Cons: The Terminal in Chicago had no open amenities and overcrowded.

Read more about American Airlines

Cons: The Terminal in Chicago had no open amenities and overcrowded.

Cons: We didn’t even have a pilot, had to call and find one because our pilot that was scheduled “forgot to call in sick”. We were already delayed by 4 hrs so this made it delayed by an hour more!

Cons: Entertainment system nor working properly. 40 minute flight delay due to minor cabin seat malfunction.

Pros: Glad we made it back.
Cons: Flight could have been on time. Attendants in the airline could have communicated much better to give update on delay, but they did not give any information despite several times getting up to ask questions at the main check-in. Many of the passengers were very discouraged. Plane left nearly 2 hours late due to an unclear maintenance issue, paperwork and also no fuel put in the plane until all passengers we on board.

Cons: We need food

Pros: Fell asleep
Cons: Nothing

Pros: I like the ability to watch movies
Cons: The cabin was hot... air didn’t blow well... the crew was abrasive and rude. I asked simple questions and got long explanations for no reason

Pros: Crew was excellent especially the first class attendant very attentive and always checking on you
Cons: The food needs to be back to normal for first class and also baggage is very slow almost over 30 min wait

Pros: The aircraft was very clean, neat and well maintained. The crew was friendly. Process of checked-in luggage was seamless and straightforward.
Cons: I found the istructions on some restricted items to be confusing and contradictory between instructions at the airport, the AA website and the TSA website. The agent at the counter was well-informed, though, and it all ended up going well.

Pros: Great crew
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Everything was how should be
Cons: I like how you are now.

Pros: The fact that no one sat next to me believe me it was not a my choice there was just not a body to put in the seat
Cons: The staff was not friendly or say hello or goodbye

Cons: None of the USB outlets were working in isle 7 A-C

Pros: yes
Cons: nothing

Cons: More comfortable seats you can sleep in

Cons: Leave a seat empty in the middle could be good for social distancing

Pros: Roomy, comfy seats. Thanks for the snack and bottle water provided during covid
Cons: Nothing really

Cons: Foood

Pros: Very timely and efficient
Cons: Seats are really small

Pros: I was pleased there was entertainment for a short flight.
Cons: My original flight was cancelled and I could only be booked onto one the following day, causing me to miss a good portion of my dear friend's wedding festivities. I am pretty bummed to have paid the amount for a Friday flight only to be able to arrive on Saturday.

Cons: Flight was delayed by an hour. My bag did not get on the correct plane. It had to be delivered the following day.

Pros: I received the survey for this flight before we even boarded lol. People’s online boarding passes had expired. Noted that it was “due to weather” weather is totally clear, haven’t seen a flake of snow, it’s just cold.

Pros: The crew skipped me for breakfast and i had to ask for food.
Cons: The food was not very good. Bread rolls stale and inedible. The rest of the flight was good.

Pros: Gate agents were timely.
Cons: There was not a wheelchair at the arrival as previously agreed with American. No food on board - just drinks. Boarding took forever.

Pros: Everything.
Cons: Waiting for 30 minutes a Dublin to dock.

Pros: Great crew again, basic aircraft but comfortable economy seats.

Pros: Outbound, it was on time, plenty of legroom, plenty of good snacks, drinks and food. An enjoyable flight. Score 10.0
Cons: Return flight - The flight departed 4 hours late. The seating was so cramped my husband couldn't move his legs at all, never mind try to sleep. The staff members were not smart in appearance, some with long untidy hair, and did not interact with passengers except to hand out food. The food was reasonable. We disembarked feeling like wrecks. Score 2.0

Cons: Our last 6 flights have all been changed or delayed significantly. Then they loose our bags on a direct flight. Won’t fly America airlines again!

Cons: The flight was delayed. The food was not great. There is not a lot of space in these planes, and it was a long flight. There is no power supply.

Pros: Eventually, the actual flight was fine.
Cons: Initially delayed by 3hours (mechanical) which was American Eagle couldn’t get their “bucket of bolts” to Springfield, MO on time so we missed our flight out of Charlotte to Barcelona. Then we were rerouted through Chicago, but lost our first class seats and were bumped back to coach. This was after I had bought first class tickets for the entire trip only to be told 3 months before leaving that AA decided to switch planes on our domestic flight so there’s were no first class seats. THEN, in Chicago we tried to get first class seats on British Airways which would have been fine but After being sent to another terminal (after the bus to that terminal had stopped running) we were turned back because British Airways wouldn’t accept the boarding pass that AA had issued us. Now, having to go back to the first terminal to DISCUSS all this, we miss that flight and wind up stuck in Chicago for another 24 hours. Then, that flight was delayed by 3 hours, so we lost a day and a half of our vacation.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: I chose a package on the cheap flights that has a left hand side for choosing number of baggage which invariably inreases fare depending on the number of baggage and i choose 2 and paid for 2 baggage but the ticket came with 1 baggage and i contacted both by phone call, email and your website but did not get any fsvourable response. Had to pay again at the airport for the extra bag. This is highly unfair.

Pros: Flight was on time.

Cons: flight kept getting changed from delayed to on time then we finally get on the runway and have to shut the engines down and we were told that we would have to wait there for an hour

Pros: Short flight
Cons: Really unconfortable seats.

Pros: It was on time. Crew were very good.
Cons: Plane seemed very dated. No individual entertainment No USB chargers Not much space

Cons: The airline "randomly" selected me for extra security. Even though I have TSA pre-check I was jostled around, sent to multiple security lines without any reasoning and the local Chicago TSA and airport staff didn't seem to know what to do. Once it was figured out I was subjected to what was essentially a cavity search. Again I HAVE TSA-pre-check but apparently that means nothing if an airline flags you. It was an extremely upsetting experience but you were in a situation of either agree to the invasive search or get stranded over 1000 miles from home. I will NEVER fly Iberia again after a cancelled flight and being stranded in the wrong country on the way to my vacation and the horrible security experience on the way back. I seriously may never go to Chicago either after seeing the complete lack of organization and traumatizing personal invasion. I fly a lot for work and have never had such a horrible experience. I would really like to know how many terrorists are caught with these invasive searches and would love to know the justification for sticking your hands inside someone's pants and grabbing their privates after they have already gone through a metal detector AND the body scanner. Especially for someone who has already passed a federal background check to obtain pre-check status. Absolutely ridiculous.

Pros: Gate flight updates
Cons: No information on luggage even though they knew luggage was not received in London They could have sent me an update instead of having me wait at carousel for 1:30 hours waiting for my bag to show up

Pros: Seats quite comfortable. Crew ok.
Cons: Pitiful food offering and no entertainment at all when on previous 1.5 hour AA flight choice of movies.

Pros: United airlines canceled a flight last minute that I needed in order to get to my best friends' wedding on time, I usually fly AA but the United flights were slightly cheaper at the time. The options United gave me would have had me missing the wedding, AA had more flights that allowed me to make it in time, considering it was booked 12 hours before take-off, it was decently reasonable and left on time and got in early (imagine that, United). Thank you American Airlines, again!

Cons: The entertainment system in my seat was broken. Was a bummer since we added a extra hour ground hold for weather.

Pros: The water was clean
Cons: Everything else! We were first sold a British airlines flight, and then we got switched to American Airlines. I don't know if that is actually an okay thing for them to do. When we got onto to plane we were stuck on the runway for over 2 1/2 hours, where the outside temperature was 95 degrees and the AC in the plane didn't work. The delay was all due to a mechanical difficulty with the engine, this did not give us peace of mind when flying over the atlantic. while up in the air my newly wedded wife and I were hoping maybe we could watch a movie to help keep our minds off the creaking of the wings, the pool of sweat from the delay, and the grumpy flight attendants. Seeing as it was a 9 hour international flight, you would have expected some sort of entertainment. Maybe a personal TV.... nope. Maybe a community TV... nope. At least they have to have a radio....... nope. All we got were our two thumbs to twiddle. After a much needed nap. We woke up hoping maybe for a hot breakfast, but to put the cherry on top of some terrible ice cream, we got a mediocre cold breakfast. All in all I will not fly American Airlines again. I would happily and quickly pay double for any other airlines but them. It's such a poor reprisentation of our country.

Pros: First class flight attendant was awesome!!

Cons: Dry / borderline rude staff and hostess. Dated plane. Tiny seats. But that is pretty much the baseline of airlines in the US. When will carriers start to take note from International carriers..leaps and bounds ahead.

Pros: Staff was very nice; very courteous.
Cons: We were delayed for 2 hours! I had a premium seat but still ended up boarding with Group 6. Almost ran out of room and had to check my roller. Not happy with late boarding given that when I booked my ticket, it said I'd have priority seating.

Pros: The entertainment was updated and refreshing.
Cons: Snacks was only pretzel

Pros: Free checked bag
Cons: 2 hour delay No food to buy or drinks

Pros: Eventually we made it
Cons: Plane was delayed because a door wasn't working (old). Business class entertainment was a tablet that was collected an hour before we landed. Food was very bland.

Pros: Ok flight
Cons: Not iberia

Cons: We were downgraded from Main Cabin Extra rows 7 and 8 to row 30. We were told that we will get refund automatically. However, we received nothing. Getting a refund back is now becomes a very complicated process with zero transparency. Main Cabin Extra is kind of a scam. We bought it specifically for an extra leg room. However, on the flight from PHX to BOS, all seats in the economy class have the same leg room. The agent explicitly told us that on this plane all seats are the same. So, they offer product they do not have and collect money. Sounds like a scam to me.

Pros: Crew professional and pleasant
Cons: Food not applicable

Pros: It was a fuller flight, but the airline staff did a great job either making sure there was compartment space or checking people's bags for free. Even with the fuller flight, the boarding process went by really quickly.
Cons: Would have preferred to switch the pretzels out for maybe some salty crackers or chips

Pros: Monica the attendant at the gate was SUPER cheerful! She had a smile on her face and was funny too! She did a great job,

Cons: Flight attendant crushed my backpack

Cons: Bigger seats

Pros: That we eventually got there
Cons: Flying a different airline. The crew is always great, but I’ve never been on a United flight that left on time. And their economy deals are terrible

Pros: Great crew
Cons: Had to wait to board

Pros: Upgraded to First Class so it was great.
Cons: No entertainment unless you download their app and use your personal device. Other airlines do this better.

Pros: Boarding was slow because the flight was sold out.
Cons: Slow service. Poor loading and unloading.

Pros: On time

Cons: Was delayed for an hour

Pros: We landed safely
Cons: United continues to blame “ATC” for ridiculous operational delays that other airlines flying the same routes don’t seem to have

Pros: Friendly and helpful crew, seats were newer and a bit more comfortable than my other United flight.
Cons: Everything else, delays on top of understandable weather delays, slow boarding, poor snack and drink options,

Pros: n/a
Cons: UA lost 4/4 ski bags through our connecting flight in chicago - which resulted in us having to stay at baggage claim until 1:30am EST. We needed our ski's to ski the day we landed - and had major headaches due to this issue.

Cons: No food or snack on first flight in the morning

Pros: Excellent crew and snacks, we were on time, actually arrived early in Boston.
Cons: The strong exhaust fumes while in the gate was really uncomfortable. It finally cleared once under way but 10 minutes of breathing it was not pleasant.

Pros: Crew was excellent
Cons: N/A

Cons: A 3-hour weather delay was discouraging because it happened incrementally over 7 or 8 different announcements--each time getting later. One or two would have been reasonable. The seats are tiny and there isn't really enough leg room even for me at just 5'5" tall.

Pros: Crew help and service
Cons: Lending was bumpy. , Internet was not Working and no entertainment chenal as well

Pros: Flight was short.
Cons: I was not informed about the delay until after I checked my bag, otherwise I might have chosen another flight. I was informed that though I could possibly change flights, my bag might not. I have the UA app, and did not receive timely notification. Free WIFI would have been nice as a compensation. A 4 hour delay means I miss my bus and extends my travel time significantly, one more night away from home. You did offer $50 of mt next UA flight for the next year, but I don't fly that often. Considering the reason for the delay was they were waiting for a plane was frustrating.

Pros: It was ok
Cons: Too much confusion on seating...people were moved because of double seating then I was asked to move I seat back. I only agreed so the parent could sit with his two children

Pros: Bumpy but spectacular ride through a thunderstorm on descent.
Cons: Flight assistants were not particularly helpful with our baby. Same complaint about baggage, but on this longer flight, why make us pay extra for food and entertainment too?!

Cons: Wouldn't let me bring my bag even though there was plenty of space.

Pros: Flight attendant was nice
Cons: Three hrs late. Direct tv for 1st class was non existent. Gave us a bag of chips as a "premier snack"

Pros: The flight was as comfortable as can be. I really appreciated the great cup of coffee brewed. This was the 2nd and final segment of an overnight itinerary. What else can be said?

Pros: United doesn't care about you or any of their customers. Charged me extra fees for luggage then lost my stuff and tell me to write your home office. No thanks but I will let people know how little you care and how poorly you treat your customers. Sorry I flew United!

Pros: Good staff.
Cons: Couldn't change flight and it was delayed.

Pros: I was upgraded to an economy plus seat, which was very comfortable. I often fly late at night and find it difficult to sleep on the plane, but in my upgraded seat I was asleep within minutes of take off!
Cons: I had some difficulty when checking my bag and did not find the additional services agent particularly helpful. All ended well, however. I also would have preferred a headrest screen rather than personal device entertainment, but did appreciate the option to watch a movie.

Pros: Same

Pros: I didnit like The flight to be 3 hr late. The last hr waiting on The plane to depart No wątek or snack

Pros: Very rough conditions into BOS, pittsfield did great job.

Pros: I was wirried about making the connection. Enddd up with an hour which was ample.

Pros: I didn't board this flight- the luggage took 40 min to come out and then I needed to go through customs and security.
Cons: Poorly planned connection- not enough time to make connecting flight. Very poor customer service at travel assistance desk as well.

Pros: Loved the announcement guy, professional w/ a sense of humor he was funny

Cons: We were told there wasn't anymore space for carry ons so I had to check my bag. I got on the plane and there was plenty of space for bags. There needs to be better more efficient communication about baggage space.

Pros: the pilot gave regular updates due to the delay. he was audible just as frustrated as passengers. but it was out of his control and his updates were appreciated. they let us off the plan instead of forcing to stay on for over 2 hours. offered free in flight entertainment for the inconvenience of the delay. it was a nice gesture.
Cons: the choice of snacks. the delay the flight was over booked.

Pros: Timing
Cons: Seats. Not comfortable at all for long flights.

Pros: Comfortable seats, decent drink options
Cons: Boarded late. There were no seats at the gate so everyone had to just stand around waiting to board. No announcement or apology. Took 25 minutes after we landed for the first bag to come down the chute at baggage claim. My first class dining options were chips, pretzels, or a banana. Short flight but still.

Pros: Crew staff went out of his way to find something for my aisle to snack on when the person next to me asked if there was any snacks on the plane. The plane had to be changed for another plane due to a mechanical issue on the first plane, and the new plane had not been stocked with food after it's previous flight, yet the crew member was able to scrounge up some snacks for us! Also got complimentary directtv - nice, but doesn't make up for not getting home in time yet again.
Cons: United sucks. I have flown it maybe 10-12 times in the past 2.5 years, mostly back and forth between Chicago and Boston. I have had only 3 round trip flights go without a hitch. Every other trip was delayed. This time 4 hours on my return flight to Boston due to a plane switch, boarding of a new plane to discover a mechanical issue, deboarding, waiting for a new plane, then boarding and sitting on the ground for another 40 min before we were able to take off. I was delayed 1.5 hours on the way to Chicago due to another plane swap (no joke). Still doesn't top but my worst 5 hour delay in Chicago on the way back to Boston because the captain didn't show up. United is atrocious and is my last choice or any airline. Only fly when I'm absolutely forced to now due to no other reasonable choices. They are below delta, JetBlue, American, southwest, and embarrassingly, spirit as well. Terrible.

Pros: Captain had apologized many times about the delay. I appreciated that. . Crew attitude towards customers were way better than my first leg.( Beijing to Chicago). I wonder why. Boarding took long time. Many people had no overhead bin for their carry on. I don't have one so I Just watched them. They serviced water and a tiny snack. One man asked if they have something to eat. He was given a bigger bag of snack, free, usually he had to pay. I guess its due to the delay. Waited a little longer for luggages. But I was happy I arrived Boston safe before midnight.

Pros: the flight time was great. pilots were informative.
Cons: service not so great. in flight staff was a bit rude. seats were very small and uncomfortable for such a new plane.

Cons: Massive delays Zero leg room Waited forever to board then waited for four passengers for an hour. Hated the overall trip and flying with United.

Pros: The promptness on the flight -the friendly crew - arriving on time means the most, also the flight itself was smooth

Cons: My seat was so tight. No leg room.

Pros: not a damn thing
Cons: Weather delays are a typical part of travel. What's not typical are 5+ hour delays and sitting on the tarmac and watching your connection take off without you. First Class seats morphed into Economy center seats the next day, with nary a hotel room in sight. Thanks for nothing.

Pros: N/A
Cons: Seats were uncomfortable, no TVS & food was horrible

Pros: Delayed a lot

Pros: On-time flights

Pros: I didn't like anything about it, they will overturn a half hours late, with the excuse "waiting for aircraft"... My first flight was delayed for over four hours, I had to sleep in the airport, terrible company to do business with… Will tell everyone not to use United ever again
Cons: Flight worth almost 3 hours late, there was really no reason to be late, they texted at 5:00 in the morning saying the flight was already two hours late on the flight wasn't supposed to be until 5:40 PM. Bad planning, seems very disregarding to people's travel plan, and careless about the whole situation. I would expect at least some courtesy food or the offering of airlines miles points for the late flight. Selfish!

Cons: Delays

Pros: The little waffle cookies you gave away were terrific. I really liked the boarding process with the different lines for each zone.
Cons: I was not able to view any of the in flight movies because of an error.

Pros: The Crew was well knowledge, courteous and professional.
Cons: tray table seemed to be dirty. I know the turn over time is small enough, but if possible, or if not already being done, cleaning of tray tables on both sides of the table.

Cons: Spirit airlines charges extra for practically everything. Almost comical. Example: My seat back tray was a tiny postage stamp, compared to the normal tray tables for most other rows. Why? Because I declined to pay extra for the privilege of an assigned seat. Oh, and the flight was 3 hours delayed.

Pros: It was cheap
Cons: Not much

Cons: I don’t like that you have to pay for a carry on...I think that’s a really sneaky way of doing business. The ladies were pretty rude pulling people out of line and demanding payment Our flight was a 1/2 hour late arriving and we sat in the plane after boarding for one hour with very little communication. If the plane has to be fueled why board everyone into the cramped space to sit there. Very uncomfortable.

Pros: Flight was what i expected. Someone was asleep in my assigned seat so i took a seat in a vacant row just behind him.
Cons: Seats are hard. Trays are useless. Wish they did just a little more.

Cons: Never again will I fly spirit! Flights are always delayed and you get charged for everything. Don't think your normal backpack will count as a carry on with spirit because it won't. You'll have to pay another fee for it. Just awful. Never. Again.

Pros: The crew was nice.
Cons: They should have more consideration for their customers. They make me paid $57 for a small carry on bag. After 2 hours flight delayed. I was very disappointed. Stuff happened sometimes beyond your control but still they did not show they care.

Pros: non eventful flight
Cons: Non flight related left an item on the flight has been difficult to identify who to call/contact on spirit.com. People i've been able to reach have been very helpful.

Pros: it was a horrible time never again
Cons: my first flight going to Boston was cancelled so I had to fly out at 6am for my daughters graduation at 11am just made it .Next morning get up at 430am for my 830 flight I get to the airport at 725am and tried to get my ticket and the computer told me to go to the desk . The lady told me that I was late for my flight that left at 830 I had 1 hour to get to my gate . She refused to give me a ticket for my flight and told me the next flight was at 950 pm 14hrs later . I paid for that ticket and I was given no chance to get on it because they over booked the flight . I was told by an employee later that it was over booked so I had to buy a Southwest airline ticket to get home to make it to work Horrible

Cons: Spirit Airlines has so many hidden fees. You can bring one personal item for free. However, a carry on was an additional $59 per flight. Checking a bag was $62. We also had to pay to reserve a seat. All of the $10 seats were shown as unavailable when we were checking in. This meant only the $18/$28 seats were listed. When we got on the plane the flight was almost empty and we could have sat in any of the $10 seats. You don't even receive complimentary water.

Pros: Flight was on-time.
Cons: Bag drop was very slow due to only two people working the bag drop counter and one of them dealing with a customer issue.

Pros: Gave $7 food voucher and $50 voucher for future flight for the delayed flight
Cons: Flight was delayed 4 hrs and then we sat at gate for 1 hr after boarding

Pros: NOTHING
Cons: THE LACK OF LEG ROOM YOUR DRACONIAN PRICING POLICIES UGH

Pros: Sitting down. Not much more was pleasant.
Cons: Got jammed getting on the plane. With time to make it through security we were held back. Now missing our flight, we were hit with late fee and a flight for 12 hours later. Spent all day at the airport, missing afternoon engagements on the home front. Then waited in the terminal to then realize we had to pay for carry on baggage. Should have been identified when the new tickets and boarding passes were issued. No notificTion. We then had to pay before boarding, the attendant saw that we paid a late charge and continued to bill us for carry on. No discount, no empathy, not how to do business. Not a fan of surveys and have not filled one out in years but this experience was past poor. The delay and charges added up to a travel that would have gotten us to the.other coast, not the 55 minute flight home. The flight was.also delated for over an hour, pusbing us out even later due to weatber? Weather between Baltimore and Boston were clear. Bostin our destination city was clear as well. Just a terrible experience and will not be recommnding any services with thus carrier in the future.

Pros: Crew were nice
Cons: Late

Pros: Literally nothing.
Cons: My friend and I scheduled a weekend trip to DC, flying out Fri night from Boston into BWI and coming back Sunday. Spirit cancelled our flight 2 hrs before take off for "weather" (it was raining... NONE of the other flights from Boston to that area were cancelled). Then the customer service reps at the Spirit counter were grumpy and completely unapologetic. They begrudgingly searched for other flight options at our request but, as expected, were unable to provide any suitable alternatives (because Spirit is the WORST). We ended up purchasing last minute tickets with Southwest, and I can confidently say I will never fly Spirit again (and will probably fly Southwest more because their staff was helpful, friendly, and fun, and their flights were reliable and punctual -- also also they let us move our flight to an earlier time coming home at no extra cost).

Pros: The crew made way too many announcements and were disruptive.
Cons: The crew made too many announcements on the PA system, which itself was set at too loud a setting. Very annoying.

Cons: Complete disorganization from ticketing to boarding. Extremely rude crew on board. Mechanics in cockpit while flight being boarded making comments like "that can be fixed in Boston". Plane circled Logan airport for over 20 minutes with no explanation from pilot or crew. When flight landed, now over an hour late, we were told we had to sit on the runway for 45 minutes because another plan was booked to arrive in the same gate as our flight. When the plan dis start moving to the gate it stopped and the fasten seatbelt light went off so everyone assumed that we were in the gate (it was complete darkness and no one was saying anything) so people got up, got their bars from the overheads and line up to get off the plane. At lease 5 minutes later a very rude flight attendant started yelling over the speakers for everyone to put their bags away and close the overheads and sit down because we were not in the gate yet. Then she got up and stormed down the aisle and slammed the overheads that were left open shut. When we got off the plane the crew including the pilot had their backs to us and did not say goodnight or anything, like we were bad children .... HORRIBLE!!!!!

Cons: Initial boarding was delayed and then delayed two more hours after boarding for maintanence of the engine. Never flying with this airline again. A

Cons: We had to sit inside the plane more than an hour after landing on the way back, because Spirit couldnt provide gate for the plane. Other airlines (JetBlue and American) got their gates without problems.

Pros: I only paid 41$ for this flight, and it was very easy to get through security and get to my flight.
Cons: There were too many added fees to avoid, like luggage fees, check in fees and fees for drinks and snacks on the flight. I avoided paying for them, but I would rather just go southwest next time, they are absolutely the best. If i didn't check the carry on policy beforehand i would've had to pay 100$ for my second carry on which is ridiculous. South west allows two free carryons and free checked bags.

Pros: pilot flew this plane well, and flight attendant also very good - older man

Pros: Totally so mad at check in on line 24 hours ahead of time - found out one piece of checked bags is $40, a carry on was another $20 and seat assignement was yet another fee. All this after buying a ticket! We had no idea there were so many other fees. The airport was was out of our way and we only booked the flight because the fare was lower. When we found at AT CHECK IN, 24 hours ahead of time about all the extr fees, we rebooked on another airline and said forget this airline, what a rip off! Never again will book this airline with all those hidden fees. It was excessive and not mentioned till check in. Bad business model!!

Cons: After we landed, we were stuck on our plane for 1.5 hours due to another plane being in the gate ahead of us. I know it wasn't the crew's fault and they were sympathetic and nice, but it was pretty absurd being delayed getting off the plane for that long.

Cons: The flight was cancelled for no reason and check in was next to impossible. It was crowded in the waiting area and the people working the counter were less than accommodating when we tried to get a refund.

Pros: The crew was friendly.
Cons: Checked bags are $50, carry-ones that require overhead storage are an additional $50 charge. No snacks were not provided and were an additional fee. Their phone based customer service is a maze of automated prompts, and it was almost impossible to speak to a live representative.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: I had 2 tickets booked for Boston on November 17th at 5:58pm. I tried to check in online for both travelers, but according to Spirit Airlines website, you cannot check 2 tickets from the same account. When I arrived at BWI airport and went to the Spirit Airlines desk the lady told me that the flight is closed even though it was still not boarding time yet. I explained to her what happened and asked for cooperation, but she just kept repeating that flight is closed and next flight is in 2 days, which I couldn't wait for, because of the scheduled appointments that I had in Boston. In general the service was terrible and the website platform didn't work right. I had tk pay $250 dollars for last minute ticket while I already lost the money for the first two tickets.

Pros: The flight was cheap
Cons: I was charged $65 for my carry on rolling suitcase on one leg of the flight. I was also told I didn't have a seat on the flight to Boston so I quickly bought the last ticket on the last flight from Boston to Baltimore. Then I went to get the money from Spirit to pay for the JetBlue ticket and they told me I now had a seat on Spirit and the plane was about to finish boarding. I had to sprint back across the terminal to cancel my other ticket and just made it back onto the Spirit plane. Overall was a poor experience and will probably avoid Spirit in the future. Also after all the running, I really wanted some water, but didn't want to pay for it during the flight. All other airlines I've flown on do not charge for water.

Cons: Flight was delayed 1 hr. and 20 minutes. The extra charges and fees for everything, rather than having built-in prices that are more inclusive.

Pros: The customer service was outstanding. Especially at the check in counter. I was there on 9-12-16 at 8am and the three people behind the counter were just outstanding

Cons: I will never fly Spirit again. I made the mistake of falling for the cheap plane tickets when I should've booked Southwest like I always do. I received over 7 notifications of flight delays in the course of an hour, which was extremely annoying and unprofessional on their part. Not knowing what to rely on, we arrived at the airport as planned for the original flight. Our last flight notification was a departure time of 8:10, 1.5 hours after original flight. At 7:40 we arrive at our gate, which I've found 30 minutes is the standard amount of time for boarding (spirit does not provide boarding times). When we got there the doors were closed and not one person was at the gate. We literally watched the plane take off without us, 30 minutes prior the departure time. When we finally spoke to a Spirit employee, we were told that the departure time was just an estimate and that the plane arrived early so they decided to leave. After much debate, we got a full refund - for both the tickets and the $55 per carry-on item we had to pay and promptly booked our tickets with Southwest for the next flight out. After speaking with friends and family, this is pretty standard service from Spirit Airlines. So don't be fooled by the low prices.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: My wife and I arrived at the airport an hour before our flight only to find that it had been delayed an hour and a half. We then decided to grab a bite to eat at the restaurant about 100 feet from our boarding gate. We checked our phones constantly to make sure we would not miss our flight and the updatesfrom Spirit consistently stated the plane was leaving at 8:10. When we arrived at the gate at 7:40 for boarding, the plane was taking off, despite the fact that above the gate it still indicated that takeoff wasn't for another half hour. When I asked the young gate attendant what had happened she brushed past me saying planes gone, you missed it. When she finally got her manager, who was equally as rude and unprofessional, she blamed my wife and me, stating that we should not have relied on the updates we were receiving, or the boarding time that still stated 8:10 above her head as she was speaking to me, as if to highlight the absurdity. She also told me she couldn't refund our flight but only provide us a credit, after pressing her further, it turns out she did have the authority to refund our flights, and only after asking to speak to her boss, did she do so. I will never fly (or attempt to fly) Spirit ever again, and I urge others to stay away from Spirit at all costs.

Cons: So just remember that while the ticket itself might not be that expensive, you'll be charged for everything other than your personal bag, which might make up for the difference in ticket cost. Both of my flights were also delayed by about a half hour, which didn't make that much difference to my trip, but could be problematic if you have a tight layover.

Pros: They were polite enough about it, I suppose.
Cons: Without making this clear to customers, spirit requires check-in 45 minutes prior to boarding. And moreover, they charge a $99 fee to do anything about it. Fortunately I realized I had over $200 in unused credit with Southwest, and I was able to get home paying less than $40 only two hours before takeoff with Southwest. A potent lesson in how much Southwest fits my style.

Pros: Staff was great and flight was on time.
Cons: A carry on bag should have been free like most other airlines. When you add on a $55.00 charge to carry on a small suitcase it makes the Spirit Tickets expensive especially considering the fact that most other airlines do not charge a carry on fee at all. This unecessary carry on charge for a bag is why I will not fly with Spirit Airline again because you are not really saving any money at all compared to most other airlines which hopefully Spirit will realize one day.

Pros: Missed my flight on another airline but knew I had a voucher in the system from Spirit. The flight was sold out but I waited to see if there would be an open seat, there was and I was able to use the voucher as well. Good people worked there.

Pros: The cabin crew and pilot wert wonderful!
Cons: Checking in was a nightmare! The self serve kiosk was at the counter and we had to wait in line with full service to even get to one, that took almost 40 minutes, then tsa had an unbelievably long line and took another hour! We got to the gate just in time for final boarding call. The flight crew announced they were going to close doors but changed their mind to continue "refueling" and let almost fifteen more people on! If I had been one of those people who got to the gate to be told boarding was completed I would have been furious! They needed to wait for those people, still it delayed our flight about 20 minutes. The flight itself was a little bumpy, definitely an economy airline.

Pros: The crew was great.
Cons: I don't like that there was a delay of 2 plus hours before I even got thru security, along with the same lame excuse about equipment changes at another airport (the same excuse as when they were late when we flew from Boston to Baltimore). This airline should be ashamed of the way that it conducts business, it is almost as if they have no concept of departure and arrival times, and the importance of them. I will never fly this airline again and I strongly advise everyone reading this to avoid them like the plague.

Pros: The flight was delayed for 4.5 hours for no eal reason except poor management. They then boarded early and the agent left. We almost didn't get on and 5 of us were quite panicked. when we got on board we had to wait for maintenance...scary. next when we landed we had to wait 20 minutes becuase they don't have gates. I have a TSA number I filed with Spirit but, I ddin't get that because they don't have a system for it yet. We were supposed to arrive in Boston at 8:13Pm. We got there at 1:20 AM. The charge for one bag and if its' over 40 lbs they change another 30 dollars per bag. Most airlines allow 50lbs and no charge for the first bag. they charge for seat assignment ahead. You must get your boaridng pass ahead or I bleieve they charge you extra. It is unbelevable. I will never fly them again. When

Pros: Nothing,
Cons: The check in process for horrific. We waited in line for more than an hour and we were at the front of a line that was at least 3 hours long. The counter was understaffed. Supervisors were not available. Counter staff told us the rest of the staff was "hiding in the back" because they did not want to deal with the problems out front. The seats were very uncomfortable and did not recline at all. It might have been worth it if the flight really was as cheap as the original price, but once you paid for your seat, checked bags, and carry on bags, the cost was comparable to the major airlines. Never again. We are considering buying one way tickets home at the counter for extreme amounts of money just to avoid flying home with them.

Pros: There was nothing unusually good to like.
Cons: Ridiculous requirement to create an account with Spirit to enable online checking in. Then the website would not allow me to create an account. Then it took THIRTY FIVE minutes on the phone with TWO agents who did not listen and could not understand English properly, to finally be told they could not check me in on the phone. Then when I checked in at the airport my boarding pass did not have TSA Precheck. Also it stated NO CARRY ON. There is a ONE HUNDRED DOLLAR FEE for a carry on!!! Departure 15 minutes late from Baltimore. Then after the 65 minute flight to Boston, we had to wait for FIFTY MINUTES for our gate to be clear of another Spirit flight. Return flight had the same NO CARRY ON restriction. Both planes were A319's, so big enough for carry ons! Return flight delayed over an hour. I will NEVER use them again.

Pros: flight there was ok. boarded pretty quickly. flight crew was really nice.
Cons: flight back was horrible. i got into my uber and started going to the airport when i get a notification that my flight has been delayed for two hours. so i told my uber to turn around. I pretty much paid 8$ to drive around a block. After getting dropped off, i was hanging out with my sister and there were at LEAST 8 notifications telling me that flight has been delayed or it has moved to an earlier time. it was ridiculous and I will never take this airline again. I went to the airport since it was getting moved to an earlier time, and I still had to wait over an hour to board. never never again.

Pros: The plane facility was fine. The staff was well intended and did their best to help.
Cons: Travel updates were late coming. 4 hours before my flight boarding time, I received an email notice that my flight would be delayed by 9 minutes. While I am sitting in the airport at the gate, at the new boarding time, there was no announcement- and no gate agent, but rather an email saying that the flight was delayed 2 hours. They had no advance notice that the flight would be delayed until the flight was supposed to be boarding. There was no gate agent to handle the difficulties that presented to travelers. I'll pay more or take a bus over taking Spirit.

Cons: Flight was scheduled to leave Boston at 8.50.p.m.on July,16 but it departed at about 0030 hrs on Jul,17 forcing me to sit at the airport and causing lot of discomforts at the age of 67 yrs as also to my aged wife. I also have lurnt that Spirit flights are generally running late.

Cons: Flight was delayed multiple times. Once we finally landed it took nearly an hour to find an open gate for us to park at and unload. You get what you pay for as they say

Pros: Upgrade to first class seat was a perk! Spacious and comfortable headrests for a nap.
Cons: Pay-per-use food, drink (including water), and baggage (including carry-on) makes for an abrasive experience.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything

Pros: Nothing good about this airline... It is a horrible airline run by rude inconsiderate people who try and rip you off with hidden fees and services! Their business motto is "Let's trick our customers into paying more and then lie to them when they ask simple questions" That's not a good way to run a company and quite frankly I don't understand how they're still in business.... See my bad review section for more details
Cons: The flights were delayed both ways on the round trip, the first flight by 3 hrs and the return flight 1 hour. Both flights were not delayed due to weather because it was nice out. Just poor management. Our return flight was delayed when I woke up that morning and all day it remained delayed on their website. Until 2 hrs before the flight it was switched back to ontime. We called Spirit to confirm and they said it was ontime. So we had to rush out of the house and skip the dinner my father in law made everyone because the airport is an hour away. We got to the airport only to find the flight was delayed on the board. We went to the gate and the Spirit employees kept assuring us the flight was not delayed even after the scheduled time the flight was suppose to leave they continued to lie and were completely dishonest with everyone on the flight. Very rude customer service and they would just ignore people and walk down the runway and shut the door so they wouldn't talk to us or give anyone an update. We could have gone and had dinner had they not lied to us about the departure time. Just the worst airline I've ever dealt with in my life... they may be cheap but you get what you pay for... and any upfront cost for the ticket is false advertising because once you purchase the ticket you then have to pay for a carry on bag, you have to pay to pick a seat on the plane, you have to pay to check in when you're at the airport, and you have to pay for any services on the plane including the "complimentary drink or snack." Their seats on the plane do not recline at all to make things more comfortable either. I will never fly them again and I warn anyone else who might think saving $50 on the ticket price is worth it cause they get it back in the end and then some!

Pros: Cheap flight, no waiting to print boarding pass.
Cons: The flight was slightly delayed, but the gate agent did not seem to know about it and the email was sent well after the scheduled boarding time. It was completely unnecessary for me to run through the airport. The same thing happened the last time I flew from BWI to Logan with Spirit.

Cons: After boarding the plane we were told that the flight would be delayed and had to re board an hour later. Then we did not have a place to land so we had to fly around for half an hour until allowed to land. Once we had a bumpy landing we did not have a gate and had to wait another half hour before able to get off the plane. Very unhappy.
