We landed at 7:35 pm did get out of the plane till 8:45 pm pilot informed that their was a plane broken down on the gate that the plane was to go in that it would take 5 to 10 minutes, after 40 minutes the air we were breathing started to be bad and people started to complain so they turned the air full blast and the pilot as I was walking out of the plain was laughing like nothing had happened (very un professional) ( I would never fly Alaska again…..)
I’m a small lady , I was in the middle seat and could barely move . My muscles were cramping most of the flight . Very uncomfortable!!
We brought our own food on board. Did not use entertainment. Airport agents knew my husband arrived in a wheelchair and they moved us forward in the cabin from assigned seats. Such a gift! We requested wheelchair assistance when we reserved the flights, but the request disappeared from all 4 legs of round trip. However, very easy to add at the airport.
We had no food or enjoyed entertainment. Flight was only about 1 hour. Lovely experience.
Be prepared for departure delays at SFO while the runways are under construction. No fault of the airlines, so be flexible. Alaska is my favorite air line but needs to pay flight attendants for all the time they're at work, not just when in the air.
First time traveling on plane, everything was very easy for me.
The flight was delayed for about 3 hours . It would have been better if more explanation was given why. The flight crew was excellent and the service was great
The staff were nice and the plane was clean, but charging for everything beyond the ticket was, quite frankly, poor customer service on your part. A cross-country flight should include at least a sandwich and one checked bag. This was my first Alaska flight and was booked because of convenience, but it might not have been worth it because of the baggage fee. United had free wi-fi and free movies, at least. Southwest allows for one free checked bag and has prices comparable to yours.
I couldn't cancel or change my flight so I paid for nothing.
From check-in staff to in-flight staff, everyone was wonderfully kind
What an idiot at the boarding gate. Even flying First she was mean and unpleasant.
For the money that I paid it was a good deal. I sat in the back of the plane and didn't pick a seat and my wife I sat together. Mission accomplished.
The flight was delayed several times without explanation. The seats were terribly uncomfortable and wifi isn’t included. All these make for a less than ideal flight.
They cancelled two flight and got us onto another airline, which was also delayed.
Nothing, terrible travel experience due to weather and maintenance delays and was left stranded in Austin.
28 hour delay at Fort Worth/Dallas airport, part due to weather which was unavoidable, but various other reasons - no pilot, no fa, mechanical problem, plane too small, too big, crew out of flying time, seat configuration problems.... endless and hourly updates with a different excuse. Finally told us about 3.00 am, that the flight was delayed to hours later.
Delayed so that missed connecting flight. Connecting flight was also delayed on the tarmac but they closed the gate before the rescheduled time.
Took off over an hour late with multiple mechanical issues. Gate agent in Dallas was lazy and was slow as molasses. Had a line 10 people long. Spirit bad..
LIT to DFW - 3 hours late; the entire plane had been boarded before they told us there was a delay due to a weather-related ground stop in Dallas. DFW to MAY - 2+ hours late due to A/C needing to be repaired after everyone had boarded, then when we finally reach the runway, the First Officer timed out and we had to taxi all the way back to the gate and wait for a new one. I arrived in New Orleans 5+ hours later than I should have. Return flights were completely cancelled; rebooked through the app to fly through CLT instead of DFW. MSY to CLT had no issues, but CLT to LIT was delayed 1.25 hrs because flight attendants had not arrived to the airport yet. At least they didn’t make us all sit on the plane to wait for them. I should have driven.
