Start with the boarding experience. Our flight from Seattle to Dulles Airport in Virginia was delayed because of mechanical issues with the aircraft. Nothing we could do about that. But the board in the passenger gate waiting area gave a boarding time with the delay, and we watched that. The waiting area was large, and we could not understand anything the gate attendant announced. By the time we four passenger realized the aircraft was boarding before the displayed time, we had missed our board-first opportunity (we were flying full-price First Class) and we were behind all the "Category B" boarders. we had one carry-on bag, and when we finally reached our row, all the overhead bins were full. The flight attendant had to remove some stuff to make room for our bag. He also announced that anyone on the flight could stuff their bag wherever they chose. Second, the food was terrible. I don't believe I have ever had choices that were so poorly conceived, especially in First Class, and I have flown to sixty-five countries. Third, the aircraft itself, a Boeing 737-900, is a pitiful excuse for comfort. Unlike the Airbus on which we flew to-and-from Honolulu to Seattle, the seats did not recline much, and other than a bit more leg room, there was no advantage to having paid the premium to fly Fist Class. I can assure you that we will never willingly fly Alaska Airlines again.
Boarding was slow, but that was my fault for not getting in line sooner (missed the pre-boarding). Other than that everything was a 10!
Cheeseburger was good, but other sides were awful. Attendents were great! Flight was good, except for changing gates 4 times and flight being delayed over an hour..
The flight attendant for first class was excellent. Very attentive to the needs of the passengers The time scheduled for the connection flight on to Kona was too short and we missed that flight. But another flight was only an hour later. But it should have been scheduled that was in the first place.
The fight attendant for the first class cabin was outstanding. Very attentive and cared excellently for the passengers. Very smooth flight and landing. I used my iPAD and my own apps for entertainment, but I think a service including inflight entertainment will be better for some.
Didn’t call First Class passengers, called priority boarding. I’m old, I was listening for First Class. Family in row 3 made the flight annoying. Out of control child, father the kept getting into to overhead slamming it shut, blocked the isle for a solid 45 seconds during de boarding. Then blocked the door getting off the aircraft. These people should seriously be fined for their behavior, I didn’t splurge on First Class tickets to deal with such things.
The flight attendant and first class were very friendly, efficient, and wanted to make sure that service was great. Highly recommend this airline.
It was a pleasant experience. Considering we paid over $3000 for first class there really wasn’t anything special about first class. All the seats looked the same and everyone got the same great customer service. The only thing that was different between first class and couch was the drinks and the meal. We wouldn’t waste that much $ on first class on that plane again.

Paid for first class, but the flight attendant for first class did the minimum required. She really ever came to pick up the trash, and never asked if we needed anything. Every person had to ring for the flight attendants if they wanted any extra drinks. When I went back to use the restroom, she was just sitting on her phone.
Overall great! Internet was a little slow but no other issues.
Horrible communication from Southwest. No accountability. Flight was delayed for 4 hours and TSA closed in the interim. We were not allowed to our gate. Southwest knew this information and did not relay to their customers to arrive to the airport earlier.
The crew was very kind and made going to Hawaii relaxing and fun to look forward to! Thank you Southwest for a pleasant flight!
I liked the crew member who gave flight instructions on "in case of a problem:. The seats are so small that only a young teenager could sit in middle seat.
I recently flew Southwest from San Jose to Honolulu. I was very impressed with the flight crew, especially the flight attendant in charge of the front of the plane. She came through the aisle at least five times for drinks and water, and two times for snacks. I have not seen such service since I flew first class. Also, for the first time, they gave us the correct baggage claim number, and the luggage came out quickly. I can't wait for Southwest to have assigned seating! I absolutely hate the Cattle Call boarding procedure and the mad dash to get seats and overhead bins. However, the boarding was efficient.

Boarding was well explained and smooth. The flight was short, so there was no time for snacks. They did offer water or juice, though.
The flight was very short, 45 mins, therefore no snacks/drinks were provided; there should be a NA option for food and entertainment survey questions. Also, there were no charging ports onboard for cell phones. My experience was overall positive.
Price was right. Add power to the seats, television, larger plane to accommodate a long flight to improve mental health and overall comfort for a 5 hour flight.
The first class flight attendant was awful to everyone. Very rude; no customer service. She should not be working in first class.

Delta flights recently are always delayed AND at jfk tney get the gates further away (need To walk 20’ to get to them/all the way at the end of the terminal). Not sure whats happening but price doesnt match experience!
bulkhead seat had very little legroom - even in bsiness class.
The plane was an older model, so it wasn’t as comfortable as others. The flight attendants were not helpful during onboarding. It was a full flight so there was chaos finding space for baggage.
I understand that both Hawaiian and Alaskan are in the process of merging but I could not get real-time flight info or access my boarding pass on either app

The flight from HON to Hilo caused a few problems, but we were helped by the checking agent at Hawaiian Airlines with tech assistance. My wife & I are in our 70's and not QR code savvy. But we are learning.

Overall, the experience was good, but not special in any way. Fortunately, the flight was quite short. There was no one at the check-in kiosks to answer questions or help. The top of my armrest fell off when I grabbed it to stand up. One hates to see the plane falling apart!

I traveled first class for the first time. The flight from Portland to Honolulu was wonderful. First class was roomy. The seats folded down into a bed. The meal and service were excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The hop from Honolulu to Lihue hadn't much difference between 1st class and coach. But the flight was brief. My departing flight from Lihue to Honolulu was cancelled at the last minute. In order to get home the same day, though about 3 hours later. I was rerouted to Maui and then to Portland. Those flights had no first class seats available, but my only alternative was to stay in Lihue for another day. I was told I would be refunded for that portion of the trip. I was disappointed, but I noticed the 1st class accommodations on the flight from Maui to Portland were not even close to the special experience I had coming from Portland to Lihue. I am curious now about how to select flights that have top notch 1st class accommodations. Can you help?
Flight pulled out on time but sat on runway for 30 mins. It was extremely cold in the aircraft despite wearing a winter coat. Surprisingly they had a vegetarian meal but could have some better snack choices for a 8 hour flight.
For a 5 1/2 hour flite i considered the "business class" to be subpar. The seats were just ok, no amenities, really nothing more than a long domestic flight. Frankly disappointed.
More choices on snacks. Built-in video screen to enjoy entertainment choices.
