More importantly, the fact that I checked-in with seat 14 and ended-up, seemingly randomly, in seat 28 (the back of the plane) when I had SPECIFICALLY selected a seat in the FRONT section of the plane. That was particularly annoying, especially since the optics of the situation were such that I used miles to purchase the flight and got "screwed-over" with respect to my seat selection as if my ticket held less weight than other passengers..."

The food and beverages were wonderful to have on the long flight in the intervals they were handed out. Had multiple flights with Aer Lingus on our trip and was delighted with all of the flights. Not sure what I was supposed to with those other than wipe the residue from the tray as it was now all soaked into my jeans"

Cons: "Touch screen technology horrible - practically have to punch seat back numerous times to get response (poor person in front of me!). Wasn't just mine either - everyone had this issue. Movie selection tepid. Can't use your own headset & get stereo sound because of their 2-prong system. Whole setup really bad. On overnight flight from Boston to Dublin, could barely sleep because flight crew kept interrupting with announcements about collecting trash."

Was under the impression i was paying for a British airline flight, not Aer Lingus - feels like a budget airline at a premium price - broken everything from chair to very poor seat design and situating, bathroom door was broken and was exposed to the toilet the whole flight -flight attendant service and attitude was beyond lousy. - never will i book from kayak or webjet every again."

Cons: "The overall feel is that the staff are very rigid about their rules. They come down the aisle at their appointed times, but never just check up to see how people are doing. The rule about registering for a vegetarian meal 72 hours advance is ridiculous. there should always be meat-free options for people, not just vegetarians. The flight attendant was kind enough to find some fruit salad for me, out of the crew meals, but she shouldn't have to. in general they don't feel very warm or inviting."

Pros: "Crew members communicated well and were highly attentive to customer needs. Una's crew did a fine job. Kayak reservation system leaves fliers defenseless to a barrage of changing schedules/gates and confirmation codes. An absolute mess that raises customer anxiety unnecessarily. I never was able to check-in successfully online. Thankfully Aer Lingus was ready to deal with this situation."

Cons: "Not able to ceheck in on line and then was put on standby for a ticket I purchased in January. Others in my party got their seats at the airport when they checked in. Two of us were put on standby. Food had a problem with coordinating serving and there were few liquids offered for an overseas flight where it is important to stay hydrated. One liquid with each meal. If I had known I would have bought water at the airport before boarding."

Boarding was quick and easy, and there was plenty of overhead luggage space. The roughly 8 hour flight from Dublin to JFK was much more pleasant than I had expected."

Cons: "The plane was sitting at the gate for at least three hours before we boarded, and then they found a problem to fix. We took off almost an hour late. There wasn't enough barbecue chicken for everyone so they ran out halfway through the flight, so I had no choice but to eat the other option which was really unappealing. When we landed we couldn't go anywhere because it took 20 minutes to get a paramedic on board for another traveler."

Cons: "The entertainment had a lot of options- TV shows, movies and games but none were really accessible to me as a Deaf person- no captions. and as for the game I needed a console which I could have asked for. I tried at one point but the attendants didn't help me. So I just gave up and read my book on my iPad. Also, it seemed to take forever to get my bags. I know it was a big plane and there were a lot of us waiting, but it still seemed to take longer than expected."

Cons: "The guy seated next to me was too big for his seat and he took up about 20% of my seat. Absolutely disgusting. My seat should have cost 20% less because I did not have access to my full space. Crew should be trained to not allow customers who cannot fit into a single seat to only have a ticket for one seat. The crew identifies bags that do not fit, they should do the same thing with people."

Cons: "British Airways did not have a plane available in timely manner. They were jerking us around with the departure time. They changed the departure time over 6x. The range was zero to 3 hours late. Finally, we departed about 80 minutes late. The blame was on weather but I did not believe them. I looked from the window - weather was fine with slight drizzle and about 3000 ft overcast. Also, the flight to Prague had no food but mostly no drinks no sodas. I'm questioning their business practices when they were asking about 5 pounds for a drink. I will fly with some other airlines next time."

Was surprised and disappointed at the price. Also, was never served water during the overnight flight. Am accustomed to flight attendants coming through the cabin a couple of times with water."

We were not fine also the security crew at Heathrow was incredibly slow and there were 3 standing around talking and one very slow very rude lady going through bags which caused us also to be delayed and have to run to catch connecting flight to SF just barely made it - totally unacceptable."

Cons: "My flight was delayed on the way to Puerto Plata on 9/9 which made me miss an entire day and I was billed for a stay at the resort. I was booked to a crappy room in MIA that I had to get changed to another hotel. THEN my departing flight from Puerto Plata back to the US was delayed 2 plus hours (as was the first flight) due to a flat tire that had to be replaced. I missed my connecting flight and had to be placed on the next flight to DCA which was the last flight. This experience was the worst. I do not have a favorable opinion of American, of which I have flown this airline for years."

Cons: "Far and away the most uncomfortable and worst value-for-money international flight I've experienced. This plane is so old it should be put in a museum. The warm food was terrible and the non-hot food was completely frozen so even if I wanted to eat it, this wouldn't be possible. Individual seat in-flight entertainment screens have been the norm for many years, yet this plane had the community-style in-flight entertainment. Half of the time, the screens weren't working, which just made matters worse. The total lack of legroom and chair ergonomics made getting comfortable nearly impossible. I was literally in pain sitting in these seats. I live in Prague and visit family in the US often. This was my first experience with American Airlines' newer direct flight option from Prague to Philadelphia; based on the extreme discomfort of the inflight features and to top it off it was the highest price I've paid for a flight back home...(total lack of value for the money! )I would go out of my way to make sure I never take this route again."

And our party of three was scattered around the plane, other families sitting nearby too. A little bit greedy company selling seat selection option when they could arrangeit nicely, but just don’t do it in order to get few people to pay for otherwise normal thing."

While we were not traveling further, those making connections again missed their flights. If they would only own up to the missed connections while still on the ground, alternate plans could be made. Not part of their business model."

Cons: "There was one announcement about preboarding and none after that -- only one announcement about delay of 20 minutes but we were more than an Hour late boarding. That was 1st impression. Then, when we got on the plane, it was very old so made me worry about safety."

I don't even know what kind of sauce they tried to put on it."

Pros: "The customer service folks at Air Canada. They worked very hard to get us on the second flight. Running through the airport with us, pleading with TSA to move along, trying to talk sense to some guy who eventually allowed people to get off a flight, but wouldn't let us on. I guess its easy to make those decisions when he makes the call from some office via a phone and doesn't have to face customers. All other Air Canada employees we worked with were exceptional!!! Kudos to them."
Cons: "Our flight was delayed 3 hrs from London. Once in Montreal the systems that Air Canada uses to correct the situation are horrible. There was no way we would be able to catch our rescheduled flight in the time it takes to deboard, go through customs, get bags, recheck bags, go through security. We didn't. We missed the next flight too despite the heroic efforts by the staff (excpetion - TSA security. They moved very very slow to the point that they seemed passive aggressive to our situation). This is the second time it has happened. I probably won't fly Air Canada again, if possible."

Wasted day, wasted night. Delays can happen, but according to the finally communicated cause this could all have been communicated early on (crew not available in Cleveland, that was two flight legs earlier)."

Cons: "The flight was delayed 3 hours for mechanical issues and so we missed our connection to Frankfurt that evening, and any other possible connection to Europe. Apparently Kayak had been notified that the flight was delayed, but had not relayed the message. If they'd informed me earlier I might have been able to rebook myself on an earlier flight, but I no longer had that option when I arrived 2 hours ahead of my scheduled departure. Although my arrival to my destination was delayed over 24 hours, I was only given a hotel room and enough to buy breakfast the next morning. No vouchers for future flights, no upgrades to an empty first class on the flight to Frankfurt the next evening, no apologies. The women at the gate tried to help me, but the AirCanada representative who I had to call to try to re-book flights was incredibly rude and condescending. She repeatedly talked down to me, and refused to book me on an alternative flight I found because she "insisted" it wasn't in her system. She later found it in her system, and told me that she would not book me on it, but that I would need to get the gate agents to do it due to the "tight connection" I would then experience of one hour through London Heathrow, the same as my originally booked flight via Air Canada in Toronto."

Cons: "Seating much to dense. Bulkhead seating should be available on need basis only at no extra charge. Food was very mediocre and had a distinct processed flavor and consistency."
