Pros: "I have never flown Frontier. Everything was smooth. Crew was friendly and helpful. Did not purchase food items on plane and there is no entertainment but I knew that booking the flight. I sat in the 3rd row and had a reclining chair and plenty of leg room. Bags checked easily and in baggage claim fairly quickly. Frontier has a new fleet of planes and this plane was very clean and newer. I will fly frontier again. Price is right and great expierence. What more can you ask for?!"

I watched my flight say on time and then our time passed and then was deleted from the que on the board. No one informed us what was going on. We were moved to three different gates. The employees of this airline need to be retrained immediately. If i were the CEO I would close immediately and focus on training, customer service and communication. I will never fly this airline again and I will advise every single person I know to fly a different airline."

Pros: "Horrible...AGAIN. I even bought a seat in row 2 in hopes of better comfort and a nap. No way. Crew SLAMMED drawers and doors andb turned bright lights off and on the whole way. In addition, the seats are just as uncomfortable up front in rows 1 & 2 as the rest of the plane. I'm short so more leg room wasn't what I was going for. Guess it's too much to expect a more comfortable seat, even when paying for it. Worst of all the flight was grossly delayed AGAIN...1 3/4 HRS. My last return flight from SLC to ATL was over 2 hrs delayed and by the time we arrived, the airport was closed. We had to be hussled out a back door (just tough if anyone had to use the bathroom), down a flight of stairs and across some distance to wait to be loaded ont to busses with wet seats , then driven to baggage claim. This time, the train closed down at T gates and we were detoured down to south terminal baggage claim...but needed to be in north baggage claim. Furthermore, the baggage crew must have taken a break in the middle of unloading bags. I waited nearly ONE HOUR for my bag, and there were still a good 30 or more passengers waiting for theirs when I got mine."

Cons: "Almost missed my flight because there were so few attendents at the baggage drop. I waited 38 minutes just to drop my bag (excluding wait time to lrint my boarding pass). The attendents were rude. I was charged 40 dollars for a carry on bag. The seats were horrifically uncomfortable. I was given half a cup of water only on the flight. The lights were on and bright throughout the entire overnight flight. The seats don't decline, nor do they have much cushioning. Honestly, everything was so disorganized that when it came tome to land, I was scared it might be the last breath of my life because the quality of servuce had been so bad, I wasn't sure if the pilot was even certified to be a pilot. Luckily, I did not die. I will never fly Frontier again and am far less likely to use Kayak because of this horrible flight."

I know you're a lower tear airlines but it's 2016! Give the people the all in price and if you won't give them entertainment or wifi make worth their wild. Also note, the tray table was about the size of a tablet, I couldn't even use my computer to do local work during the flight. I appreciate the safe flight but from a high level: 1: make your online prices more transparent. 2: if you're going to be lower tear, make it clear that wifi and infighting entertainment isn't included. People will still choose to fly cheap, but to burry hidden charges is horrible."

Kayak sold me the tickets for a certain price and when I started to check in for my flight I had to pay additional for seats and carry on luggage. I ended up paying $102 more for two people on my one way reservation the night before the flight. Kayak should at least make their customers aware that this will happen as it is a lot of money!!!! The flight itself was on time, with a curteous and funny crew. No complains there."

Upon landing, our gate was occupied and somehow an additional plane was being given access to the soon-to-be vacant gate before us. Flight steward was funny and tactful with dealing with a customer's complaint about idling engine noise as we waited on our gate, but I could definitely sense the tension between the two, and the nonexistent desire of the stew to deescalate the situation, but rather, antagonize the guest a bit in reprimanding him for his complaint."

After waiting in the kiosk line, it didn't recognize my Confirmation#. After using my name, I was able to get a print out, but it said too late!! 40min before take off and I did not get to board."

Cons: "I was unable to make the flight to Tampa or Atlanta due to a family emergency. I called customer service several times on 9/14 to try to change and later to cancel my flight and was told that I would be charged $100 to cancel (which was more than the ticket) plus a cancellation fee of $17.99 x 2 (1 cancellation charge for each leg of the flight) and thus my cost to cancel again was more than the ticket so to the cover the cost they would also take away from the $40 (each way) which I had paid to check my bag. The customer service rep told me that this would result in a $40 credit toward another flight should I choose to book one on their airline (which I will not) but that the credit would only be good for 90 days. In other words, everything was non-refundable. Clearly the Spirit Airlines business model is a set up to rip people off. I was told by the customer service rep (somewhere in the Philippines) that I would receive a confirmation email with a cancellation number but I never did despite the fact that I verified the email address that they had on hand. I did not fly this airline and now I never will. EVER. I would rather pay more for my flight."
