Bring your own food or eat before boarding. Get to that airport 3 hours early for a domestic flight, the TSC screening line was 45 minutes long and if you have to walk to the other side of the terminal you might have to run.

Bring your own snacks because they will not feed you any kind of a big meal and it’s five hours. It’s a long time to wait without food. You do get a pretzel bag and a cookie and two drinks but that’s not enough.

The noise level at Paine field is low so you can actually hear the announcements. Seating is comfortable and there is a small coffee/ snack area which I was not expecting. Flight on Alaska was pleasant except for a little turbulence. Not crowded!! It was a 5 plus hour trip but very relaxed
