I

I hetes the delay and the fact that most of them couldn’t give me a simple information of the reason why it was delayed. They didn’t speak English fluently nor had WiFi so that we could communicate with the family about it. The airport and the company didn’t give enough support whatsoever!

Boarding went OK, although the flight was delayed

Did not receive proper meal accommodations, no entertainment (my TV didn't work), did not want emergency seat but received anyway, rude flight attendants...terrible experience altogether. Opened a dispute with Aer Lingus last week, haven't heard back yet.

Generally everything was good: delicious food, polite staff, seat that leaned back all the way as used to be customary.

The tray tables slanted toward us quite a bit, rather than staying level as they should. Flight attendant knew to suggest we prop them up with a pillow underneath, thankfully, but old equipment probably should be repaired or replaced more frequently to avoid this problem. Also, the food supply was running a little short, which meant that I could not buy an extra sandwich at the time when I was hungry for it since they had to save their supply for the tea service. (First meal was called lunch; smaller meal at the end was called tea.) Additionally, the main meals ("lunch") were not listed in the food brochure, meaning that I had to ask the flight attendant about the details while he was taking my order, a slightly inefficient system. (No problem for one passenger, but if you multiply it by the number of passengers on the plane, it may have kept someone from using the restroom when they wanted to, or similar.)

The food was decent for airplane food

When I booked my ticket, I booked a window seat in the exit row. When I got on the plane, my seat number was a middle seat not in the exit row. I saw right across from me there was an open window seat, which the lady sitting next to was using for her bags. I explained to the flight attendant that I had booked a window seat and wasn’t sure why I ended up in a different seat then I had booked. I asked him if he could ask the lady to move her bags so I could sit there, or if there were any other window seats available. He said no, that if I wanted I could ask the lady myself. Completely unacceptable. Of course she has no I treat in giving up this free extra space she has to me, and I’m sure she would have been happy to if a crew member had asked/explained the situation to her.

The fact that you get business class service. Pick your seats. Free luggage. Actual meals, you can even specify: Vegitarian, Kosher, Gluten free. All drink options, even Alcohol are included.

Entertainment options were limited, however they are currently upgrading that.

The food was decent for airplane food

When I booked my ticket, I booked a window seat in the exit row. When I got on the plane, my seat number was a middle seat not in the exit row. I saw right across from me there was an open window seat, which the lady sitting next to was using for her bags. I explained to the flight attendant that I had booked a window seat and wasn’t sure why I ended up in a different seat then I had booked. I asked him if he could ask the lady to move her bags so I could sit there, or if there were any other window seats available. He said no, that if I wanted I could ask the lady myself. Completely unacceptable. Of course she has no I treat in giving up this free extra space she has to me, and I’m sure she would have been happy to if a crew member had asked/explained the situation to her.
