That same plane, upon taking off back to DTW blew a tire upon take-off, had to do an emergency landing and everyone had to spend the night in NOLA after being delayed all day."

The problem is your greedy Chinese luggage handling thieves who work for your airlines in Chinese airports. Whenever they can steal from luggage, they always try to steal from passengers, particularly American. I have had multiple experiences with theft from Chinese airports. I have been to China and back to the USA five times. Many times, items have disappeared from my suitcases in Chinese airports. That is why I decided not to move to China to live but instead move to Indonesia. However, if I fly any plane that transfers my luggage in China, I can usually expect to have my luggage robbed. Although this time, nothing was missing from my luggage, that fact that your people had to wrap my suitcase in plastic (because they did not know the secret for relatching it) and resend it a day later, that is proof that one of your airport personnel opened it to see what he could steal and then got caught because he could not close it again. I am really really really tired of you Chinese thieves. I blame all of you because you are all a product of Mao Tse Tung’s godless atheistic evil society. The Chinese have proven to me again and again that they cannot be trusted. A Kong Chinese official even stole my Ohio driver’s license when I transferred through that airport on a previous trip to Jakarta. I understand your problem. If you fire all dishonest luggage department workers, you will not have any workers remaining. That is why you will always rank as a third world backward primitive society even though you buy expensive airplanes that you don’t build and dress your people up like professionals which they aren’t. AS LONG AS Chinese airport luggage people are dishonest and cannot be trusted, your entire airline is a failure. That is not prejudice against Chinese people. I know some honest good ones. On the flight home, I realized that they have bigger seats, your bags ( 1 personal, 1 carry-on, and 2 checked bags) are "free" and they give you a little snack to hold you for maybe and hour. Overall I prefer Southwest because of all the benefits you get while flying with them but it doesn't mean I will never fly United again."

Try sitting in a middle seat after two overseas flights... especially as a tall person with no knee space and a super-uncomfortable seat with the headcushion area reaching only your neck. Those seats were clearly made for folks under 5'8"-5'9"."

I personally think she should be fired. She does not enjoy what she is doing. She joyfully told me that it costs $40 to carry my luggage and after I informed her that I saw it online for less she informed me that I should have bought it online. She then stuck me all the way in the last row of the plane. I am 5'9". My husband is 6'2" and over 300 pounds. Those seats have the least leg room. It was pure torture. The flight crew in the back help my poor husband by using humor to help him."

But when it is supposed to leave at 4:15 and You tell everyone 5:15, and then at 5:15 tell everyone it'll be here at 6:15, then at 6:15 it went to 7:15 and then again 8:15. During this entire time, I kept asking for updates and the staff at Frontier seemed angry so many people kept asking....that's your job. Because of the long wait many people didn't eat dinner, JetBlu decided to get coffee and donuts for all of their passengers (they said it over the loud speaker), Frontier didn't give us anything. When the plane landed at 8:15, the slowness of the workers couldn't have been any worse. Loading the bags slow, cleaning the plane slow. Plane gets here at 8:15 and we don't take off until 9:30. You'd think we would get some type of snack or drink for this horrible wait time right? Water is free on frontier, but nothing else. And they stuck with that. NOTHING FREE! Not even a soda or bag of chips! My friend is 6 foot 4 and I'm not sure how they get away with the nonexistent leg room. His knees were smashed against the chair in front of him the entire time. Funny for me, sucked for him (or anyone tall). He asked to change seats to 1 of the 2 open seats we had seen with more leg room (near the side emergency exit). They said no unless he wants to pay $50 right there. In the middle of the flight. I have no words for it. Customer service was horrible, food was nonexistent, drinks were nonexistent, leg room was nonexistent. And that sums up how I'll never be using frontier ever again. Pay $50 more for a better plane service seriously."

In general, Frontier tries to charge for every conceivable aspect of a flight, including ANY seat you select (so you must decline to select any to avoid this) and the little snack bags on flights. Also, the first checked bag costs $35. Use with caution."

Felt annoyed that they gave me a hard time about paying them cash. No where on the website does it say credit cards only. Also the seats were small and did not recline. On my return trip they changed the gate 2 mins before boarding and I had to run to catch the flight. I would not recommend."

Cons: "First my flight was canceled do to " weather conditions" even though all other airlines were flying out to the same city. When I asked for help the desk attendant said I can look on my phone for available flights. So I didn't feel like the staffed cared at all. The flight back went without a delay but the airplane felt very cramped and with no entertainment to distract us from our 4 hour flight. When I did finally order a coffee and muffin the flight attendant staired at me like I wasn't speaking English. And passed everything to me 1 by 1 in the most awkward uncomfortable way. I don't know how exactly to describe it but it was incredibly strange and not very professional. Over all I won't be flying with this airline again."

So even though I bought the ticket last week and showed up over an hour early when I got on the flight there were no seats, the seat they said they gave to me 19A was filled with another passenger with a ticket saying 19A so they also did not know what they were doing. The crew told me to sit anywhere, but three of us ended up having to get off the plane. I ended up being stuck in Los Angeles and missing a million $ meeting. No appology, no credit for future flights was made or even attempted by the crew. I'm considering a lawsuit to be honest unless some very quick and good service is provided. The crew was rude and stressed and all about leaving on time. HORRIBLE."

After an hour and a half we were told we could get off the plane if we wanted to get something to eat or drink... I'm tall so my legs were crammed. I guess the quote is true: you get what you pay for. Pay cheap, get cheap comfort, cheap service and expensive luggage fare!"
Cons: "I have traveled around the world as an auditor. I am no rookie to the game. I laughed when they informed me my carry on was $54 since my flight was purchased for $45 (one way to New Orleans). I was in the boarding area 1 hour prior to loading (Not fully paying attention). I was standing 30 feet from the gate 20 minutes before boarding time (paying full attention) and did not realize they had already loaded the plane. They said they called my name 3 times which means I couldn't /didn't hear them. My bags left without me. I ended up buying a ticket on delta because I had to link up with my family for a reunion. This was one of the most memorable crappy experiences of my adult life."

After I spent 3.5 hrs standing in line I was re-booked a non direct flight the next day with another airline,and they put me up in a hotel for 2hours until my next day of flying to Denver, Houston, and then new Orleans. I was originally supposed to arrive in new Orleans via a direct flight Sunday night but ended up not reaching my final destination until Tuesday afternoon."

Cons: "Bummer that the seats don't recline (but for short flights, not terribly bad) We had a layover on both legs of the trip, however were unaware that we would not be switching planes. We had to choose to run off the aircraft to grab a sandwich etc vs waiting 3 more hours to eat. When we decided there was enough time, we made no stops, walked off the plane and to the first food booth we saw, and we walked back to the gate and sat to eat our food. Only after watching someone else run onto the jet bridge, did I ask the gate attendant (who was 5 steps away from me) if we needed to board. She casually said "oh yea, we're going to close the gate in 2 minutes" !!! there was no overhead page/announcement/ or her asking if we were on that flight (when she had seen us de-plane and ask her directions, and could tell on her flight logs that some people were still to board). We were super lucky not to miss that flight and I wish we felt that she was working in our best interest. --This was the only lacking part of our flight. --maybe on boarding tickets, you could ** and state that both legs are on the same aircraft? So we could plan ahead? -- perhaps train gate attendants to page prior to gates closing if not all passengers are on board (like all other airlines do) Thank you for considering changes and feedback"

Cons: "The seats were too cramped together. They over priced the carry on luggage. The return trip from Houston to Philadelphia, I was in the airport from 5am until 11pm in the airport. In Houston, we spent 1.5 hours on the hot airplane with no AC then they deplaned and put us back on another plane for 1 hour and then those trying to get to Philadelphia were asked to deplane again. When about 10 of us got off this flight, they told us unfortunately there were only three seats available to Atlanta and then Philadelphia. I had to beg for one of the seats because I would have been fired from my job and I had patients already scheduled to see the following day. In Atlanta, I had to spend more money to eat dinner and wait from 4pm until 8:45pm when we finally boarded the air craft because it was constantly delayed every hour. Lastly, when I got to Philadelphia at 10:30pm I spent another 30 minutes filling paper work out because they lost my luggage and the other passage that flew with me as well. Spirits never even offered a food voucher or explained to us why everything was delayed or even apologized. It was a terrible experience."

Crew did nothing, if I wouldn't have stopped the confrontation it may have gotten ugly."
