The service in Lester b Pearson airport was unprofessional and sub standard by your employee Manija Anwarzada and her shift workers. They did not help me when I missed my flight to Pittsburgh because of our late arrival from Frankfurt. She and the others were not there to assist and help stranded passengers. In fact a couple of the staff were on cell phones and not helping passengers. She finally told us we had to go downstairs to the hall since her counter was closing. After traveling from Algiers to Frankfurt then on to Canada it was a terrible way to end the day. These emoyess made a very long day even longer.
I will never fly Air Canada again.
I will say once I got through customs there were more professional people who did at least get me a hotel room.

We paid cash for business class seats on this flight and they were terrible seats. They were NOT business class, they did not recline and there was no leg room. Nothing offered to drink upon boarding. All they did was take economy class seats, three wide, and put a thing on the middle seat to hold drinks. It was terrible and we will avoid Lufthansa in the future, and we travel a lot.
Boarding was easy. clean plane, crew was very friendly. I was very concerned though, when we banked left and did a complete circle in the air. An explanation from the captain would have been terrific. I made sure I was the last one to leave the plane and asked him about it when I saw him at the exit. He told me what happened but I would have liked to know while it was happening. Besides that, the coke and pretzels were divine. :)
The service was great, the airplane was really comfortable and the selection of drinks made this a great on-board experience. The flight was on time which is really important when you have a connection.
When we arrived in Pan amazing there was no gate available, it took like 30 minutes to get a bus to pick up us from the ramp to take us to the terminal. The airline seemed a bit disorganized in this case. Knowing that everyone was taking a connection flight the airline should have been prepared.
Missleading information from COPA personnel at JFK Airport about to claim the luggage in Bogota or Cali.
Secondly the last connection Bogota-Cali was not booked either by Copa or Kayak with Avianca Airlines, so after showing paper work and fighting with Copa we got 4 hour late flight. We were not the only ones, there were about 12 people with the same situation.
Never got on this flight. We were never given an email to self check in, and we're unable to board 45 mins before at the gate coming frim anotthe flight. They overbooked this flight & sold our tickets, and then told us we couldn't get on flight. Now we are out $2500 buying new tix!
All the above. A simple check in email would have averted this problem. All the other airlines do this. We were under the presumption that we had to check in at airport when we didn't get check-in notice. Furthermore, they sold our tickets, so we're down $2500 and they doubled their profit. It would be hard for me to say I will use Air Canada or kayak in the future.
The crew is very friendly and accommodating. Food was decent.
Delayed three hours in Amsterdam then caused me to miss my connecting flight to Seattle. Then they only gave me the option of being late a day. On top of all that they lost my luggage. Time to retire that 767.
The food on the flight was great. It's also nice to be able to recline the chairs so far.
The flight was packed full. Even though the chairs recline very far, that means you lose a lot of leg space when the person in front of you reclines. And there is also not very much leg room to begin with. The chairs are outdated (not nice fabric). Also, when the person ahead of you reclines their chair, you have to be very forceful in order to stow your tray table - it's actually a total design flaw. We got very mean looks from the women in front of us because we had to shake their chair so much in order to put away our tray tables. The air conditioning barely came out of the vent above my head, and the vent above my boyfriend's head was smashed completely so there was no air coming out of his at all. The flight was hot, and he was actually sweating.
Row 19 on a 737ER is great for room, as long as you don't plan on reclining (I rarely do in a daytime flight)
A little overcautious regarding seating the cabin crew because of possible turbulence, but better safe than sorry, I suppose. However, it is a common occurrence on this particular leg, so don't board knowing you might need to take a "break" before you get to Atlanta.
