We purchased tickets with assigned seats and when checking in we did not have assigned seats. Had to spend an additional $80 per seat to get an assigned seats.

The crew was extremely friendly, They were responsive to everyone's concerns and answered everyone's questions in a calm, collective way.

We were delayed for more than an hour and a half because the de-icer broke. We were also delayed coming back because we had to make a stop in California and then we were on the run-way for more than an hour because they didn't have an open gate for us.

The staff were above and beyond. Organized, on-time boarding. The pilots were great. The seats were nice. The tropical beverage offered was lovely. We had a toddler on board a few rows up who either screeched or cried the whole time, as in 5 of the almost 6 hour flight. A REMINDER TO BRING YOUR EARPLUGS. The parents did their best, and at one point I was in the aisle with mom and baby during some turbulence and the child got sick. I let the attendant who was serving drinks know about the situation and he didn't miss a beat and helped mom and baby recover, and got the area cleaned up. It might not sound like much but it was the above and beyond that most people don't realize flight attendants take care of routinely. I appreciated that.

The sugary breakfast. I was so surprised that literally nothing in the breakfast did not contain lots of sugar. The bread was inedibly sweet, the nonfat yogurt was overly sweet and had a weird chemical taste. Please at least low fat. Grapes, one of the highest sugar fruits, were the only thing I was able to eat. Please consider offering low/no sugar breakfast options, and wheat free options. I would have loved a hard boiled egg and some cheese and fruit. Couldn't really figure out the entertainment screen. Couldn't get the movies to load. I wasn't that interested in the screen but others might be. Tip: the jack is in the armrest.

I saw the gate staff flex the rules a little bit to accommodate the family in front of me in live. Great empowering of staff to be friendly to their customers.

Air conditioner was not working properly and we were delayed over 3 hours waiting on the plane at the gate and tarmac. Then they had to de-ice the plane which added more delay. Lost too much time that could have been spent in sunny, warm Hawaii.

Boarding and Arrival went smooth and quick. We were early to our destination. Short 3 hour flights are always easy.

I liked that the plane wasn’t full which was a surprise.

Last leg of the flight as usual we had some plane on it’s last legs with entertainment equipment from the 90’s and that’s being generous. My iPhone 7Plus is only a little smaller than the screen they would have you watch for five hours. Also the plane was old and noisy and seats were not really comfortable. But this is par for the course flying to Hawaii for some reason, no matter the carrier. Hawaiian Airlines is usually better but that’s to be expected.

Friendly service. Frequent snacks which is nice on a 10-hour flight.

The crew in Newark forced me to gate check my bag even though there were several empty overhead bins. I had 5 people in my party and we had only 2 bags. Absolutely STUPID.

Flights never leave on schedule and you’ll end up losing connection flight. Customer support has wait of 60 mins. Never ever flying again.

Worst airline ever. Surprise how is this company still in business.

First off I’m a Diabetic and some of my diabetic medication and or supplies are with me and some in my LOST checked luggage. I currently say lost because it Day 3 in Ibiza and the luggage never left Newark with my flight originally and is supposedly in Barcelona while I’m here. Called everyday for updates on my bag and they give you very little useful info. Oh and the 7:45 departure last Thursday didn’t leave until 2:30am, then they kicked us out of our economy plus seats picked for comfort and tossed us in middle aisle seats some place else which were ridiculously uncomfortable. There’s no entertainment except in first class and this is a 777 huge jet. Filing a claim, sending a letter to their ceo, a letter to he DOT, and grabbing a good lawyer friend for counsel on this because it’s a disaster. I had to buy everything I needed which isn’t enough and I’m also running out of diabetic supplies since the rest I’d my lost / delayed luggage. So delayed flight by 6hrs, kicked out of original seats, lost and delayed luggage, airlines seems to refuse to send it to my hotel through other carriers, 3days and no luggage and wondering if they are going to send it to Ibiza while I’m heading back to Barcelona today. No one calls me or emails or updates me on any status changes of where my bag is and what’s going on. Their customer service sucks and it’s some guy or girl in another country who gives no fks about your situation. I will never fly with United again

Took off 40 minutes late, rude attendants, very hot on plane, no apologies from staff for being late. Worst flight in a long time.

Flight was delayed by an hour. The new departure time was moved twice after we were already invited for boarding. Attendants failed to communicate new times or make any announcements absolutely whatsoever. Just stood in line to board for almost an hour.

I missed both meals because I was asleep. I usually get woken up by the flight staff, but this time I just missed them. The first time, I woke up on my own to see everyone finishing their food, so I asked for a meal and I got one; the second time, I woke up to see the trash being collected, but never got a chance to ask for my meal because no member of the flight staff passed me again. I landed in LA at midnight and was starving.

Our plane left BWI nearly 40 minutes behind schedule but we landed Seattle within 5 minutes of our original schedule. Kudos to Alaska Air and their skilled pilots and crew.

Even though I booked the wrong date, she was so nice to let me in on the day before the booked flight.

The beverages on the house isn't easy enough to get technically. I had to call twice before i can get one orange juice.

The boarding went super quick and the crew was very helpful!

Hawaiian Airlines Customer service from the bottom of the food chain up was the worst CD experience i have ever had. I had an issue and needed to get on of the reservations cancelled and get a voucher. I purchased 4 tickets but since one was in another persons name i had no jurisdiction over it according to them. They kept putting me on the line with different people in another country who had zero CS skills. Then they kept telling me that my reason doesn’t matter and that they had guidelines. And it was a pre written script because they all said the same thing. When the manager called me they basically made me feel an inch tall. Then when corporate (Hawaiian airlines) called me they told me the same thing. Basically held me hostage for my money and then sold my seat to someone else.

The plane was modern with good entertainment options. Overhead storage was ample.

Staff was attentive and pleasant. Seat was comfortable, good knee room. Left and arrived on-time. Good experience.

Reclining seats need to either go away, or be built so that reclining takes leg room away from the person reclining. Why should I be punished for a rude passenger in front of me who decides to punish me by reclining their seat?

The flight was three hours late!!!!!!! I had to get on and get off the plane with all my stuff. This has financial implications on the ground later that evening in Uber Cost and I had to pay for the additional day for my car because I was not able to pick it up at the originally scheduled time. I contacted United and have not heard ANYTHING!!!!! Please help me get my money back!!!

My seat was broken and would not recline, i mentioned it to the stewardness and even though there were other empty seats they did not offer to move me.

The Pilot still got us here on time, even though we took off late

The flight attendant in my section was sharp & cranky. We never recieved snacks.

- Paid EXTRA for an emergency exit row and it felt like I was sitting on a hard wooden box the entire flight. - Food was awful/barely edible. - Plane was old, dingy and dirty. Window shade was broken.

Getting to San Francisco flight was canceled, make a line for 3.30 hours to let us know what they were going to do with us, they give the place to go at 3 a.m with not directions were to take a bus , later someone come and told us the bus stop running at that time and I have to go upstairs to take a taxi, I was alone and not use to be alone at that time never in my live I had to pretend I was afraid. Of course the hotel only take you until 12pm so I spend so many hours in the airport waiting for re ticketing they told us to be at 6pm we wait and I got my ticket leaving at 9.45pm but the crew come one hour and half late. From Panama to Lima flight was late . I had a conference very important to be Saturday morning, I lost my investment and relationships with the company I was going to start a business there excuse was they couldn’t relay on my punctuality, honestly. I got there more than a day and half LATE. If you ask me how was my trip I will tell you horrible and I can’t recommend anybody, this company doesn’t have any personality at all

0 space felt like two people were sitting on top of me the entire flight. Seats are so small. No room to even put my arms at my side. I'm 5'9 and my knees were scraping the seat in front of me. Uncomfortable the entire flight. only nice part of the flight was the captain and crew.

Waited an extra 30 minutes for luggage to be loaded. Every American ( British airways partner) flight we took was delayed.

Reliability that your flight will not be cancelled. Punctuality.

They charge you $125 for a dog in cabin (JetBlue and Southwest near $100, Frontier $75). There is NO benefit, even with this extra amount of money. I was assigned to enter the aircraft in Group 8... I suggest AA the benefit to enter (at least) in Group 5 for people with PAID in cabin dogs.

Most movies were “paid” selections so I didn’t even bother, seats were very narrow even for a shinny person like myself. It seems that they installed more row of seats than much needed restrooms. They only had two in the back, only two in the middle of the economy section, I don’t know about the coach class and the first class cabin but as far as the economy class that was it, and that’s terrible. That is less than a half restrooms normally available on other carrier I’ve known. They should learn from ANA or Canada Air. The cabin temperature seems to be rather cold throughout the flight, yet there was no pillow (only paid one) nor blanket available.

Speedy boarding and deplaning.

The gate agent appeared annoyed when I requested a seat change a couple of hours prior to boarding. She didn’t offer assistance or an explanation. Just looked at me like ‘ in your dreams’. And flight attendants should really practice smiling more. Snacks offered on 5.5 hour flight we’re pretty pathetic.

The staff was helpful and professional at every juncture - from check in to landing. The flight was smooth and landed a bit early. Tv/movie choices were great.

Airplanes are so cramped, it’s ridiculous. I’m only 5’2” and I didn’t even have the room to bend down to reach under the seat to pick up a pen I dropped. Take out a row and give everyone more room.

Our seats did not recline - this was a red-eye flight so not seats that do not recline is a problem. The plane was very cold and we kept our jackets on but it was still too cold. The flight attendant said it was warmer in the center of the plane. That's great for them but didn't help us since we were not seated in the middle.
