The so-called shuttle to the departure terminals, which are entire kilometers away, was to arrive in like half an hour. HALF AN HOUR. Who has this time to spare?? The alternative to the shuttle is paying a taxi that charges a hefty fare--and God help you if you don't have cash. The departures terminal was swamped and only thru begging assistance and line cuts did I make my connection...and then only by the skin of my teeth. It was a complete nightmare."

American Airlines was supposed to provide transportation back and forth from the hotel however a car never showed up at the hotel to pick us up and I needed to get my own taxi at the last minute (American did however reimburse me for the taxi fare at the airport). I never received an explanation as to why my reservation was cancelled and was never offered any type of compensation for such a major inconvenience. They dd ultimately waive my 25 bag fee but it wasn't very easy to even get that from them. I felt that they should have been more empathetic towards my inconvenience and offered me any type of compensation to make up for such a horrible experience. When I asked about possibly being upgraded to first class they told me absolutely not! A little graciousness can go a long way, American Airlines showed that they could not care less about my inconvenience (other than Rodrigo at the counter the next morning who actually showed he was truly sorry for the situation and at least ended up moving me to a row with more legroom). Other than this, I was extremely disappointed with this experience and how it was handled."

Overall I prefer Southwest because of all the benefits you get while flying with them but it doesn't mean I will never fly United again."

She then stuck me all the way in the last row of the plane. I am 5'9". My husband is 6'2" and over 300 pounds. Those seats have the least leg room. It was pure torture. The flight crew in the back help my poor husband by using humor to help him."

On top of that th plane was five hours late from its start point and the only information the gate agents would give (with an attitude) was the plane was coming. I called customer service to see if they were offering any restitution for this, and I was told that's not up to him. I will never never never fly frontier ever again."

But when it is supposed to leave at 4:15 and You tell everyone 5:15, and then at 5:15 tell everyone it'll be here at 6:15, then at 6:15 it went to 7:15 and then again 8:15. During this entire time, I kept asking for updates and the staff at Frontier seemed angry so many people kept asking....that's your job. Because of the long wait many people didn't eat dinner, JetBlu decided to get coffee and donuts for all of their passengers (they said it over the loud speaker), Frontier didn't give us anything. When the plane landed at 8:15, the slowness of the workers couldn't have been any worse. Loading the bags slow, cleaning the plane slow. Plane gets here at 8:15 and we don't take off until 9:30. You'd think we would get some type of snack or drink for this horrible wait time right? Water is free on frontier, but nothing else. And they stuck with that. NOTHING FREE! Not even a soda or bag of chips! My friend is 6 foot 4 and I'm not sure how they get away with the nonexistent leg room. His knees were smashed against the chair in front of him the entire time. Funny for me, sucked for him (or anyone tall). He asked to change seats to 1 of the 2 open seats we had seen with more leg room (near the side emergency exit). They said no unless he wants to pay $50 right there. In the middle of the flight. I have no words for it. Customer service was horrible, food was nonexistent, drinks were nonexistent, leg room was nonexistent. And that sums up how I'll never be using frontier ever again. Pay $50 more for a better plane service seriously."

When I asked for help the desk attendant said I can look on my phone for available flights. So I didn't feel like the staffed cared at all. The flight back went without a delay but the airplane felt very cramped and with no entertainment to distract us from our 4 hour flight. When I did finally order a coffee and muffin the flight attendant staired at me like I wasn't speaking English. And passed everything to me 1 by 1 in the most awkward uncomfortable way. I don't know how exactly to describe it but it was incredibly strange and not very professional. Over all I won't be flying with this airline again."

So even though I bought the ticket last week and showed up over an hour early when I got on the flight there were no seats, the seat they said they gave to me 19A was filled with another passenger with a ticket saying 19A so they also did not know what they were doing. The crew told me to sit anywhere, but three of us ended up having to get off the plane. I ended up being stuck in Los Angeles and missing a million $ meeting. No appology, no credit for future flights was made or even attempted by the crew. I'm considering a lawsuit to be honest unless some very quick and good service is provided. The crew was rude and stressed and all about leaving on time. HORRIBLE."

Cons: "Spirit is hands down the worst airline I have ever flown on. We thought we had found a steal of a flight for $180 from Philadelphia to Ft. Lauderdale until we found out that they literally charge you extra for every single other thing. Just to pick our 2 seats round trip cost us another $56. Checking bags both ways was another $168. Then while checking in, we were charged $30 for an "overweight" bag. Every single other airline has a 50 pound limit, but once again spirit found a way to be cheap and sub-par with a 40 pound limit. Luckily we managed to avoid their $100 carry on fee for if your bag doesn't meat they're incredibly small limit. Oh and their app, which every single other airline allows you to download for free, is $5. Once aboard the plane, the seats are made of hard plastic with barely any cushioning and the seat back tray won't even hold anything larger than a beverage. There is also no on-flight entertainment offered. This has been a learning experience to say the least. Suffice to say, I will never fly with Spirit Airlines again. They are incredibly cheap and try to nickel and dime you for every little thing. 2 thumbs WAY down."

Won't be flying Spirit next time I need a connecting flight. We waited 2 hours inside the plane at the gate before departing. We just informed we were delayed because of paper work and only after 1 hour we got an update. After an hour and a half we were told we could get off the plane if we wanted to get something to eat or drink... I'm tall so my legs were crammed. I guess the quote is true: you get what you pay for. Pay cheap, get cheap comfort, cheap service and expensive luggage fare!"

Paperwork had to be done by hand and single supervisor working on another flight that she needed to get on ground before she could work on us. Everything extra. Need to pay step fees to get decent seat, reasonable amount of luggage, and even water. By the time you add all this up, not a bargain. Also they don't participate in TSA pre check so had to wait on lines even with this."

I was in the boarding area 1 hour prior to loading (Not fully paying attention). I was standing 30 feet from the gate 20 minutes before boarding time (paying full attention) and did not realize they had already loaded the plane. They said they called my name 3 times which means I couldn't /didn't hear them. My bags left without me. I ended up buying a ticket on delta because I had to link up with my family for a reunion. This was one of the most memorable crappy experiences of my adult life."

Then the flight from Vegas to New Orleans was delayed 2 hrs at 2pm then site 2 hrs at 5pm until it was finally canceled at 10pm. After I spent 3.5 hrs standing in line I was re-booked a non direct flight the next day with another airline,and they put me up in a hotel for 2hours until my next day of flying to Denver, Houston, and then new Orleans. I was originally supposed to arrive in new Orleans via a direct flight Sunday night but ended up not reaching my final destination until Tuesday afternoon."
