The dirt cheap, I can't believe an airline can operate at this low an airfare and still turn a profit-ticket prices

The hidden checked-baggage fees that were almost half the cost of the actual ticket for one bag. The non reclining seats. The lack of legroom. The feeling of cattle being herded into a slaughterhouse. The lack of friendliness with the RDU and MCO gate/ticket counter agents. The cost of having to pay $12 to ensure I sit beside my 5 year old son on the flight. Besides a free seat belt, having to pay for everything else under the sun. Surprised AC was free. Not even an in-flight magazine or barf bag. Which is exactly what I feel like doing after giving you my money......

Virgin is the bomb - from the minute you enter check in @ airport, to boarding, to flight attendants' care, to the hilarious, creative yet helpful Virgin rap/choreographed safety video! I've also always loved flying Alaska Airlines, finding them another special airline that manages to make flying pleasant - in an era when it most often isn't, anymoret. So this merger is interesting & so far, so good

The flights to and from were completely full and I felt a bit crowded in my seat - but that's the price one pays for picking popular dates, times and destinations. The in flight entertainment and food/drink options help smooth any ruffled feathers : )

Good flight. Crew were nice and efficient.

Our flight was over an hour late in departing. We were boarded and on the tarmac for over an hour due to some sort of instrumentation problem. The captain kept us pretty much informed regarding the progress of resolving the problem. It was a bit nerve wracking, but once the problem was resolved, the flight was smooth and uneventful.

American Airlines

Dear United Airlines, It is my dearest wish that reading the following inflicts upon you at least a fraction of the stress, frustration, and pain that I have been through traveling with you today- you absolutely abhorrent excuse for a company. Due to your incomparable incompetence my arrival was inexcusably delayed almost 12 hours. An account follows: For a company who's customer service is already hanging by a very thin thread you would think that you would be doing everything to make your flights as smooth and pleasant as possible. Shall I elaborate on the utter frustration and boredom of being trapped in the San Francisco airport facing not one, not two, but what became SEVEN delays? Delays that have been caused by runway maintenance- a condition which someone in your company would have known about well before I got to the airport and that you simply did not plan for. A almost FOUR HOUR delay that could have been easily avoided if you just had things together and scheduled your planes around the affected runways. And let's not forget the additional delay caused when your flight crew simply couldn't be found to come to the gate so we could start getting underway! But no, I think the absolutely outstanding quintessential experience that defines flying with United airlines is this: After the above delays myself and my fellow passengers were finally able to board our flight- only to be told by the captain that there would be another brief delay while we waited for ANOTHER crew member because one of the pilots was near the end of their union hours. We sit on the plane stuck for another 20 minuets or so, only to be told they can't find anyone, and can we please get off the plane because our WHOLE FLIGHT is CANCELED. The kiosk I get to try and fix this is uncrowded but understaffed and run by clearly undertrained employees. The ones I'm dealing with keep having to ask each other for help, and give advice/plans that contradict one another. One of theme even takes what seems to be a personal call while 'assisting' me. When I finally get ahold of a supervisor I have to plead to get the next flight out of this godforsaken place, which I am reluctantly given as its with one of your competitors. Talking with other customer and airport staff is sounds very much like you are delaying/canceling flights for your own personal gain or at least not correcting flights around the situation to squeeze more money from the situation) it becomes quite clear that you are not only still incapable of accepting any real measure of accountability but entirely disgracefully unorganized.  Almost 12 hours later I do finally make it home- thanks to American Airlines.  Only to have the utter displeasure of one last interaction with United wherein when I pick up my bag your employees insist that I was delayed due to the weather and it wasn't your fault. It was entirely absolutely your fault.

I dislike that once I got to the airport in Cleveland before boarding schools go to Orlando they charge me $45 for a suitcase that if I would have painted with my ticket it would have been $25 and that's what it told me I had to pay at the airport if I wasn't going to pay it with my ticket it was only $25 not $45 so they charge me $45 and then when I went to board the plane to go in they tried to charge me $45 for a backpack that fits under the seat and wasn't a carry on then they charge like $3 for a can of soda I don't think I'll ever recommend Frontier to anyone or I would never travel again with them that is ridiculous being a disabled person and being taken advantage of is unacceptable

It was entirely absolutely your fault.

if you have a hard engagement that you have to make, i hate to say it, but use a bigger airline. These guys are not dependable nyc -> miami. Have had 2 flights cancelled and delayed over 6 hours in the last 6 months. Only one scheduled flight everyday. If you can risk it, fine, but otherwise not worth it.

Nice flight. No issues. Flight staff was great.

Front desk check in guy in Orlando was a bit shady. Asked that we pay for our check-in bags with cash and wanted 10$ cash to put our seats together. I did not give him cash and had to ask for a reciept for the checked bags. We were 4 hours early for check in.

No snacks offered on a 6+ hour flight (unless we were willing to pay a over $5 for a bag of chips), no complimentary headphones, no pillows. The airplane smelled funny, the seats weren't comfortable and there was no wi-fi. From LAX to JFK I flew JetBlue and had complimentary wi-fi the entire flight. I flew with a toddler and found the lack of children's programing disappointing - and the handheld keypad was broken on one of our chairs. Flight attendants gave me the wrong information about carry-on sizes when boarding my flight and said the size they allow changes based on how full the flight is. What? Overall, VERY disappointing.

Prices are per person and are for e–tickets and include all taxes & fees in USD.

We attempt to get accurate prices, however, prices are not guaranteed.

Here's why:

We’re not the seller.
At KAYAK we don’t set the prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.

We compile tonnes of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we can't guarantee prices we find.

Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car rentals can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find, on occasion, that certain prices are no longer available.

If you have more questions or if you have a bad price to report to us,
