Cons: "My first flight was over booked and I was nice enough to give up my seat, however Alaskan gave me a $250. Voucher for another time. But my frustration with the flight that I was put on to Seattle and the continuing flight from Seattle to Burbank was delayed and not arriving for another hour late at 10:45pm, therefore I had to make other arrangements for a ride home from the Burbank airport costing me more money to pay and Uber ride back home to Simi Valley. Getting home way later than I would’ve liked to (11:45pm) considering I have to be at work at 6am. So I wasn’t too pleased with the flight delays"

But, again, why do I need to use my own device? Back of the chair that faced me was dirty and had food residue on it— hard to clean with only 5 minutes between disembarking and loaded next set of passengers."

The return flight from San Jose was wonderful. I got upgraded to an elite seat, better than the one I paid for, had a very nice seat companion and got my snack and a complimentary drink. I wish the trip had been longer. I have only had good experiences on my Alaska Air flights. About 5 now. Staff also very nice."

Cons: "Check in staff at Assistance counters either had problems with their computers or couldn't understand reservations. We had a pet for which we had paid for round trip reservation months ago, yet agent took quite awhile to reconcile our reservations. We stood in line for nearly a half hour during which their were very long lines at each check in point and at least one or two agents left on breaks while the lines were still very long. At Burbank the agents were fast, accurate and there were almost no waiting. The flight itself was great and the flight attendants were excellent; but not impressed at all with check in at Seattle."

Lame food service and minimal drinks. Crew was friendly tho. I've had much better from Alaska in the past."

I didn’t even have to sit down to smell the alcohol on him. During the flight he tried to place his head on my shoulder and tried to get close to me. I was too worried to call for an attendant because he was intoxicated but when the attendants would come and offer us food I tried to make it clearly visible that I was anxious and uncomfortable and NOTHING. To make it worse they continued to serve him alcohol!!"

Then our incoming flight was first from San Diego, then Los Angeles. The arrival was delayed several times. Then our boarding was delayed several times. By the time we we in the air, we were even later. The flight was so turbulent, there was no food or beverage service, which isn't important anyway since that has become a token gesture by airlines anyway. . If this was an isolated incident, I could ignore it but it seems that this almost always happens when I fly United."

Also, customer reps at Orlando for spirit did not speak or understand clear English. That simply should not ever be the case in the United States. It caused us to be further behind. All kiosk were out of order as well."
