Pros: "Nice seats. Good crew"
Cons: "Tell us it's in terminal 1. We already had to go back and forth through terminal 2 from checkin on one side, back up escalater to other side, then back to check-in side through security. I had to drag my checking bag since you have an extra small check-in size, so my roller stayed home. Then once upstairs it's 1/2 mi through the terminal back to 1. I would have picked up a bag mover if I had any idea. Since I did check-in on line, I could have gone directly in terminal 1 if I was told. I also would have missed my flight if I hadn't come early to the airport."

I will often upgrade to 1st class, and that is so worth it. I arrive at my destination after 5 hours feeling relaxed and able to jump right into the new environment."
Cons: "In 1st class - no complaints whatsoever. In coach - the usual: seats small, cramped, packed in with hundreds of other human beings, just waiting for it to be over. What a difference between the two!"

Argued with man with service dog and failed to understand that "service dog" was not some pet. We attempted to assist other flyer and he was rude, bossy, and nearly insolent to us ... he finally to it but needs for re-training for him pretty darned important. One blondish wm stew with long page-boy like hair cut also verged on rudeness through her inability to hear, understand and desire to chant rules rather than to hear what was actually happening ... both of them more than mildly disappointing. Other two stews fine but seemed to want to stay out of way of the two rude ones."

It was my first time flying Alaska airlines. I would not recommend them."

Cons: "I didn't like the seating arrangement online. My selected seat did not match with the actual seat layout online. When flying to to Cabo, we were supposed to sit in front of the lavatory with no one in front, but when we boarded, we were in the last row. The lavatory was behind us and we couldn't recline all the way back."

Cons: "Seattle needs to work on their security lines. It's horrible. The last two times I've flown out of Seattle it cut it way too close and I was rushing to my gate because I stood in the security line forever. They had huge lines, and only two people checking boarding passes and they were taking a really really long time to check boarding passes. This airport needs to improve."

Cons: "kids crying for 90% of the flight a couple rows away. pilot would keep fasten seatbelt sign lit for long periods even though there was no turbulence. Then when the slightest turbulence arrived he/she would turn it back on immediately. Makes for going to bathroom a gambling proposition and snarky comments from flight attendants for those who decided to stay in line for bathrooms."

I got seated next to a gentleman who happened to be too big for his own seat and basically sat in half of my seat for the entire flight. I got half of a seat when I paid for a full one. I couldn’t put the armrest down because it went into his stomach so I had to have someone ontop of me for over 2 hours. It was very uncomfortable and just my luck the guy LOVED to talk. Talked the entire flight took out his phone and showed me all of his pictures. Video chatted his entire family while on the flight and didn’t bother to use the headphones he brought with him. So the entire flight go to hear his mother call him 15 times throughout the flight asking why he wasn’t taking a nap. It was honestly ridiculous. I put headphones in my ears and the guy still continued to talk to me. I tried to close my eyes and pretend to sleep that didn’t work. I had to keep running to the bathroom to just stand in there for some peace and quiet."

Cons: "I arrived to a chair with crumbs and wrappings on it, and, seated next to someone who was too big for their spot so much so that nearly half of my seat was taken by part of their body - plus, the arm rest could not be put down so I was unable to access any entertainment or ordering of snacks. this person needed my help to turn on lights, air-vent, access a larger seatbelt, read menus, pick things up for her . . . all and all I am a compassionate and helpful person but this was an overnight flight and I was forced into being her personal assistant on a completely full flight, made incredibly uncomfortable and unable to get any rest for myself. I paid over $450 for this flight and it was at best worth $69. About 2/3 into the flight, the plane went through some turbulence and the cabin pressure dropped so much that I began to get dizzy, have difficulty breathing and start sweating - I thought I was going to pass out! This took about 20 minutes to recover. I am a seasoned flier putting in at least one flight every other month for the last 5 years and this was one by bar one of the most unpleasant flights I have ever taken. The on-board staff attempted to help by giving me a snack box and a glass of wine but there was no-room to reseat me so i could have a decent flying experience."

Cons: "I waited three days for a flight to Portland, Maine. My first flight was cancelled due to weather. The next two days the same flight was cancelled again. When it did go, it was three hours late. Our flight ended up leaving at 3:00am. This is all excusable due to weather but I also lost my premium sat. The only seats available were the middle seats. I had booked early and had a great fee-free seat. I had to pay $75 to get a window seat. On the 1st leg of the trip they were 3 hours late coming out of Portland. I'm not flying JetBlue anymore. There are cheaper flights that fly during the day."

The crew was cheerful and accommodating. They did the normal beverage service, but also brought complimentary water and coffee 3x during the rest of the flight. This was greatly appreciated, especially after 5 days of drinking and partying. My buddies and I spent two and a half days in Las Vegas for a bachelor party followed by two days in the LA area for a wedding (yes we did it Hangover style) :) Thank you Delta!"

I watched an 80+ couple who were in first class with me try to board early because of there mobility. "You need to get in line over there on the right" was the answer...sorry to see that happen with Delta !!"

Top-rate LA crew, flights always departs on time, early to destination more than half the time. Comfortable seats, upgraded to Delta Comfort today. Gate agent was friendly, helpful and joking with passengers. Made it seem like we were all going on an adventure. Kudos to Delta all around!!"

The travel insurance that I purchased on Spirits website with the tickets, even though they had emailed me a copy of the policy, had no record of the purchase when I called them with a question. Spirits website lists the size limits of carry on bags and the fees. They explain that it's more at the gate. I paid in advance for my laptop bag after measuring it and finding it did not meet the requirements of free carry on. At the gate I found out the laptop bag would be no charge. Spirits policy? No refunds of course. Just a $90 credit if I ever use their crappy airline in the future. I requested and paid extra for seats that were not over the wing (my wife takes pictures). We were over a wing. I paid for early boarding. It was never called ( the attendant asked for passengers with special needs). In closing, I am very disappointed that Kayak would even associate themselves with these scam artists. Low cost has limits. It's still supposed to be a service industry. Spirit is atrocious, but I became entangled with them through Kayak. I wont forget that."

I was charged for everything and this is not informed upon the purchase of the ticket or how if at time of reservation of you bought your carry on it would be cheaper. The seats were bare bones and the electricity kept going out before and during the flight. I am now currently waiting for my flight home which is also delayed by an hour. Never again will I fly with Spirit, or at least I'll know that it costs easily $100 dollars more than sticker price and that I probably won't be out of the airport on schedule."

I don't care where, so charging me extra to pick it (plus extra time to sign in again) is a total hassle. And who doesn't travel with a carry on bag? Surprised I didn't get up-charged for air on the flight. Terrible ticket buying experience too. Just want a ride. I don't want to be your buddy. And buying a discount coupon that automatically renews annually is ridiculous. Would have been much easier and more straightforward --and cheaper in the end-- to buy a plain old ticket with a conventional airline. As a matter of fact, I think I will."

This is like a time share presentation in the sky that you cannot get away from. After baggage fees and all other things considered Southwest would have been a cheaper option"

What made me book Spirit on a one way flight from Sfco to Lax was to make sure that my wife will get her regular dialysis treatment as soon as we land in Los Angeles. To my surprise, I did not realize only when we arrived at Sfco airport that my boarding pass was for Oakland airport, hence we missed our flight. In my desperation to make it to my wife's fixed schedule , I had to purchase another tickets for both of us, including my daughter at twice the fare $225.00 one way. The problem is this, I had specifically typed Sfco airport (meaning not Oakland) on the kayak website so in my busy travel schedule did not bother to check that it automatically gave me Oakland as departure location. Pros: "They charged $50 for a very small roller suitcase. That was the only luggage I carried. It could have been easily considered as a cabin luggage free of cost, but they did not even give me a chance to speak or negotiate. I felt it was a bad customer service."

Cons: "The staff was terrible. As we boarded, there were rules and penalties thrown out to make the experience feel more like entering prison vs. what should be a relaxing comfortable flight. On board, the staff continued to put out rules and regulations, and one point brining the book of regulations to a poor woman passenger who had paid for "first class" seats only to find out she couldn't have an infant on her lap. Initial word was she'd have to leave the plane which completely upset her. She said, "Why did you allow me to purchase this ticket if it wasn't allowed to bring my baby?" Later they said it was OK for her to go to a different seat further back for take off and landing. Later, the flight attendant took it upon himself to say that we are welcomed to purchase food on board, but that it is against federal regulations to remove the food and eat it anywhere else. Really?? Even if that is a law, is it really necessary to put all of this negative information out there? I've flown for 30 years and never had this kind of negative experience. The comfort of the seats were terrible. I'm a fit, thin person, and by the end of the flight, my bottom hurt so bad, it took 2 days to feel normal again. I am having to face a flight back to OAK on Spirit and am actually considering purchasing a different ticket to get out of ever stepping on one these planes again! I am telling every one I know NEVER to fly Spirit. This was my first experience and it was the worse flight in my entire life, filled with mean-spirited people and super uncomfortable seats."
