I wouldn't say I liked being forced to check my small roller bag at the gate; too many people had bags and were in a higher boarding group.
There is no free Wi-Fi or screens in the seats for this flight. It would be nice if they had actual actual healthy drink options like a flavored sparkling water. The flight was very dark because nobody was sitting on the left side and they didn't open any of the windows. The plane was kind of and had small overhead bins. There was no distinguishable difference between economy and comfort Plus.
I was flying from nyc jfk home to Miami and I used a flight credit from delta since they destroyed my bag earlier that year. On this return flight I landed retrieved my bag and noticed when I got home that delta ripped a hole in my bag and got one of my belongings caught up wrapped around the wheel of my Tumi bag!!! Oh and now their policy says they won’t replace it.
One of the flight attendants named Crystal was so happy, always had a smile for everyone, it was such a change from the stoic attendants I’m used to in the past. Thank you Crystal
Delta airlines charge $ 30,oo US DOLLARS for the check in for a suitcase in the baggage hold
Pros: "The flight from EWR to MSP was extremely quiet. No loud engine noises."
Cons: "We were vert disappointed at the Newark Airport - the Delta Club was closed and there had been no notification prior to arriving at the airport. I certainly missed that early morning coffee."
Cons: "Given we left at 7:15 am, I would’ve liked some food options instead of biscuits and peanuts"
Cons: "The crew was overly aggressive with mask policy enforcement. They patrolled the aisles and routine pointed at passengers directing them in a hostile manner to keep their masks on their faces, even when they were trying to eat or drink. They also threatened customers by stating it was a federal law several times. It was very uncomfortable to say the least. I will not fly delta again by choice."

It was a good flight overall. The flight was delayed but the crew apologized for that.
Pros: "The flight was good. The service and information incorrect and could have resulted in my bags being lost if I was not super careful (see below)"
Cons: "(1) The check in people erroneously told me that my bags would be checked all the way through which was not correct (2) I bought duty free and had to exit the traveler section of the airport. therefore my 'duty free" became an issue at Trinidad (3) Very fortunately I checked the carousel at Trinidad airport only to find out that I had to re-check my bags in Trinidad. (4) The Trinidad check in staff were not very helpful. I had to wait until someone was available (and they took their sweet time) to take me through some back entrances so that I would not have to re-pay duty on my goods. Not a pleasant experience and one that I will avoid at all costs in the future. This is not the way to treat customers and TOTALLY un-necessary. This is not 21st Century travel!"

A passenger traveling with a baby and did changed the baby's PAMPERS right there on the seat which automatically put a putrid odor in about 10 seat perimeter that lasted for a LONG time and the crew didn't say anything until everyone complained"

We were just ordered off the plane seemingly as an afterthought, and didn't know what to do thereafter. After eventually finding our departure gate the agent we voiced our displeasure to said all that mattered was that we found the gate and we were safe. Not satisfactory. Not acceptable for a customer oriented business"

Cons: "British airways pushed the flight time which made the original connection flight from Heathrow impossible. They notified justfly the company who we used to book the flight and told them the reservation would be cancelled. Only justfly never did something about that. They did not notify us about any changes and when we arrived at the airport the lady at the counter told us we don't have a reservation even though justfly happily took our money. If it weren't for the BA staff who rebooked is through Air France we probably wouldn't have made it."

Cons: "1. No toiletries were available for business class even on this flight. 2. There was no food choice especially if you prefer vegetarian. 3. Even if One presses a button to request for some water, no one comes to the seat; this habit of BA continues for the good part of the last decade. Reminded me why I stopped flying BA! 4. No wifi even in Business class! Someone in senior management of BA needs to fly SQ, Cathay, Qatar, Emirates and learn what can be improved. Most of these airlines have better service in economy than business on BA!"

Cons: "American isn’t my preferred airline for obvious reasons (delays, notoriously bad service, old planes, and a lack of amenities like WiFi and tv’s), but now I’ll never spend my money with them again. They took me off an already delayed flight after I’d already boarded to examine my smart bag. I know that lithium batteries can’t be taken in the underbelly of the plane and I knew my bag would likely be checked at the gate (why I removed the battery and left it at home in the first place). When they asked me if I had a lithium battery in my bag I said “no.” They then gate checked the bag and allowed me on the plane. After everyone had been boarded (half an hour after we’d been scheduled to take off) they then called my name out on the speaker. I had to then de-board the plane and re-explain to staff that there was no lithium battery in my bag. The staff didn’t believe me citing the infallible logic: “there are ports so there’s a battery.” I told them again and again that the battery had been removed and the charging ports—while there—were inert as they weren’t attached to the battery. STILL, I had to remove all of my clothes from the bag, and open every single compartment (of which there were many) for them to allow me to get back onto the plane. They were telling me that they might have to “rebook the flight” if my bag couldn’t get on. I don’t think I need to explain how agitated/terrified that made me."
