays of over 3 hours. The first time the connecting flight was canceled and all of us passengers were running around the airport trying to find out where to go. The new flight didn't leave until much later that night. Three months later, the connecting flight back to new York was delayed from 3pm to after 6pm and had a gate change without notification by the airline to the waiting passengers. I was not the only one upset by this. We were not compensated in any way for these delays. Quality of service seems to not be high on their list of priorities at all. I WILL NEVER fly Avianca again and I want at least a partial refund! I strongly suggest going with a competitor if you can."

When I was at the airport I asked the clerked for specific information ,I asked him how much it would cost to take my surfboards if it was going to be to expensive I would just leave them home ,he said no problem that there would be a charge of.$120_150 and it cover the trip until denpasar ,I asked are you sure?he said YES that he would put it on the note and that if I had any problems in NY to just show them the receipt well no need to say.that.when I arrived in NY I was charged again ,the cs rep of the other airline said they wouldn't have charged if avuanca would have put that the surfboard was going until denpasanr when we said that he had done it we looked stupid because he had just checked our bags on the tag until Bali but not the surfboard. So now I have to return and I'm working if I will have.to.end up paying.$1000 in.total.just for my surfboard.when this could have been avoided from the start if the cs rep of Avianca would have told.me the truth or know how to do his Job. What solution can you give ,I feel very annoyed. Thank you"

When I told them a second time, they said to me there was nothing they can do. But coincidencially, right after I was told, he sat one passanger whom have not seat assigned, right in front of me on the emergency exit. The attendant said minors cant go there which is true, but I would have seated there, and my daughter on the sit that I was which was right behind me. That plus another rude encounter with one of the flight attendants when I was getting into the plane made of my experience with Copa Airlines my first and only trip with them. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE."
