Entry restrictions
The United States has restricted the entry of all foreign nationals who have passed through or have been in China, Iran, Most European Countries (Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Monaco, San Marino, Vatican City), the UK, Ireland and Brazil in the past 14 days.
With the exception of certain travelers which includes certain family members of US citizens or permanent residents including; spouses, children (under the age of 21), parents (provided that his/her US citizen or permanent resident child is unmarried and under the age of 21), and siblings (provided that both the sibling and the US citizen or permanent resident are unmarried and under the age of 21);
There is also an exception for travelers with the following visas: A-1, A-2, C-1, C-1/D, C-2, C-3, CR-1, CR-2, D, E-1 (as an employee of TECRO or TECO or the employee's immediate family members), G-1, G-2, G-3, G-4, IR-1, IR-4, IH-4, NATO-1 through NATO-4, or NATO-6 visa;
Members of the US Armed Forces, spouses, and children of members of the US Armed Forces;
Travelers with invitation of the USA government for a purpose related to the containment/mitigation of the Coronavirus (COVID-19);
Travelers with documents issued by the US Department of Homeland Security, US Customs and Border Protection, or US Department of State indicating that the traveler is exempt from the restriction;
B1 crew crewmembers that are engaged in lightering, Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) activity, wind farm activity, private air/sea crew and other similar crewmember activities;
Students with an F-1 or M-1 visa and their F-2 and M-2 dependents, if they arrive from or have been in Ireland, the UK or Schengen Area in the past 14 days.
Entry requirements
US citizens and permanent residents arriving from the UK must present a medical certificate with a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test result issued within 72 hours prior to departure.
Quarantine requirements
Travelers returning to the US are advised to stay home as much as possible, avoid being around people and consider getting tested for COVID-19 after returning from travel and participated in higher risk activities.

What makes it worse was these were not tickets I bought last week but on united economy they only give you seat selection just days prior and no explanation as to why you are placed in a particular row. Stuck near the bathroom and the seats do not decline at all though they deceptively provide the button to recline your seats. Horrible experience and one more reason to not fly United."

They had us sitting down and water could be given until the flights starts but 1 st class recieved all the accommodations which i unstand that is why you pay for 1st class. But honestly the crew could accommodate a class of water to a few passagers. The pilot didn't have to wait 40 mins to let us k now we were waiting on maintenance to sign off on their form. Some of the passage obeyed the rules by turning of our phone. I turn my phone back on when i heard a passager say maintance was required. I would say flight was good sits were smaller than last August"

But the previous flight just got off and they don't even bother to clean the plane because they were running late. Granted the stewardesses are polite and the pilot is really good..... It was a smooth ride and landing...... But it was supposed to be a 5 hour flight...... I was supposed to be in Vegas by 9:45pm..... But now is 1:45am and I'm still in the plane waiting for the gate to be open...... 4 hours delay........ !!! It just turn to be a 9 hours flight!! Almost double the time!!! Ridiculous!!!!"

I could have flown on another airline for the same cost with better service."

It was hard just sitting there and doing nothing. Moreover, I had a flight with United Airline (or American Airline maybe), they only charge 35USD for each bag delivery. But Spirit charged me for 50USD."
Pros: "Spirit is affordable and economical. You certainly get what you pay for. If you want just a seat one a plane to your destination, your ticket bought that. Oh, you want a bag or two? Pay for those too. I don't even mind that. It provides incentive to pack less, have less, and overall be more efficient."
Cons: "Both flights boarded at least 20 minutes late. However, considering how many people live their lives from one late arrival to another, it makes sense to board late. Both flights arrived on time though, and that's what is important."

I will never book with spirit ever again. I'd rather take the time and waste the miles driving. Cons: "Trying to book some luggage online failed due to the website.,Then called the customer service center and ended up paying 207$ for the flight (2 people) but 340$ for two checked items and two carry on items. Even after explaining I had the 'Uh Oh' mail showing the Spirit website failed... Flight left late, plane was very dirty (disgusting stains everywhere). Not flying Spirit again."

Then on the flight, a flight attendant told me my suitcase might not make it to Oakland unless I got off the plane and got onto a flight that arrived in Oakland at 11. I had an interview in Ukiah the next morning at 9:00, so I explained to the flight attendants and baggage representatives that I would be screwed if my luggage did not arrive in Oakland. My bag did make it but it was a constant struggle to get honest information, let alone any information out of Spirit staff, who gave me a heart attack for no reason."

You tell us to do it online but never mentioned to do it before the 24 hour window because the luggage prices go up in that 24 hour or window. Our luggage was never on our plane and we were not told this at check in.,so when we got to our final destination in Vegas our luggage came an hour later! Luckily there was some one from spirit at the bag claim we asked and she was able to track it down for the 5 of us who had no clue what was going on! Needless to say by the time all your fees were paid for we could of flown a better more comfortable airline for the same price!"

Cons: "Once we boarded the plane in Detroit, the pilot announced that he got on the wrong track so we had to wait 30 min. Then he said that we have to wait for 15 more minutes. We ended up leaving with a 2 hour delay! The problems didn't stop here tho. Once we landed in Las Vegas the pilot said the passengers can't leave the plane for 30 more minutes because the crue hasn't set up the device to properly get off the plane. The 30 minutes turned into 45..... Yes, you guessed it, we stayed in the plane even longer than that. After 1 hour We were finally able to leave the plane. So basically what initially was supposed to be a 4 hour flight, Detroit-Las Vegas, turned out to be 7:30 long hours. It safe to say that this is not a way the passengers should be treated by Spirit airlines and if they continue to do so I don't see bright future for this company. People have many other options to use different airline companies!!"
