Cons: "A lady in AA counter at AA DFW counter. She was rude and not helpful. at all."
Pros: "Dame coments"
Cons: "Same coments"
Pros: "I liked the crew, they were nice and tried to help, food and refreshment was good."
Cons: "1) Flight from Dallas delayed and caused me to miss the connecting flight from London to Vienna. 2) Monitor for the entertainment not working AT ALL. Crew tried to reset it multiple times, but it didn't help. So flight was longer due to delay and I was looking at the BLACK SCREEN entire time. 3) I attempted to read my book. Since it was a night flight and overhead lights were off to prevent disturbance, I needed to use reading light. Well, the reading light was not working. I called a flight attendant to assist me. She tried to help me, but confirmed that it was out of order. 4) There was not information regarding terminal for my connecting flight. Captain kindly referred us to look up this information on our individual screens. Mine was not working, neither was the screen of the passengers next to me. Not helpful at all."
Pros: "On time"
Cons: "No leg room, hot plane, airline staff is friendly but clearly bored."
Pros: "Cleanliness of plane, attitude of crew, on time"
Cons: "0600 departure. Too early."
Pros: "Liked the ease of traveling from DFW to Corpus."
Cons: "The crew, especially flight attendant Brittany, were rude, and she was beyond rude and actually the backend of a donkey. She snapped at us about a carry on that wasn't an issue traveling to DFW., then ignored me (have a boot and crutch) when seats with more room were available...then did nothing to help get my crutch from the storage."
Pros: "Excellent entertainment options"
Cons: "Wi-fi not available for most of the flight. Very uncomfortable middle seats for long flights such as this one."
Pros: "Nice crew"
Cons: "No entertainment. Learn from TAM in Brazil and offer entertainment via smartphone / tablet. No food service."
Pros: "I was just happy to get a flight out early the next morning when my Thursday afternoon flight was cancelled."
Cons: "I ended up in a middle seat due to having to be rescheduled, but it was still comfortable."
Pros: "Got to my destination on time."
Cons: "Where to start? How about when I checked in at the counter, I asked the check in attendant to add my FF number on my ticket. They said they'll get right to it, handed me my tickets and sent me on my way. It never happened. Not a big deal, I can request the mileage post flight, but still something. Look at my tickets, that I had booked a week in advance and specifically reserved an aisle seat. My ticket says "Priority Verification," whatever that means. Turns out it means you don't have a seat, and you get the worst of the worst. So what seat is the worst? How about the middle seat in a row of 5. The middle in a row of 5, on a transoceanic flight... What kind of airlines has 5 in a row? The guy next to me spent $300 for his ticket, I spent $1200, for the same flight, and this is the kind of seat I get? The plane felt like it was straight out of the 90's, carpeted center walls, old seats, tiny tv's. Overall, a plane that felt had not been updated in decades. Took 20 minutes for a flight attendant to respond to the flight attendant sign. This wasn't during beverage or food service, just a normal time at cruising altitude. They also don't have eye masks. Every other transoceanic flight I've been on has them provided in the seat pocket, American Airlines doesn't even have them on the plane! Economy class has no USB or power outlets, the in flight entertainment is about a 5" screen in probably 260p resolution. Decent selection of movies, but you have to join the movie in progress or wait approx 10 minutes for the next movie to start. Legroom was okay unless you had one of the entertainment boxes in your way, then that takes up 30% of your space. Some of the tray tables do not have cup holders, on the top, bottom, or anywhere on it. Also my table was tilted, so every time I put a cup on it, it slid right off. Seems like a minor complaint, but eating dinner and fighting a sliding cup the whole time is a pain. Dinner and breakfast tasted decent, but you can tell American is cheap on the food. Most airlines will give something like a main course, a bread roll, fruit cup/salad, juice, small dessert. American gives you the main course and a fruit cup and that is all. Crappy utensils too. Overall, if I had paid maybe $200 for the flight, I wouldn't have any room to complain, but because American holds the government carrier contract for FY17, I had to fly on them at exorbitant cost, and would never recommend them to anyone."
Pros: "Great food, comfort, and smiles :)"
Cons: "in the gate the crew didnt let me took my only hand bag i have with my personel things including my medcian and cupe machine for brithing they say that my bag is big but itwas in the standert that i was allowed to take up to airplane i think the reason was i was the lat passenger to go in the air aplein and no space t o put the hand bag"
Cons: "Missed flight at london. Had to go to abu dhabi and Hyderabad. Very bad service"
Pros: "*Kosher* meals are always better than regular meals on AA. Served first and meals are fuller and of higher-quality (on AA, at least)."
Cons: "my luggage was lost between Dallas and St petersburg russia and I waited 5 days to receive it"
Pros: "Movies and plugs"
Cons: "This WAS the worst flight I have ever been on! First no pilot then no gas. Then turbulence the entire flight basically. AND THEN when we landed we couldn't even get off of the plain because there was no one to help us off??!!! Also they were out of food. It was just over all horrible."
Cons: "Because it was a day later!!!"
Pros: "Almost half empty cabin made this a very pleasant flight!"
Cons: "Food on AA was mediocre as usual. Edamame salad was nice and fresh for a change. Desserts are now prepackaged wrapping similar to candy bar..."
Pros: "The food and drinks were great. Flight left on time and arrived on time."
Cons: "This flight was actually on an American 777. One of the older models. For an almost 9+ hour flight, the in-seat entertainment systems need to be upgraded. The seats did not have USB charging capabilities, the selection of movies at the seat consisted of about 8 choices, and the screen size wasn't much larger than that of an iPhone 6 Plus. This was supposed to be a British Airlines flight, but it really was an American flight. I expected to be on a BA aircraft, which would have probably been upgraded."
Pros: "It served the function of crossing the ocean. The crew was kind."
Cons: "The airplane was outdated. It did not have personal entertainment suites at each seat. I haven't flown across the ocean without being able to choose my own movie in 3 years. Also, because of the outdated entertainment suite, the headphone jack is located in the armrest to the side instead of in the seat back in front of you. This caused me to bend my 3.5mm headphone connection at one point while I was moving my leg, because the connection jack is located below thigh level. The temperature was unbearable, and could not be controlled by the flight crew. Dressed for winter weather and roasted for the entire flight. I actually was dehydrated when we landed because I was sweating for 7 hours crossing the ocean."
Pros: "An old aircraft but well maintained. Crew was courteous and efficient. No food or entertainment"
Cons: "Delay in receipt of baggage at Chicago"
Pros: "Flight on time"
Cons: "Need better crew the lady serving the snacks looked moody."
Pros: "It was very smooth once we were able to take off!"
Cons: "We were delayed in the plane almost an hour with no cool air. They had technical problems."
Cons: "food"
Pros: "Went business class and was truly spoiled. Did an evening flight. The seat laid down to a flat bed. Boses headsets, facial refresher packages were provided. The food was wonderful and the wine was above average. A must experience!"
Cons: "Nothing"
Pros: "Nice, comfortable planes."
Cons: "Food quality could be improved."
Pros: "Everyone was friendly, the flights were on time, the food was great."
Cons: "There was very little leg room and few entertainment choices."
Pros: "My husband and I were traveling together to Dallas, and we were unable to sit together-The ticketing agent was very rude when we asked if she could find us seats that were together. She said, "We could ask someone on the flight to switch with us". We paid $738.00 total for both tickets to Dallas, and found it very hard to believe that we could not get seats that were next to each other. We have had this same situation on other airlines, and they were very accommodating to our needs."
Pros: "slight delay but they made up the time in the air"
Cons: "As stated above, I was late for my flights."
Pros: "Comfortable seats although it was a bit warm."
Cons: "I booked with Finnair and paid Finnair however my extra luggage fees were charged by another airline who charged 30$ more per bag than what I saw on the Finnair site. Really put me in a sour mood to pay so much extra money."
Pros: "As I was sitting there waiting to board the plane I started to have anxiety. Watching how many people lined up to get on the plane made me a little nervous. I even thought about renting a car and driving from Dallas to OC California. I waited until i was almost the last person to board. What a pleasant surprise. I was seated between 2 lovely people who probably could have but didn't hardly talk the entire flight. The conversations we did have were pleasant, and they slept some of the time without snoring. It was a very nice flight home! And I'm thankful I didn't rent a car. Flying is much quicker!"
Cons: "Same as above answer. Boarding the back of the plane first makes so much more sense! I'm totally sure you all have your reasons for doing it the way you do since you have been doing this thing for years now, I would just do it different."
Cons: "IT WAS AMERICAN NOT ALASKA!!!!! ALMOST MISSED MY FLIGHT!!!!!"
Pros: "This is not an experience I would wish upon anyone."
Cons: "My booking for some bizarre reason had my name on it twice and I was out of luck. Air berlins does not have a counter in any of the airports. If you are flying this you are on your own. If anything goes wrong you'll be stuck calling a 1800 number to Germany. Worst experience of my life had to buy a new ticket at the counter for 5k dollars to get to Berlin with family."
Pros: "Great entertainment."
Cons: "Food was not very good. Leg room was lacking."
Pros: "We did eventually get there"
Cons: "Flight got 3 hours delayed at dallas"
Pros: "No problems, smooth and quick flight."
Pros: "Crew, great. Flight smooth."
Cons: "Our equipment was a bit older, reminiscent of the plane featured in Die Hard 2: very 90's chic"
Cons: "Flight was cancelled with no reason provided. All rebooked flights were also cancelled. Had to rent a car to get to my destination at 10PM"
Pros: "Got lucky with a newer airplane. Great entertainment system. Minimal interruption by the pilot and crew."
