Pros: "The first thing Jet Blue needs to do is to promptly update the monitors to reflect the status when the flight is delayed. The scheduled departure for the flight from JFK to Austin was 9:06 pm. It was past 8:45 pm and there was no airplane at the gate - At this point it was clear to me that we were definitely going to be delayed. Finally there was an announcement about the incoming flight from Syracuse being delayed causing the austin flight to be delayed. As far as I can remember, the monitors never reflected the delayed status. My assessment is this flight was delayed by 30 mins or so which may not be much if this is the only trip you are taking but definitely matters to someone who has been on a flight for 17 hrs and is just desperate to get home for some well needed rest. I give good rating for boarding and comfort as boarding was quick and suprisingly comfortable for economy seat. I give NA for crew, food and entertainment primarily because I was asleep the entire flight and did not interact with any of the flight crew."

Hopefully this helps, management should really look into the Texas leg, once again for the past month the flights haven't depart or arrived to its destination on time. Cons: "While on the plane at the gate, had to wait 20 mins for someone to hang my jacket (had to ask and the person came back 5 mins later) despite the fact that the attendant immediately checked on the guy next to me when he sat down, who apparently had status with United (attendant ignored me). I guess a $7,000 fare doesn't warrant special attention. I had to ask the same attendant for other items at times, but he'd forget and I'd have to ask someone else. Also, the seats were decent yet a bit crowded IMHO. I'm 5'10" and my feet were crammed up against the front of the space when fully reclined. The width of the seat area was a bit tight as well. Finally, they have 2 heads (toilets) that serve both the business class section ( maybe 50 people) as well as the front of economy. One of the pilots was waiting at the same time as me and agreed that it was a pretty questionable layout for the number of seats covered. All in all, not my favorite airline and nothing on this trip so far changed that view."

Then the seats we had selected initially weren't given to us at checkin so we had to upgrade our seats to sit together. And then, in our more expensive seats - we froze. We were underneath the AC and the crew said they had no extra blankets."

The RUDE woman (poor English) with assisted boarding then the RUDE man that changed my name and my luggage he chose to send to Dayton OH -never been there in my life and he "dug" thru my luggage - as if he was searching for MONEY or GOLD -he pulled out a protein drink and I asked him to hand that to me so I could drink it as I am a diabetic - he shouted at me "I THROW AWAY'. During the two hour delay I could have used it !! Poor service I will fly American from now on !!!!!!!!!!!"

Cons: "I was given misinformation about which gate I was supposed to be at and when I eventually got to the proper gate, the plane had left early. The United people that I spoke to in the terminal were very rude and disrespectful. The one woman that I spoke to was extremely nasty to me and it seemed like she was under the influence of something. This experience was totally unacceptable . Not everyone is comfortable flying, especially if they have not flown much. Airport personnel should take that into better consideration . Instead of flying next time, I probably should take the train!"

Cons: "First off, it's ridiculous that after buying a ticket aboard Frontier online, nothing was mentioned before hand about purchasing a seat!!!! - really, what was the ticket supposed to cover. Then, large charges for a small carry-on and also a checked bag that I did online. Then worse, aboard the plane, I discovered that all cokes, etc. and peanuts, etc. had to be purchased. You talk about cheap and greedy. The flight back from Denver was even worse as it was running almost an hour and a half behind, then they switched gates, and after finally boarding at the other gate, we sat at the boarding gate for over an hour, with very little contact or explanation from the crew, not even offering passengers a drink of water."
Cons: "Cheapness got the best of Frontier at long last and while my outbound flight was OK, we suffered through an inexplicable two hour delay returning as the passenger computer systems all crashed and a member of the flight crew had to, at long last, go through the cabin and count off each passenger in person. Meanwhile the flight attendants, who all seemed like minimum wage temp workers, had no idea what was going on and could not help passengers. All very disorganized and unprofessional - followed by the offer of $2 for a soda. Avoid."

Old grandson and she sat us together. Flight was on time and landed a little earlier than predicted. Clean aircraft and friendly attendants"

I told the rep to make sure that they make the announcement so everyone knows of the changes. I could of got on the wrong plane and missed my flight."

Their website is terrible to negotiate when trying to pay for that bag, or choose seats. Customers are offered beverages, as you might guess there is a fee attached to that- $1.99 for a can of coke, really? Frontier will never be my first choice with this type of baggage policy. They made a lovely announcement at the end of the flight about expanding their fleet of planes, etc. Apparently from reading the reviews others have the same complaint, anyone @ Frontier, listening or reading these?"
Cons: "My flight was cancelled and Frontier refused to put me on another flight as they said I was a no-show. I sat at the airport almost 3 hours before my flight which was at 12:45 am 11/21/15. Because it was past Mid-night it did not show on their computer system till next day and so they said they could not see it even though I had a printed boarding pass and was checked in, this caused me another ticket, hotel, extra parking, and dog care. Almost $600 extra. I will never use this airline again. No telling how many other passengers they did this to."

Cons: "Our flight was cancelled and we were not given vouchers for another flight, told we would NOT be reimbursed for our flight, told they could get us on another flight on Tuesday morning and told they wouldn't put us up in a hotel for the night. I am a doctor and waiting till Tuesday for a return flight home is NOT optional or acceptable given that there wasn't any bad weather. NO other flights were cancelled during that time. I had to rent a car, drive to Phoenix and book 4 tickets on UNITED in order to get my team and myself back home to see patients Monday morning. We finally made it home at 5:45 pm yesterday after 36 hours of being awake trying to get home without any help from FRONTIER. I will NEVER fly Frontier again and I will never recommend that airline to anyone I know. It was an awful experience and am extremely upset about the additional money to purchase 4 extra airline tickets."

Cons: "We were about 1 1/2 hours off of it original departure time. No one explained a thing to the passengers. We were delayed and when we finally got on the plane we waited a whole hour to take off. There was no information passed to us about how long it would take and our potential wait time. When it is time to check in, we had to purchase our seats. No where, when we bought tickets for this flight, did it say we had to pay extra money to actually sit on the flight."
Cons: "I arrived 40 minutes before my departure time due to a personal issue... The attendant at the check in desk wasted more of my time by uncertainly fumbling about and spending 5 minutes behind a closed door. They could only offer another flight 2 days later and at an additional cost. During the time they wasted of mine, I could have made it through security and to my boarding gate. F--- for customer service. I went across the terminal to the United Airlines desk and got on a flight last minute at practically the same cost as Frontier, the corner cutting overbooking "cheap" airline."

Cons: "I now know why you advertize a low flight price...you charge to check baggage at $40 each when others charge $25; The seats were dirty with debris left in them as well as the set backs; the seats did not lean back; the flight attendant was so overweight she knocked several customers everytime she went down the aisle (would her weight not be a safety issue?) she was rude and unaccomodating; the only thing complimentary was water! The final straw was when we landed in Denver. The pilot set the plane down so hard you could hear swearing all over the plane. When I mentioned it upon departing to the flight attendant she stated, "Oh yes, that automatic pilot". Any idiot knows you do not land or take off with automatic pilot!"

Cons: "Horrible customer service. Left my glasses on flight and never got them back, even though I submitted a lost and found ticket. Never got a reply back, and the airline rep at the airport was short and rude when I went to ask if there was any way I could go back and retrieve them as it had been just minutes since we left the plane or at least call and ask someone to look. The attendants probably just throw everything away. Never got an email back about the lost glasses. The seats were horribly uncomfortable, they charge out the wazoo for drinks and they trick you into thinking you need to pay for carry-on bags! Seriously the stupidest airline I've had to deal with in a long time. The prices for the flights were reasonable til we had to deal with all that stupidity. Not worth it. Go with American or United for good reasonable flights instead."

I waited at the airport for until 1:30am before I got a confirmation that the back was in fact at Newark still. I had a nursing convention to go to and I had no clothing. So I had to Uber to Walmart than Uber back to my hotel. So I didn’t get any sleep. I didn’t check into my hotel til 4am due to a negligent spirit employee. I paid for the checked bag and there was plenty of space in the over head compartment. She caused me unnecessary stress and an embarrassing morning with my administrators due to my lack of sleep."

Also, we purchased our tickets together, obviously to be sat together. On our return flight, we were instructed to purchase seats if we wanted to be together, otherwise there were no assignments. We got charged an additional $40. Overall, we spent an additional $200! We chose this airline for the lower fares, but they get their money back by charging for everything. You pay for everything. I was very dissatisfied and likely to never fly this airline again."

They are able to do this because they offer cheap flights; their argument is essentially "Go somewhere else if you don't like us." The fact that they package it in a friendly, 'hip' aesthetic makes the whole thing slightly insulting. It feels like an Apple commercial gone wrong. Unless you're really, really on a budget or there are no other companies, don't go with them. There's nothing more expensive then cheap sometimes."
