The plane pushed back from the gate on time. However, it stopped on the ramp, and we waited for over 20 minutes before the aircraft pulled back to the gate. Apparently, something of importance had to be removed from the aircraft by the gate agent. I found this to be odd. The delay was not significant, but I felt that whatever was on the aircraft that had to be taken off, should’ve been done before we pushed back from the gate.
Smooth boarding process. Early departure, smooth flight, early arrival. The entertainment package has very good recent movie options. The flight crew were friendly and professional.
My suitcase was destroyed. The top part where the handle is is completed broken. And unusable now.
Since when do I have to pay for my checked bag? I have a United Explorer mileage plus silver card and I was charged for my checked bags. This also is an international flight. So I would like an explanation to be clear before I choose an airline please?
Michael, our FA was very attentive, even finding me a chocolate brownie from economy class when the dessert selections were all dairy based. ( intolerant, not allergic so don’t usually need to order dairy free)
I had a bad experience with the security at IAH and felt like a sardine on all 4 legs of my journey.
I don’t understand the purpose of the orange “priority” tag on my bag. This tagged, my bag is last or near to the last bag to come down the carousel at IAH.
Oh my gosh, I loved my experience with United! they made me want to travel more often.
The planes are so dirty! Food crumbs and finger print smudges, Dust over the vents and carpet stains. It’s disgusting.
The bag drop personal were not helpful. There was no food on the flight. Boeing aircraft, lousy as always. Everything else was fine.
Flight was delayed a bit, but that was expected (and updated), so really not bad at all for the price. Could’ve used one less email asking me to upgrade my seat; otherwise no significant complaints
Flight was 2hours late they had no crew or the pilot.
Easy boarding. Met expectations for a 2-3 hour flight. Early arrival at DFW caused a 39 minute delay on the tarmac in getting to our gate. 😏 overall, good flight.
My experience with Spirit went pretty much as expected. It's a no frills airline, and you get what you pay for. I don't require much, so I was grateful to have an inexpensive way to travel. It is sad to me that the gate agents and flight crew don't smile much or seem very friendly or helpful. They are competent and efficient, and that's really all I need.
The flight was rescheduled several times without a reason for the schedule changes. I had to be in New Orleans at a certain time and it was just easier to drive at a certain point. I don’t know if the flight ever left. This is my first experience with Spirit Airlines and is also the last.
It was fast but uncomfortable seats. Had to pay a bit extra not sure why? Maybe in selection of all my 4 tix together ? Just knew I had a balance before getting boarding pass online when departing from satx ? And flight was delayed..
In a word, it was horrible. The flight crew timed out and this, apparently was not accounted for by management. This meant that our 10:15 departure turned into a 1:30am departure the next DAY!!! And some brainchild decided to email us 12$ food vouchers set to expire the 9th, but they sent them after EVERY VENDOR WAS CLOSED in the Miami airport and obviously none would be open in New Orleans. I found this to be another sterling example of, at best, shitty management…at worst an absolute lack of empathy for your customers. Last minute 2-3 hr delay in flight schedule; no explanation Unexpected extra $52 charge What's the benefit of choosing a cheap airline if you trick people last minute and force them to pay extra last minute? Did not appreciate being cornered.
My only complaint is that the standing recline. I wasn’t aware of that when I booked the ticket.
Most uncomfortable seating I have ever experienced. And they do not provide any beverage unless purchased. Water was 4.59 a bottle. Same for a soda. A cup of water should be free. I will never fly Spirit again.
