For a “no frills” airline I like the modern aircraft, professional and friendly crew and on time departure and arrival. The flight is too short for entertainment or food service but the snacks and drinks for sale are varied and acceptably priced.

Flight crew were very polite and we received free soda. Free booze however would have been more appropriate after spending my entire New Year’s Day in an airport.

Reviewed 9 hours because a crew member didn’t show. Was originally told 6 hours delay only 20 minutes before the flight was due to leave. Received two $8 meal vouchers and rude and slow service from the entire ground crew.

All of the major elements of our flight were just fine. Seamless boarding, on time, friendly flight crew, and plentiful snacks....

The price.

Everything about Aligiant is horrible. Service, attitude, even the pilots can’t land smoothly. As a diabetic, they don’t even give you water withiit paying for it. Had my wallet in my checked bag and almost had a health issue.

Airport and onboard crew were nice.

It was myself, my wife, and our 18 month old son. The trip was a complete disaster. The first delay was from 12 noon to 7:30 pm because the plane was unavailable. We left the airport and returned at 6 pm for the 7:30 pm departure. The plane was "available." We checked our bags, found our way to the gate, and eventually boarded "ontime." Instead of taking off, however, we sat on board the plane at the gate for 2 hours as work was being done. The work was first called "maintenance," then "a small error code." The captain teased us by saying "folks, just a few more minutes and we should be departing." The crew nourished us with a dixie sized cups of water and Chex mix. Then finally the airline gave up and deplaned everyone. Once deplaned, it was explained to us that they couldn't clear the error code, so they couldn't use that plane. But there was another plane coming from Las Vegas to use so that we could expect a departure around 12 midnight. 12 midnight rolls around. Nothing. 12:30 am. 1 am. Finally, a plane arrives. But then the airline holds us up yet again - turns out we can't depart after all because the arriving airport shuts down at 2 am. Gee, they didn't know that before making us wait another 3 hours??? Now they're offering a refund to anybody who wants one, as well as a hotel for the night and the promise of a flight at 2:30 pm the following day. At this point, many of us are looking up alternative flights to Eugene and even Portland. A $1,000 extra for us. We're not sure whether we can trust Allegiant to have an actual plane ready to go the next day. And we're too tired at that point to even ask why the next flight would be at 2:30 pm rather than first thing in the morning. So finally we line up to get a hotel voucher and find our way to the hotel. It takes over an hour to checkin at the hotel because it's the middle of the night and 150 people just showed up to checkin. We finally get to our room at about 3:30 am. I'm amazed at how well our toddler held up sitting on an airplane for 2 hours, sitting at the airport for about 6 hours, and waiting to fall asleep all night. We eventually made it back to the airport the following afternoon and, praise the lord, made it to our destination. Allegiant - NEVER AGAIN!

The staff was nice and apologetic about how late the flight was.

I know the area is under going renovations but the terminal that they had us waiting in was a sad excuse for a terminal. I heard multiple other people comment about how horrible it was. From being in the basement, to bathrooms not being in good condition ( doors not shutting, out of tolet paper in multiple stalls, and the appearance not being to standard), the convince store only having one cashier and then a second jumping on to help after answering a personal phone call. Im not even going to complain that my flight took off an hour and a. Half late because the other issues are more upsetting. I'm usually not one to complain but I was very disappointed with my delta experience. I choose delta because I like it more than other airlines but after this experience I don't want to fly delta anymore.

Instead of taking off, however, we sat on board the plane at the gate for 2 hours as work was being done. The work was first called "maintenance," then "a small error code." The captain teased us by saying "folks, just a few more minutes and we should be departing." The crew nourished us with a dixie sized cups of water and Chex mix. Then finally the airline gave up and deplaned everyone. Once deplaned, it was explained to us that they couldn't clear the error code, so they couldn't use that plane. But there was another plane coming from Las Vegas to use so that we could expect a departure around 12 midnight. 12 midnight rolls around. Nothing. 12:30 am. 1 am. Finally, a plane arrives. But then the airline holds us up yet again - turns out we can't depart after all because the arriving airport shuts down at 2 am. Gee, they didn't know that before making us wait another 3 hours??? Now they're offering a refund to anybody who wants one, as well as a hotel for the night and the promise of a flight at 2:30 pm the following day. At this point, many of us are looking up alternative flights to Eugene and even Portland. A $1,000 extra for us. We're not sure whether we can trust Allegiant to have an actual plane ready to go the next day. And we're too tired at that point to even ask why the next flight would be at 2:30 pm rather than first thing in the morning. So finally we line up to get a hotel voucher and find our way to the hotel. It takes over an hour to checkin at the hotel because it's the middle of the night and 150 people just showed up to checkin. We finally get to our room at about 3:30 am. I'm amazed at how well our toddler held up sitting on an airplane for 2 hours, sitting at the airport for about 6 hours, and waiting to fall asleep all night. We eventually made it back to the airport the following afternoon and, praise the lord, made it to our destination. Allegiant - NEVER AGAIN!

Not lots of leg room, no reclining seats, bummer everything costs extra even water. But ok for price
