There were seats available and Delta tried to move me but KLM would not allow it????"

A smiling face showed up within minutes & asked if I wanted coffee. She told me that when she hears someone else say "no" that she thinks it should always be "yes". She was the African American flight attendant (wish I would have got her name). She brought me coffee, offered tylenol & checked in on me again later."

The ground staff wasn't at all helpful in trying to get me on another flight and in fact sent me to Delta! The lady there couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. Sadly I wasn't compensated at all and had to pay to re-book the flights on the Sunday 17th. On my return from Brisbane, American Airlines had cancelled my flight to Atlanta as they said I was a 'no show' heading out. Thankfully I was able to get a seat on stand by. So, no I'm not a happy customer."

Had to sleep in airport and pray to make the AM flight. I'm so disappointed that we are not picked in waiting order. No, all the others did not have priority seating or something. Passengers talk while waiting, so I know I'm not assuming this. We also heard the employees conversations about "hoping to get a seat too". None of us were told our new flight assignments were "stand by" either. If I was aware of this, I would have made another flight arrangement or could have driven to my destination! I paid for a ticket, yet employees on stand by flight get priority. Not right!"

I would not recommend Frontier to anyone unless they absolutely cannot afford another airline. There are affordable airlines that do cheap flights well. This is not one of them."

Didn't offer any free beverages on the flight. You had to pay $2 for a soda. Plane was old and beat up. None of the machines worked to print up my boarding pass which left me on a long line where me and a couple other people missed their flight due to lack of staff behind the counter. They tried to charge me another $100 for another flight and still charged me the $70 for the flight I missed. So I went to American and got first class for A LOT cheaper than what I paid all together for this flight. Waste of time, money and just a big disappointment all around. Will NEVER fly frontier again!"

I was told by TSA, and not the airline, that the same crew at the ticketing corner moved to the gate to board people 45 minutes before flight. Because I was there 40 minutes before flight, I got zero customer service. This was my first and last time flying Frontier! I wish zero stars was an option."

Cons: "Spirit is almost always late leaving, delayed or cancelled. And I have encountered many displays of spectacular incompetence with Spirit airlines employees, however my most recent flight experience took my opinion of the airline to an all time low. I am filing a formal complaint with Spirit as well as the DOT - with the support of nearby passengers who were as thoroughly appalled as I was with the insolent manner in which I was spoken to by a flight attendant. I have never encountered such a patronizing, disdainful attitude by anyone in the service industry for any reason. Even after a fellow passenger spoke up to tell her that she was out of line, and I had calmly and respectfully communicated to her that she was speaking to me in an unacceptable manner, she proceeded to engage me. I asked to get her information so that I could file a complaint and then when I attempted to take a photo of her badge she covered it up and demanded my boarding pass repeatedly. I told her I would give her my boarding pass upon receipt of her information and she proceeded to bring me a paper that said it was a felony to "interfere with the duties of a flight attendant" and stated that my refusal to do was interfering with her duties. I chuckled in disbelief and handed it to her. As she left with it passengers continued to suggest I report her and give me their contact information. She brought my boarding pass back and then told me her first name was Cecelia and that she had made the pilot aware that there was a problem on board (me). I thanked her for being such a classy professional with the utmost dedication to customer service. On the contrast, I am a professional woman, I own my business and I would never speak to a vendor (or anyone else for that matter) in any comparable manner, let alone a client. This is a disgrace, even for Spirit standards."
Cons: "I was unable to make the flight to Tampa or Atlanta due to a family emergency. I called customer service several times on 9/14 to try to change and later to cancel my flight and was told that I would be charged $100 to cancel (which was more than the ticket) plus a cancellation fee of $17.99 x 2 (1 cancellation charge for each leg of the flight) and thus my cost to cancel again was more than the ticket so to the cover the cost they would also take away from the $40 (each way) which I had paid to check my bag. The customer service rep told me that this would result in a $40 credit toward another flight should I choose to book one on their airline (which I will not) but that the credit would only be good for 90 days. In other words, everything was non-refundable. Clearly the Spirit Airlines business model is a set up to rip people off. I was told by the customer service rep (somewhere in the Philippines) that I would receive a confirmation email with a cancellation number but I never did despite the fact that I verified the email address that they had on hand. I did not fly this airline and now I never will. EVER. I would rather pay more for my flight."

Had I believed the e-mail from Spirit, I would have been left -- and they would have blamed it on me -- because I relied on Spirit's e-mails."

They confirmed that the flight was cancelled and assured me that it was okay and that they would be able to get me on another flight... in eight days. Yes, really, 8 days. I demanded a refund, flew with another airline, and vowed to never fly spirit again."

It all started a couple weeks before the actual trip when I called their customer service number (it's a toll number NOT 1-800) and come to find out their call center is located in Asia. Talk about a language and culture barrier. The individual on the phone was not able to help me out due to their lack of speaking basic English. The trip itself started with a cabin that was disgustingly dirty from the previous flight and yes you WILL get buckled and dimed for everything! Want a Coke? It will cost you 3$. Need a boarding pass? 5$ In fact, to be able to carry on a small average sized suitcase it cost 45$. Seriously! 45$ just to carry on a smal suitcase and that price is just one way! Do yourself a favor and fly with a legacy carrier instead Delta, American, or United). Spirit has horrible customer service, dirty airplanes, and thy will nickle and dime every possible dollar from you! That's all!"

The seat pocket wasn't even a pocket, it was just string so when the crew asked us to put away electronics there was no place to easily put them temporarily during takeoff and landing. The "tray table" was just a waste you couldn't even put anything on it because it was so small. In order to not be charged $10 per ticket we had to print our boarding passes at the hotel which was very inconvenient. I wish they had a mobile app like other airlines that can be scanned. Overall the flight was mediocre at best. We got from point A to point B."
