The Airbus A330 used on this leg needs to be refurbished. The seats are all damaged, the in-seat power did not work (both 110v outlets and USB outlets) - the IFE screen looked like it was about 10 years old and would not stay unfolded, it just kept flopping down. At one point the flight attendant offered to "fetch some tape" to hold it in place for the flight. I felt very bad for her that she had been put in a position where this was even a reasonable suggestion to have to make.

Baggage chaos at LHR!!

Boarding was fast, staff were friendly and we reached on time. I was not able to use the entertainment due sound not working. The plane was an older and smaller version than what I had previously been on therefore, the space was uncomfortable (economy delight). The meals served was poor and they took very long to get to us.

The in flight crew were not friendly. One flight attendant in particular kept passing by and hit me really hard with her body as she passed by and never once apologized or said excuse me. I’m his startled me every time. I got a drink only 2 times in 9 hours and when I asked for a drink of water I did not get. Also when I put the call button on, no one came. This made me sad as I’ve been very polite as always and I don’t fly with any other airlines.

Boarded, departed and arrived early. Perfectly comfortable for an economy flight and spare seats allowed us to spread a bit. Decent food and plenty of drinks to keep us going. Excellent in flight entertainment system. Friendly and helpful staff. We were not able to check-in online, so had to do this at the airport, not long before the flight. Assume this was why our family of 4 was not seated together. It is rather frustrating to be sent a link to to check-in and then be denied without any explanation.

Both outbound to JFK and inbound from Atlanta the food options were very poor for a ticket selling at £2,500 when we left. A330 seats were more comfortable than the new A350 and wider, crew were far better on the 330 also. The cabin being smaller felt safer given the current issues.

Plane was delayed several hours, with no explanation, the food served was poor, and the entertainment system did not work for the entire flight for the majority of the plane

The couple ignored the instructions to move seats forward during meals making it impossible to eat. They placed their luggage in the overhead compartment belonging to both rows, which wasn't a problem if they hadn't proceeded to open and close the compartment every 20 minutes. The 300 pd dad repeatedly stepped on my broken toe while reaching for his luggage, while rattling around and disturbing sleeping passengers. And, sadly the child repeatedly threw temper tantrums without any care or effort of intervention from the parents. In short, they terrorized the surrounding travellers. All beverages are given out in small cups, even water is given out in small cups increments (finish in one gulp), they don't even give out small bottles of water. No complimentary packet (eye shades, socks etc.) , not even a barf bag for collecting trash."

Despite the difficulties of the Covid surge all logistics functioned seamlessly.

There was not enough time between connecting flights to be able to make them comfortably. I had to RUN to each one. The food on the United flight was deplorable for a 1st/business class ticket. YUKKKKK!

Lufthansa‘s Crew was exceptionally polite, helpful, quietly serving food and performing tasks placed on them. I appreciate their professional attitude . I loved getting a pillow and a blanket, which had at other airlines been a problem. Food was served quickly, as well as drinks. Thank you for all the work you do!

From USA, San Jose, Ca, to Frankfurt, Germany everything was good (flight on 08/31/2018 - 09/01/2018). They have been very profesional, beganing wih the boarding time untill the arrival in Frankfurt. The flight to Romania was a different story. They haven't been very professional at all. The flight had a delay and nobody said a word. It was just a clerck there who didn't tell to the Lufthansa passengers for a while anything about our delay. So, finally, he said after 15-20 minutes that our fligt will be later, 20 minutes, than the scheduled time on our tickets. They seemed do not care too much about the Romanian passengers."

The plane did not leave for another our and instead of arguing with the costumers they could have just helped us get on the plane. It was unfair of them to close the check in desks early and on top of that to catch a plane the next day they wanted to charge and exorbitant fee. I Wii never fly SAS again."

When we finally made it, they said we wouldn't make the flight. We rebooked and had to pay extra. WORST travel experience ever."

But on the day of flight, Air Canada refused their boarding, stating that they did not have Canada visas, the fight would transfer in Montreal which needs Canada visa. Finally, I found out that my parents had to transfer to Toronto, which does not need a visa. I want to warm all Chinese who don't have green card or Canada visa that do not buy tickets from Air Canada. Their customer service told me that they did not have the obligation to list this kind of information on their website. So if you choose Air Canada, you lose your money and deal with all the hassles by yourself. I will never use Air Canada in my whole life again."

I was on the line with lost and found before I went to ask her any questions, and I mentioned to her that I had been on hold for 30 minutes, and she said they weren't going to answer. So I then asked hire am I suppose to get my bag then? She repeated about calling the 800 #, and at this time a lady runs up the counter thinking that she missed her flight. She shows the attendant her phone and is hysterical thinking that she missed her flight and the flight attendant told her just go sit down it's not here yet you didn't miss it. The customer then starts yelling in another language and the flight attendant just tells your just go sit down calm down and go sit down. She's doing all of this while I'm standing there she pulls out her phone and then told her co-worker I should put her on YouTube the way they do us. All the while I'm standing there because I still have more questions and she just ignored me like I wasn't even standing there. I more than likely will never fly this airline again, I'm paying for their services and to get treated like this, no thanks!!"

The 1.5 hour flight kept getting delayed again and again and again. The assigned gate got changed 4 times and we found ourselves having to walk with our bags from one to another. It finally took off at 12:30 at night with an ORIGINAL departure time of either 8:40 or thereabouts. You're talking about a 4 hour delay. Weather? Raining, but nothing that was serious. It was just, well, raining. No explanation was ever given for the delay although, uhh, complimentary bags of pretzels were handed out. I felt bad for the ground and flight crew. They had to deal with us less-than-pleased passengers and, really, the delay was beyond their control. Which leads me to believe poor scheduling by Air Canada of available planes was a reason. It was all very, very bad and, given a previous flight 10 days ago that took 5 hours instead of the scheduled 1.5, we'll never use Air Canada again."

This was a really unpleasant delay situation. We needed a lot more information and gate agents to help out. I will strongly try to avoid Air Canada in the future. Overall two thumbs down on the experience."

The delay was weather related, and Air Canada can't control the weather; but I wish they would have been honest about the length of the delay instead of stringing us along with anticipated departure times for five hours."
