I checked in at 2 pm and waited for my 5 pm boarding call. First class was amazing! I stored my belongings without any issues. I sipped wine and dined on pasta and watched the movie Father Figures with Owen Wilson and Ed Helms. The stewardess was polite and friendly. The food was enjoyable and the passengers were friendly. The bathroom as also immaculate, I was impressed."

Rushing to C33 I found another flight boarding at that location with one United Representative who could not stop to answer questions. Seeing two unoccupied Representatives at the next gate (C32), I asked if they could help me with the confusion, they said I should check with gate C33 - which I told them that she was too busy with other passengers. I searched for a Departure Board and discovered that gate C33 was still the gate, but "aircraft maintenance" had delayed the flight until after 8:20. After having to check my carry-on because of lack of space in the overheads, my departure from the airport was further delayed another 30 minutes. Upon returning home and checking my email, I found notifications of two different gate changes (C33 & C44). Announcements should have been made at both gate C39 about the changing of the gate and at C33 explaining the problem. The captain's lame excuse about air conditioning and Phoenix's hot weather was lame to say the least."

On June 10th I Called United to reschedule my June 11th flight and was referred to Lowestfare.com at 800.678.0998. I spoke to Albert and explained my situation and was told that I couldn't reschedule. I asked to speak to a manager and spoke to Jane who only confirmed that I couldn't reschedule and nothing could be done. Not allowing customers with verifiable medical excuses to reschedule their flight is a shameful business practice."

The coffee maker onboard had been broken for a long time and the airline couldn't be bothered to fix it. If I were the flight crew, I would have gone on strike. No leg (or arm) room on the express jet really punctuated a 34 hour itinerary with a sour note. I could barely walk off the plane in the end. Less comfortable than a cheap rental truck for the same amount of time. I likely won't fly again with United. I'd almost rather walk next time to be completely honest. At least it would be healthier!"

Not the worst experience I've had flying but far from being a good experience. It probably isn't worth flying united unless it's 1st class. But even they had to wait 30+mins for luggage!"

The app was the only thing that helped me understand what was going on during the constant time and gait changes throughout the day."
Cons: "This airline is terrible. First we were told that the flight would be delayed 1 hour and 40 minutes. We were supposed to leave at 2139 from IAH to PHX. They changed the departure to 2309 due to "mechanical failure" of one of the aircrafts. We were told a plane was coming and that we were just waiting for another flight to Albuquerque that was delayed before us to leave the gait. Long after that first delayed flight left passengers for PHX were delayed 3 more times which ended in the final tenative departure time being 0145. We were told at 0115 to sit tight and wait because the plane was now here but the crew was still in route. Shortly after this promise, the crew showed up and everything seemed to be ready for us to board. Another 30 minutes went by and they announced that the flight was cancelled. United airlines had used up over 4 hours of changing gaits and times only to end up cancelling the entire flight. They did not offer any explanation for this nor were they the least sympathetic to the travelers who have all paid to be on that flight. The customer service was disgraceful and did not offer any type of help on reimbursement, hotel, cabs, or compensation for this."

Cons: "We left over two hours late due to a "missing tool", and once we arrived in Chicago we sat on the plane for another HOUR before we could get to our gate. During this time, not even a free glass of water was offered. Such a waste of my time. I won't be flying Spirit again!"

Cons: "I was travelling from Atlanta to Tampa on 25thfebrury 2017. The birding cards were issued. First it was announced several times the flight was delayed. Finally the flight was cancelled. I paid US 55 for the My only bag. The amount has so far not refunded in my account. My fight number was NK541. Confirmation code is PHFHKE. My name is Inam Rabbani. Please refund my money into my account."
Pros: "So many add ons - you have to pay for a carryon. No upholstery on the backs of seats, tiny tray tables, no free water. Crowded. But we landed safe."

Cons: "People at checkin were rude. I arrived very early, but had difficulty with printing my boaarding pass, and needed explanation about the bag charges. The attitude was bad...customer service was simply not there. Lady at counter seemed not to like her job, so ruined the whole experience for me. This was my first, and probably last time on this airline."

When I contacted your airline to determine how to fix the issue your representative charged me the $35 phone fee and then also only sold me a one way ticket almost twice the cost of my original ticket. Then i had to purchase another ticket. I am giving you an opportunity to remedy this then i am taking it to social media."

Then if I wanted early boarding I could pay additional fee. If I wanted a glass of water that was a fee. Fee for this. Fee for that. fee for everything…"
Pros: "Spirit is the 'low cosf' carrier so you get what you pay for."
Cons: "Since most people travel with at least one piece of luggage, charging money for the very first piece is absurd."

Cons: "I was asked to change my seat from 29A to 3E to accommodate a family who wanted to sit together. I was told that 3E was a better seat. 3E turned out to be a nightmare. A row away was a child who screamed for 75% of the flight but that wasn't the worst part. 3E was situated between a man and a woman who must have weighed 450 pounds! I literally had half of a seat for the entire flight. I really feel that I should be reimbursed because of how uncomfortable I was forced to fly for the entire flight. A person of that size should not be squeezed into a row of three seats."

Could have still made my flight but was held up, then after that happen the people working were really just trying to get me to buy another flight and kept raising the prices. Over all the worst experience ever and would never recommend this airline to anyone."

Cons: "Uncomfortable seat, no recliner, no entertainment for long flight. Flight attendance was a bit unprofessional, closing the overhead storage doors way too hard and loud."
Cons: "I didn't like not knowing before I got to the airport that it cost $55.00 to carry on a backpack. I saw a family of four whose mother was crying because they were not aware either. Their trip all of a sudden would cost them $55.00 x 4 carry on bags to total $210.00 for one way. This grand total of $420.00 wouldn't be such a big deal if they had been aware of it. So maybe make it more clear to your customers what exactly your selling and offering."
